I had purchased a puppy through a company that uses Pet Care Solutions as a guarantee of a good bread dog. They are to cover the cost of any hereditary issues with the puppy. I filed a case with them in October of 2023 for a surgery for my puppy. They called me back 2 weeks later and told me that the case was approved and that I would be receiving the reimbursement of the surgery within 3 months. In January of 2024 I sent and email to inquire on the status of the funds. After a number of unanswered phone calls and a number of emails I received a call from from a manager telling me that she had received my email and wanted to let me know that she was looking into it, and that they were not a company that scammed people. She was getting in touch with the accounting department and would get back with me upon receiving info on my refund. A month later, no answer to the phone calls, not answer to the emails and no funds received. This was a cost of $2900.00, not a small amount. I have since then had to do another surgery of the same cost for another hereditary issue with my puppy. I am now heading into month 5 of what was supposed to be taken care of within 3 months.

At the time of purchase, the customer was given documents with important information, which includes information on our business's limited warranty for the customer. There are specific instructions for the customer in said documents, and requirements that must be followed for effectiveness of the limited warranty. Said instructions and requirements were not followed by the customer. The business has not done anything wrong, and has acted according to the limited warranty provided to the customer.
