***************** contacted us four months after project completion and the signing of a certificate of completion.
We promptly revisited her property multiple times to address her concerns. Her primary concern was regarding her shoes; she did not mention any issues with her flooring during this initial contact.
Upon inspecting her shoes, we discovered that what appeared to be paint was, in fact, mud. Notably, her walls were beige, and the mud on her shoes had a green substance. We offered to clean them, but she declined, claiming her shoes were collectibles. We then requested a receipt, which she couldn't provide. Instead, she sent us a picture of a very different shoe and brand. Her insurance adjuster also confirmed that it was not the same item.
During this time, ***************** did not mention any flooring issues.
A few months later, she contacted us again with the same shoe complaint and added an issue with her staircase.
To ensure her satisfaction, we returned to her property and added extra glue to some of the steps for stability, addressing her concerns.
Again, she asserted that her shoes were damaged by paint, when we had already confirmed it was mud, despite this, we offered to pay for her shoes as a goodwill gesture.
It's important to note that during this phase, ***************** did not mention any flooring issues.
Regrettably, ***************** sent several racist text messages to one of our project managers. Nonetheless, we continued to make efforts to address her concerns.
She later requested compensation for a $10 shoe rack, and the shoes and even though we were not responsible for her shoes' condition, we offered $120 to close the claim, which she happily accepted. Unfortunately, we continued to receive racist text messages.
In the end, we addressed all of ********************* issues according to her requests and satisfaction, and her insurance adjuster confirmed that we had gone above and beyond to resolve the matter.
Notably, ***************** refused to allow the removal of blue tape on the staircase and continued to send racist text messages to our project manager.
While we thought everything was resolved when she accepted compensation for her shoes, if she has any further issues, she is welcome to contact us, and we will gladly work to resolve the problems.
Please note that according to our agreement with her insurance we provide a 5 years warranty on Labor and 1 year on Materials. If we were found liable for any workmanship issue her insurance company would have contacted us to address it and would have penalized us if we didnt do things according to our agreement.
