Dear Sirs:
The review from this former tenant is totally unjustified,full of contradictions and mostly not truthful or a far-out twist of the truth.
*r. * rented this referenced property for two years. The move in inspection (attached) shows the property was in good condition. He is complaining about the repeated good maintenance service we provided him during those two years. We cannot prevent a refrigerator (that was previously working fine, from breaking down. What we can do is exactly what we did: replaced the refrigerator. After the tech informed the office the refrigerator needed a major repair, a brand-new refrigerator was sent and installed at the unit. What is he complaining about? The A/C was clogged, and we sent the A/C tech,and it was fixed. After *r. * moved out,we found the reason: the filter was not being replaced regularly and the coils were clogged with dirt. The lease and its addendums stipulate that the A/C filter must be replaced regularly, or the tenant would be responsible for damages. During the move out inspection we found a dirty filter and dirty coils. *r. * was charged with the cost of cleaning the coils, as per his lease and his negligence. Please, see the picture of the A/C filter.
The house was clean when *r. * moved in. Unfortunately, it was not clean when he moved out, so he was charged for cleaning. Please see ---cleaning pictures.
Finally, to top all these misleading statements, *r. * is trying to play the race card which is totally untruthful and also offensive. Our company is proud of having tenants from all over ***************** and all over the world. We have many 5 star reviews, some from tenants that dont speak English.
Even more ironic, *r. * and ******* boss for 20 years are from the same territory and so they probably have a similar accent.
What we have here is a tenant that did not meet his lease obligations and chooses to smear a company and a grandmother to justify his negligence.
The BBB cannot be used to alter the reality and the terms of the lease. This review lacks any merit and needs to be dismissed without affecting our ratings.
