Be weary of hiring Stay Hard Concrete for a job. While the completed concrete job was fine, there were a few bad issues I had. First, they did not clean up after themselves. There were places all over my yard where there were chunks and pieces of concrete that were sure to be a potential projectile missile if hit with the lawnmower (or ruined the lawnmower). Secondly, some of the workers left trash laying around, too. Like, I found a couple of empty drink bottles and a couple of other little things. Thirdly, when I brought this to ********'s attention, he said that he'd send some guys over to clean up the concrete pieces, which I was happy about. However, that never happened, and my nephew wound up cleaning it up for me. Lastly, ********, at the time of giving me the estimate as well as after they completed it, said that he would come back and lay sod around the border of the concrete. Well, that never happened. He said he was waiting for a shipment from a sod company or whatever. But, the job was completed on November 18th, and there is still no sod here. I texted ******** on December 11th, asking him about the sod. He said he couldn't control wait lists for the sod pallets. I told him thank you for telling me he was still waiting for it (even though I contacted him, not the reverse). So, I just contacted him again yesterday, and I got no response. At this point, I'm furious with him. I'm not an unreasonable woman. I only expect to be updated. It's been 2 months now, and the only contact I've had about this, I've contacted him for. But, each time I've reached out to him, I get no return response. So, I just want my neighborhood to know how this gentleman operates his business so you can make your own decisions on how you would handle things IF you decide to hire him. However, I would NOT recommend him. I have videos documenting the lack of cleanup and text messages with him, proving that I'm being honest regarding this.
