**************** very rude shipped my boat through them lost parts are unwilling to fix these problemsBusiness response
09/21/2023
To Whom it may concern,
We apologize for the delayed response into this completely unjustified complaint.
I originally reached out to the BBB to request removing it.
I respect what the BBB does but in this case do not agree with allowing companies to lose thousands of dollars on unjustified complaints especially when their is proof which I'm going to provide below.
Regardless of what our response it adds a negative stigma which in turn creates a major loss for our company which is not fair.
I could say that about a few of these reviews that we have received in the last **************************************************************************************************************************** the amount of negative reviews we have which is very few.
In regards to the complaint above by *********************, a very young, entitled and very difficult client we unfortunately dealt with has posted this negative review which is completely false and needs to be removed.
Just to recap, We contracted with ********************* to move his boat from ******, ** across country to **********, **
At the time of contract we went over our strict protocol and explanation of how we handle business and when we follow up with the pick up contact to schedule the loading on his behalf which is always done 48 hours in advance.
He threw a fit before we even were scheduled for pick up that their was no communication as we have documented everything that was conveyed to him. He placed us negative review on the BBB before we even picked up his boat. This has never happened in all the years we have been in business. The Operations Manager immediately contacted **** as to ask why he would do that and explained that we did everything we said we were going to do. We reach out 48 hours prior to pick up in which we did. He clearly didn't listen and was very difficult to deal with right from the start. We requested he remove this review be removed as it was nothing more then an attempt to strong arm our company. He finally calmed down and removed it. That was just the beginning of this terrible experience.
We then SUCESSFULLY delivered his boat all the way to **********, **
At the time of delivery he noticed his anchor was missing. He threw another fit and accused our driver of 10 years of stealing it.
We do not steal clients anchors. This is ridiculous. This was a cross country run and a minor thing like this is not un common.
The Operations Manager told him to please calm down and that we would have no problem purchasing him a brand new anchor. Our office found a company on line and purchased the exact anchor and provided client with the receipt and tracking number.
Two weeks later we receive a call from **** that the company had never delivered the anchor and that he had to file a claim with company because they claimed it was delivered and he said it wasn't.
At this point we told **** we understood his frustration and to give us a few days to sort it out with the company and that we would get back to him. During this period he placed another negative review with The BBB. We requested he remove this as again as we did everything to try and help this client. We even offered to cancel the transaction and zelle him the money from our Corporate account. He then responded via text that we were a joke and that we provided him with a bunk tracking number and to keep our money and leave him alone.
How are we to deal with someone like this? We provided him with a bunk tracking number? When he was in documented communication with the company themselves.
This whole whole thing is ridiculous and quite honestly we dreaded even addressing it.
Below is a copy of the receipt in which shows proof as well as tracking number and rude texts messages from *********************, with that being said We would appreciate you remove this unjustified review as we were clearly dealing with someone irrational and un reasonable. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
We would also like to move forward with our accreditation as we were A rated before this nonsensical review.
Thank you,
Sincerely Stealth Transport Group

On November 15, 2022 I paid $1,450 via credit card to Stealth as the requested down payment for the transport by Stealth of my sailboat from MA to SC. The total quoted price was $6,450. On that same day they sent me an invoice for the balance of the total price - $5,000. I rejected paying the full price in advance of the service and tried the very next day to communicate my cancellation of any as yet unagreed contract with Stealth. That cancellation was within the three day period authorized by ** law. There was no response to my phone or text message communications. Stealth has not responded to many subsequent attempts at communication and has not refunded my $1,450. I am attaching certain relevant communications.Business response

In regards to the complaint above,
We did in fact send Mr. ***** a contract and invoice for ******* with a ******* deposit via his credit card,
The remaining balance of ******* was not due until the vessel is delivered. That was never requested upfront.
Customer cancelled shipment without our knowledge and went directly to his bank to dispute charge rather then communicate with us so that our accounting department could
properly refund his deposit.
When our accounting department was notified of the charge back we immediately contacted our bank only to find out that we were never actually funded on his initial deposit.
We had numerous conversations with client and let him know what our bank had indicated. We explained this and provided proof of our original refund but because it was never funded the bank put the refund back in our account.
At this point there is nothing we can do as we did everything correctly on our end. The bank did their investigation and that was their determination.
We've been in business for over a decade and DO NOT in any case keep a clients deposit if services were not rendered.
We did not keep his deposit. We have an excellent reputation and pride ourselves on that.
With that being said we are sorry we were unable to provide services and have done everything on our end to resolve the issue but once in the hands of the bank it is between both banks to do a proper investigation in which they did.
This issue has been resolved.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Stealth Transport Group

This is a breach of contract by this company for failing to deliver a boat that they were under contract to deliver from ******, ** to ******, **.We entered into a contract for services for the transport of my boat for $3450 which was prepaid, there was a delay in shipment but then the company confirmed that a truck was available for the transport, only if, I paid an additional $4000. for the transport. I indicated that I would not pay thousands more for them to transport, seeing as we had a binding contract. Since the breach of the contract I had to wait from June 2021 to October 2021 to finally have my boat delivered by other means.I sent a list of costs, along with some costs to be determined, with the hope they would review the costs and make a fair offer to resolve this matter without the costs of litigation, including attorneys fees. The tentative amount the breach cost me was about $6500.00 without determining all costs. The company has failed to accept my demand letters sent to two separate addresses that they use. Additionally, I have texted and called the numbers that they gave me and I am being ignored.Business response

To whom it may concern,
In regards to the complaint above, We have no control if the customer provides misinformation when it comes to dimensions.
The dimensions provided were in correct. Our office then had to make new arrangements with a larger piece of equipment.
At that point the rate had increased and the route that needed to be taken was different.
Unfortunately that particular route had a lot construction and we had to incorporate re routing.
The customer did not want to pay the increase in rate so we returned his deposit in full.
As a company that deals with many variables, we cannot be responsible for things that are out of our scope of control.
We have been in business for over a decade and pride ourselves on customer service and were disappointed that we could not proceed forward with providing services for the client.
Thank you,
Sincerely,
Stealth Transport Group

I am rejecting this response because:
I gave them the correct dimensions for the boat. They gave many excuses at the time, and they are now making up that they needed a new route.

To Whom it may concern,
We had the ****** measure the vessel. It was slightly higher then indicated. We had to make new arrangements to send a low boy trailer which is the lowest type of equipment used for boats over 13ft high.
When the new arrangements were made the route that is usually taken had construction which called for re routing which then in turn created an increase in rate.
We as a company cannot control these factors.
This is transportation.
Rates can change based on many factors and we have to adjust our rates based on those changes.
We appreciate your understanding!
Thank you Again!
Sincerely,
Stealth Transport Group

I am rejecting this response because: The height of the boat was always the same, 13ft. I have attached an email from Stealth showing that I verified the height with the seller and they acknowledged that email. They are simply making up new reasons for breaching the contract. All I am asking is to be refunded the money that I had to pay to get the boat where they agreed to deliver the boat. They have offered nothing.
Sincerely,
