      I had my concerns when the former property owners of 49th Street Apartments sold this property that we would get another slum landlord who would minimalize maintenance repairs and continued rental increases. I was fed up and ready to move because of lingering maintenance issues that had not been resolved before the new owners purchased it. I came to the office on guard and ready to fight, however I needed to, just to get what was due to me as a renter. To my surprise, I was met with ***** promises to make things right. Anticipating being lied to and deceived as my former *************************** had been because they did not want to invest in desperately needed repairs or half-done maintenance. When I shared my experience and frustrations with the new ************************************ and Maintenance staff they immediately stepped into action. They began strategizing on how they would make things right, getting my time frames to be engaged in the maintenance scheduling according to my availability, and putting into motion to immediately rectify the wrongs, right. The Management and Maintenance Team went above and beyond what I expected them to do. Taking their personal time to add a special touch to my personal property which had been damaged for flawed maintenance repairs from a burst pipe in January 2025. Knowing that I had just suffered a financial loss they did everything outside replacing my damaged items. I was left feeling that they truly care about their tenants by meeting the concerns of their tenants. I have grown confident that I could now make this my permanent home. I felt confident that my new Management and Maintenance Team cared for me and met my needs. I have had other issues arise and they continue to show me that they are right there to meet my needs and concerns. Thank you for being the amazing team that you have been.

      They used my credit card without my permission. Then tried to add more charges after this first case if fraud. They lady ***** who used my card without my permission wrote a stipulation which we agreed to. Then they fired her because of it, took me and my fianc signature from the original stipulation and copied and applied it to another stipulation we had no idea about. We also gave ghem checks for two months rent due to us missing a month because of covid. Out of nowhere we had an eveiction notice. They never applied the checks to our accounts, hadbthem sitting in a draw in their office. We had to cal the judge to get a new case presented the evidence of fraud and won. They never took of the charges the judge ordered them to. In fact they added more and sent my account to collections. Which i had removed due to fraudulent activity. Im currently looking for a lawyer to *** them. That place 49the street apartments is a scam. You cant even reach management because they are not even in *******. They are in ****** yes the ***********. Stay FAR AWAY, matter of fact RUN. The worst apartment complex i have ever lived in. I want my money and to be compensated for what they out me and my family through.

      Well they are lying because i have evidence of the fraud they committed. And have given them to the credit bureaus. Which in turn removed the depth due to fraudulent activity. You Lso took our signature off of the ageed stipulation and copied and paced it onto another stipulation we knew nothing about. Thats also fraud.

      Modern day slum lords. Most of these reviews on google is people who toured the property, pay attention to the reviews from people who actually live there. Probably the worst management in place I have ever seen in apartments and CHEAP! First off the owners live in Israel, so whenever you have a problem, good luck getting it fixed. Roach infestation, make sure you have a bug guy with you or check in places where you know they are when you’re touring the unit. They will never give you direct answers of why things are happening or the reasons behind it, manager will be consistently spun in circles to get answers. They will give you written, notices or call the cops on you if they don’t like what you’re asking or why are certain things not getting done versus others. You are telling me… You’re gonna put in benches around the property, pour concrete, put a Pet park up, all of these amenities, but we fail to understand the lack of priority. Wouldn’t you rather have a Community with closed gates versus little improvements from time to time? Constant turnover of staff. Maintenance can’t speak English. (You have to point and shake you head if you don’t speak Spanish) They hired a trash valet company that never comes out anymore. They don’t care about their residence or their safety, the gates are completely open with no intentions to be fixed per the managers words, and the cameras barely work. The grounds of the property is not the best, always trash on the ground, duck **** on the sidewalk, dog ****, all over. It’s an open gate community, with this area there is always homeless people walking around the areas, and using the swimming pools. Can you start to see how cheap the company who owns these apartments are? They cut grass on one side of the property every two weeks, how *** backward is that? Why not cut the entire property in one go? The manager has very little competence when it comes around handling problems and coming up with solutions.

      I’ve lived here for 2 years. Moved from unit to another. All I can say is this is the perfect place to live if: - you love a roach infested unit - no access to the laundry facilities - leasing team with no knowledge on what to do when things go wrong - no working hot water - no working ac - paying for pest control that supposedly comes regularly but never does - pay $75 a month for stainless steel appliances even though the property is the one that installed it before you moved in - continuously seeing new people in the leasing office - dirty pools - dog poop everywhere - maintenance that doesn’t communicate with you or fix anything If those are things you’re looking for when renting, then 49th St Apartments is the perfect place for you!!! If you’re able to, and know better, RUN FROM THIS PROPERTY.

      My daughter in building 800 has been dealing with her ac freezing up for over 6 months now and it's occurring 5 to 6 times a week . They send maintenance who can not speak a word of English to her unit they let it unthaw add freon say your food. 2 days later the freon leaks out and it's all over again and again. They scheduled 2 times this week then did not show and reschedules. Started the job at 9 this morning it's 4:07 and 86 degrees in the apt and the maintenance men left over 40 mins ago and still has not returned. My daughter went down there to complain the lady in the office threatened to give her a write up because she was complaining. I called and spoke with the women. And I am ac certified the best cert you can carry and of your experienced it should not take 7 hours to exchange a air handler AND THEN THEY LEAVE FOR OVER 40 MINS DOING OTHER maintenance issues instead of finishing up my ac. I pay 1700.00 a month for this apartment and it is no where near worth the .only or the headache from the office personal. The property management comoa y might want to rethink who they have running this property. I have 14 years as a maintenance Supervisor for large communities and I k ow this is not how they run. If the office writes her up for wanting her ac working and it being 86 in an apt she pays 1700.00 for then I will co tact my lawyer and we will start the legal process of breaking the lease due to the Apartments ot holding up to there lease. I know the laws on ac in orida in the appt business and not once when there unit froze all them times did they put a Porta le u ot in they had to stay there in the heat. I have been around these apartments and they was dumps a.d getto as **** but the budings and grounds have Improved quite a bit it's seems the office perso al are as bad as the people who ran it when it was a dump. I emailed cooperate last month with no reply. Hope you fix your community efore you start losing all your food residents
