I purchased a gift card for a complete detail on my car and paid $127.75 and when I went to use my gift card tried to upsell me $47.25 which I asked for a refund and was told they don't do that Don't want to use their services and would like my money back any help would be much appreciatedBusiness Response

***************************** , Customer stop by at approx one oclock pm and said he wanted a detail ,when ask what area of car he was interested in detailing he was unclear, so after examination of vehicle it was suggested what needed to be addressed and quoted him a price it included an up charge because of condition and time to detail ,but it could not be until the following morning as detailers were booked for the day, this seemed to set him off , he then said he had an appointment for the same day but that was not true all I details are booked the previous day or earlier and are posted in a log , he then said he had a gift card for $127.00 and thats how much detail should be , it was not an understandable statement because gift cards are sold in the dollar amount a customer asks for not for any particular product or service , although it could be used for any product or service, by the way he said some other person gifted him the gift card , when manager tried explaining this to him he exploded and demanded his money back for gift card , manager explained that is not our policy but he could use the card for anything we sell car washing , detailing , showroom items . This person was rude , abrasive , and loud for no good reason, he became out of line when he continually addressed the manager and cashier in a very unfriendly manner .Customer Answer

And to this point there is detail packages listed on the wall next to the cash register Who goes in and gets $127.75 gift card
the package that I did buy at the time is now $139.95 which I understand everything is gone up but trying to skin a cat out of $47.75 is wrong
And we did call Friday to see about getting it done Saturday or Sunday and they was booked up Saturday due to one detailer and closed on Sunday and was told just to come in Monday no appointment needed and which I did ask for a refund I bought the card myself for my girlfriend but was told they don't do that I could understand if it was a gift card given to me but I paid for it with the receipt which I think the manager misunderstood that it was given as a gift but purchased by me
And for the record there was nobody being rude loud or abusive you can clearly see all the bad reviews on this business with the reply the customers always wrong !

Sir **** are definitely out of line ,you came in telling us you had an appointment for a detail but you did not , manager said to you we can book you an appointment for tomorrow and you replied "no" ,your gift card is for $127.00 period it is not for any particular service(s) or product (s), the price you were quoted when you asked for cost was $175.00 ,you already had your mind set to spend less ,the service you received a quote for was $139.95 plus an up charge for vehicle condition for a total of $175.00 ,your mind was set to only spend what the amount of the gift card was and that was not enough to fully pay for quote , so things did not go the way you wanted so you got angry and said things that were mean ,rude, abrasive and harsh ,especially to a lady (manager) that was trying to be nice to you and trying to help and calm you down, I (owner) was standing at your drivers side door the person that gave the quote for service so yes I heard it all ,and then to add insult to injury you brought your bad attitude into the showroom and started being loud to the cashier thinking she would give you a refund. If you choose to your gift card is acceptable here for the amount on card but business rules need to be followed and customer service will be giving .Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:well here's some more lies remember *****(The owner) one lie leads to anotherBy the way your cashier was very nice and when me and your manager had our conversation inside you was outside nowhere present until our conversation was over than you came inside to your office when I was walking out the door and again nobody was loud and rude as your claming then I sent the car in on Saturday with a appointment with someone else being present and you still refuse to honor your services and gift card saying because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and you been dealing with that all day
And saying you don't sell detailing packages I included a few that are hanging on the wall by the cash register which was another lie you stated to the BBB
Look I'm not going back and forth with this like two little kids fighting over a piece of candy
The only sollution to this compliment is
I paid for this gift card with my credit card and I was asking to refund it back to my credit card (nobody was asking for a cash refund) and so be it
And remember you keeping my ****** is not going to break me and I'm sorry that's how you do business it's the principal

I visited Car Pro Auto Spa of Palm City on 8/25/22 to have my brand new 2022 **** Explorer fully detailed for which I paid $251.30 for this service. After my car was finished, I noticed scratches on the center console which I brought to the detailer's attention and subsequently the owner's attention. The owner and the person who detailed my car denied that they could have done this damage to my car despite my attesting my car did not have these scratches on the center console prior to the car detailing. The owner became very rude and told me never to return to his business for my car's detailing services and ultimately told me he did not want my business after I attempted to plead with him to get my car repaired. He refused to fix the damages to my car that were incurred at Car Pro Auto Spa of Palm City. I am requesting they pay for the repair of my center console for which they scratched, potentially in the handling of the car with the car keys, while detailing my car and I am requesting a refund for the detailing they completed as my car was damaged while at their shop. I appreciate the support of the Better Business Bureau in obtaining this requested refund for the detailing of my car and in seeking repairs to my center console of my car which again was damaged while in the care of *** ************. Please see attached pictures documenting the damages to my vehicle.Business Response

This gentleman complained of some sort of mark or scratch on a piece of interior , my detailers and myself examined the area in question and we honestly kept looking at each other wondering why he was insisting there was any damage whatsoever ,he just kept insisting there was and we did not see what he was seeing ,he asked me to fix it and I asked fix what , it was a very strange 10 min. And also his car was in poor condition for a 2022 it had scratches on many parts of the vehicle,in fact for no charge my detailer removed the ones that were able to be removed . He kept mentioning "car keys" and insisting that's what caused the damage, "what damage " we both said more than enough times . I said to him do not bring your other car here for detailing as I do not feel comfortable with you .That is how it ended ,there was no other way to a resolve. And I was not rude he just did not like the word no.

I am rejecting this response because: The response of car pro of ********* is not accurate. The individual who detail the car did notate the scratches on the center consul of my new vehicle. The vehicle is in perfect condition and is not in a poor condition. The owner was shown pictures of the damage as his he indicated with his vision he was not able to see the damages incurred. The owner indicated he would attempt to repair the damages with a clearcoat but he wasnt sure that that would fix the issue. This statement indicates he is lying in his response to BBB. He was very rude and as you can see in the attached pictures previously provided and attached to this response there are scratches that were incurred at car pro auto at *********. We are asking for a full refund as we are very dissatisfied with the detailing services completed at car pro auto of *********. We would also like the car damages (scratches to the center consul) repaired. Thank you for your support in getting this matter resolved.
