I purchase a talking trumpinator bear from Proud Patriots as a Christmas gift for my 83 yr. old father. When opened it did not function as advertised. Because it was more than 30 days... held as a Christmas gift. I was told the best they could offer was a 20% discount on a future order.Business Response

I have requested to cancel an order, via email, 5 times, no response. Called the number listed under Contact Us and it says they do not use a phone, only get voicemails. Makes no sense. This must be a scam.Customer Answer

November 11, 2024 I ordered and paid $52.48 for 2 ************************ On November 30, 2024 I received a letter only. It had a tracking number so they refused to refund my money. I went through ****** and explained, I received no bears, no products at all, only a letter but because this scam places a tracking number on the letter that says delivered! Im told it was delivered! These collectibles are made to order so they are nice, brand new, and in uncirculated condition when you receive them; then we have to wait for the inspection of these currencies because we do follow the guidelines of the U.S mint so we can get the signoff for the certificate of authenticity.

I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the message and it's content, but I want to assure this business that I DO NOT HAVE ANY MESSAGES in my junk/spam folder from them. No phone calls, no emails. I suspect the reply could be their response to the BBB inquiry.The item was received this week and came from a completely different company and the packing list had a different email and phone number. I have been in contact with *********** (info on packing list) and they have sent me a return label to ship the item back.
I do have a credit on my card from Proud Patriots yet.

On 11-30-24 we purchased 4 Trumpinator Bears, buy 2 get 2 free for $84.78. The advertisement on ******** that we clicked on said it talked 10 different phrases. When we clicked to purchase there was only 1 bear type option. There was not talking and nontalking options. when we received bears they did not speak. I emailed them with my complaint on 12-2-24. They responded today 12-20-24 saying we ordered the nontalking type bear. I believe this is false advertisement as the add stated 10 phrases and the bears were talking on the add. Also there was not an option given for a talking bear when ordering. They said I can return them within 30 days of purchase. They took up over 2 weeks of that time responding, now we are in craziness of Christmas season. I feel they should switch bears out for the talking version as advertised. They are only willing to refund me if I send bears back. The they are no longer on sale, so I would have to pay much more for talking version. They could honor the sale and we are willing to pay the $20 extra for the talking version.Business Response

I would like to return bears for the correct ones, but I'm concerned as they lied in their response. I did NOT accidently order the wrong bear as that bear was the only selection or option given when I ordered. 2nd they did say I could return other bears for a refund, but DID NOT offer to send me the talking bears at the same discount. I have not heard back from them after a week, so I sent another email 3 days ago asking them how to return bears. They send an automated email saying they will respond with human response within 48 hours, but I have not received a human response from either email???? Please advise me on what to do next. I placed an order for a Christmas gift on 11/30/24. According to my emails, they claimed the two items shipped separate however the tracking number was the exact same. I received the first item and when I asked about the second, they said it was delivered. However what was delivered was the first item. The second item was never shipped. They completely scammed me and I want my money back. They responsed to one email I sent and said they would look into it. That was the last Ive heard from them and Ive send over 50 emails. Ive sent my Ring camera footage and Ive sent all documentation. They are criminals and scam artists and their reviews clearly prove this as Im not the only one that this has happened to. Both items you purchased are showing different tracking numbers and both show they were delivered prior to Christmas. Let it be known however that although the glasses arrived before christmas, no one was going to do anything if I had not kept sending documentation to support the scam they were trying to pull.
Once I contacted BBB, they finally looked into it, I MAGICALLY received tracking for the item shipping THAT DAY. So it was clearly missed and I was never going to receive it. But its fine. I have the item. Too bad it took a message to the BBB to get them to listen to me.
