We have never had a more unpleasant experience with any purchase in our lives. We bought a Bosch refrigerator from Southeast Steel and had problems as soon as it was delivered. The water and ice dispenser didn't work and so we had to have the circuit board replaced. We noticed immediately that the water had a bad taste but determined it was coming from the ice. We notified our salesman, **** about it. He was very rude and very hostile and refused to do anything. We have never been spoken to like this by anyone ever. We were shocked by his lack of decency. We asked for a new filter as it was 2 years old and he refused. The person who delivered the refrigerator was supposed to install a new waterline as that was part of our delivery charge but he did not. **** said they would come back and change waterline but would not replace filter. We continued to have problems with the taste and got no satisfaction.. **** and *****************************, owner, kept insisting there was nothing wrong , that if water was fine, then so was ice, as it all comes from same line. Very discourteous on phone as kept cutting us off and repeating the same thing over and over. We finally called Bosch directly. They did replace the water filter and after 4 months, they changed the ice bin and the ice maker, which did solve the problem.

EXCELLENT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE. We needed to replace our old dishwasher. We checked Consumer Reports who rated Bosch dishwashers as being among the best. After not being able to get anyone in the Appliance Division of the two big lawn and garden stores to even answer the phone multiple times at several stores, we tried Southeast Steel. Evans H. immediately answered the phone. He is so nice and patient. We explained we wanted a Bosch Dishwasher in white to match our appliances with front controls. He searched and found exactly what we wanted. It was their entry level unit at $549.95. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He did not try to steer us to a higher priced unit like other stores sometimes do. Jose C. arrived on time within the two-hour installation window. He carefully unpacked the unit and made sure it was the correct one. He put down coverings to keep the floor clean. He took his time and explained what he was doing. He even rerouted the water line, so it was a straight shot to the new unit. After hooking everything up, he made sure there were no leaks. He explained how to operate the unit and clean the filter. He cleaned up the area and took away the old unit. He did not charge us for the power cord or haul away which most other stores do, saving us $60. The Bosch dishwasher is so easy to load and operate. It gets the dirtiest dishes clean and dry. It is so quiet. We can run it while watching the family room tv in the same area without increasing the volume. We thank Evans H. and Jose C. for excellent customer service. We will be contacting Evans H. to buy our future appliances there and have Jose C. install them. We highly recommend Southeast Steel.
