We paid $3200 for a week at the RVH_374R *********************************** home. There was an extra charge for "heat" for the hot *************** $300. I paid the $300, because who would want to sit in a cold hot tub right? The hot tub was ice cold our entire stay despite calling their office everyday, sometimes twice a day. The problem was never fixed, however after dodging us until our check out they informed me via email that they would only be refunding me $100 of the $300. Why? They say there is no evidence it wasn't working...... what???! We tried to use the hot tub EVERYDAY and was cold everyday. Now we're being called liars? Yes that was our plan all along, to spend everyday of our family vacation on the phone trying to get the hot tub to work... wow they really blew the lid off of our "scheme" How that is even legal much less how horrible of customer service that is is beyond me. Aside from that we arrived and the former people's trash was still all over the house.... there were empty shampoo bottles in the shower, there was so much debris in the pool we spent the first hour cleaning it our ourselves... we left that house cleaner than when we arrived. A company willing to sacrifice a good customer for $200 for a service they paid for and was never delivered is unconscionable and they should be ashamed. I wonder if the Sale guy "*****" (haha yes they would only give their first name, now i know why)... if he had taken his family on vacation and this had happened would he expect a refund?! You bet he would! Im counting on Karma for big ***** behind the keyboard. BEWARE, they are a rip off!Review from Marcus M.

My family used FVH for a house rental 2/18/23-2/25/23. Overall, the house was fine and served our needs. However, there are two sections of the rental agreement that are misleading. Had we been provided the FACTS, we would have never chosen FVH as our rental company. First, the thermostat can NOT be lowered below 74 degrees. Here is the portion of the rental agreement that addresses thermostats: "The air conditioning in any rental property should not be set below 74 Degrees Fahrenheit (23 Degrees Celsius) by the guests. Setting the thermostat to a lower temperature will not cool the property quicker. Due to the high temperatures in Florida, it can be difficult for the system to cool the internal temperature below this point. Setting the temperature below 74 Degrees Fahrenheit may result in the system freezing up. If this occurs the air conditioning will have to be turned off to allow the unit to defrost. The guest will have no air conditioning during this time and will be responsible for the technician's call-out charges. If the windows have condensation that is a definite sign the air conditioning temperature is set too low and there is a risk of freezing the air conditioning unit. Please keep all windows and doors closed." This wording says "should not", not "CAN NOT." There is a huge difference. Also, there is no need for nonsensical justifications and warnings about consequences when it's not a possibility in the first place. I live on the Gulf coast in virtually the same climate at central FL. I never have my thermostat above 70, and usually several degrees lower without a problem. It was hot the entire stay. The second issue is pool heat. The agreement says "Pool/spa heaters operate on a timer and are set to come on in the morning and go off in the evening." What guests need to know are the actual times! We wasted $175 because we were never there during the times when heating could be turned on! I believe it was 10a-6p, when guests are out at theme parks!Review from Luchana H

I want to start by saying I only gave them 1 star because I would not be able to leave a review if I didn't rate this place at all, but they deserve a big fat zero. We stayed at Champion Estate in Davenport, Fl My family and I were very excited to come to Florida and have a beautiful vacation. This especially included our stay in this rental home. However, from the moment we arrived, it has been nothing but a total disappointment. The admitties of this home including but wasn't limited to a screened in pool/ jacuzzi, a theater room with surround sound, and fully working kitchen appliances, etc... 1.The pool and jacuzzi were full of algae and uninhabitable. This was one of the main selling points we loved about this rental. We were not able to use the pool or jacuzzi until the Thursday before we were scheduled to checked out. 2. Another admittedly we weren't able to use was the theater room. The surround sound did not work. Even after countless attempts from the maintenance to come and repair it. 3. The water and ice maker on the door of the refrigerator barely worked. The water was coming out hot and the ice would only give a few pieces a day. 4. One of the stools broke while I was sitting in it. The maintenance worker just so happened to be there attending to repair the sound in the theater room. She put some wood glue on the stool. I took that stool and placed it somewhere to not be used or sat on by anyone. I didn't want it to break any further and someone in my family end up hurting themselves. Overall, while this was supposed to be a magical trip for me and family, it was more like a nightmare. We never return nor will we ever recommend Florida Vacation Homes to anyone.Review from Zamequa C

Place was a nightmare. My family and I booked a week at ******************* Solano Oasis. It was the worst experience of a lifetime. Very dirty and disgusting. When we called customer service and sent photos we were disrespected and told this is not ************** of you want ******* then you book *******. However I'm confused because they are advertising *******. I sent pictures of everything and requested to be moved. They refused. I have pictures of dirty linens dirty restrooms dirty shower liners and mildew shower curtains. I am very disappointed and not satisfied. My vacation was a disaster. No one was comfortable at all. The entire property needs to be removed from the website. They sent a release form to be completed to receive a days rental back if I sign and agree not to expose what happened. I will not sign a release. I will send the pictures and reviews to every avenue that I can. Totally dissatisfied at the level of customer service that my family and I received. Not only is it unsanitary but Covid is going around and my grandchildren had to stay at the property and risk getting sick from germs.Review from Eboni B

My Family booked the ******************** at the ************** through Florida Vacation Homes. This was the worst company and customer service I have ever dealt with in all my times I have traveled to Orlando. Arrived to the property at ********************. the front door inside and outside was broken, the floors downstairs and upstairs were so dirty, The floors were peeling paint from the owner trying to paint over the floors. I had to go buy socks for my family to walk around the house in on the floors. The showers in every bathroom had paint peeling and weren't clean, The water wasn't hot when you turned on the water in the sinks. There was long black pieces of hair on the towels in the master bathroom and in the sink, the master bathroom toilet was cracked and the water in the sink wasn't working when you turned the water on. In the living room the screen door was off track and screen was ripped, i called the office to report all this stuff and even took videos, I drove all the way back to the office where we checked in and spoke to the office staff which they sent a maintenance man and was suppose to send a housekeeper which never showed up at all. I requested some of my money back for the inconvenience after driving 13 hours and walking into a house that wasn't what I paid for is UNACCEPTABLE. They offered to send shower mats but i refused because my family didn't feel comfortable taking a shower in the showers Thank God there was separate tubs that was not connected to the shower that we could use. I spoke with James the operations manager for Florida Vacation Homes and argued back and forth with me about why he shouldn't give me some of my money back at that point I was MAD because they are advertising a house that doesn't look like the pictures when you walk in the unit. The owner should be ashamed as well for ripping people off and he know that house is a mess. The reunion resort is Awesome it's Florida Vacation Homes that I will NEVER NEVER book throughReview from Lori D

I called before our arrival after having a family member ride by the rental. I told them it didn't look like the picture on their website and asked for updated pictures. They told me this is all they have to which I responded, excuse me?! This is what you do, rent properties, the least you can do is update the pictures. I told them that I own a cleaning company and the outside better not be a reflection of the interior of the house. Well, I should have cancelled! The "game" room was unusable as all the games were broken. No air it was so hot in their, carpet disgusting and dirty, the wall all scuffed up, dust and dirt all over the baseboards. Drawer in the kitchen falling off tracks. Human hair left in the primary tub. Nothing was as it was supposed to be called management as we were told to do. They just let themselves in with no announcement, scared the hell out of daughter in law who was upstairs a lone in the house! Was told upon complaining they only have to knock. Totally disgusted. They offered to clean carpets while we. were there, but what do we do leave the house for hours, no thanks. Asked for some sort of refund nothing! Can't get the name of the home owner. I bet they pay a pretty penny for their management
