I bought a sofa and love seat in April, they had to replace the love seat in May as material was shredding. Material on sofa started shredding and now has a hole in it. They said that they would not replace even though I paid extra for extended warranty. Very cheap furniture with a high priceKane's Furniture Response

We have reviewed our customers comments regarding the ******************** purchased with our company. We are sorry to hear that a problem is being experienced. Kanes Furniture LLC warrants to the original purchaser at the original delivery site that the merchandise is to be free from defects in workmanship under normal use and conditions for one year from the date of delivery.
An inspection was performed on the sofa, confirming the reported issue is non-vendor related and is not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. BUYER BEWARE. First of all, interesting that their website only shows good ratings. I bought various items, including a $335.00 floor lamp. The lamp was defective. The shaft is supposed to be soldered to the base, and it popped out, so the lamp wont stay up. Their technician came to my house and CONFIRMED that the lamp was defective. Kanes refused to replace the lamp because its an accessory, and they only issue replacements on furniture, even when their accessories are defective. Moreover, when I made the purchase, I also bought an armchair, and paid $159.00 for delivery AND assembly. When the armchair was delivered, instead of assembling the chair, the delivery guy gave my mother instructions on how to assemble the armchair, and did not even took it out of the box. He said: You only need to slide the back on the chair and thats it. Yeah, I could have figured out that by myself without having to pay for assembly service.Kane's Furniture Response

Since the furniture order, which included a floor lamp, an armchair, and four side chairs, was delivered to a rental storage facility on February 27, 2024, it appears the purchaser of the furniture gave our delivery staff instructions to leave it in the factory packing. We would gladly impose the $39.99 no contact delivery fee and reimburse the purchaser the difference given the furniture was only delivered and not assembled. Finally, there is no warranty covering accessories. We are sorry to hear that a weld broke on the floor lamp, and as a gesture of goodwill, Kane's Furniture LLC. will agree to an exchange of the floor lamp as a one-time courtesy.

sorely diappointed in salesperson who promised & swore our leather 2-seater would come in a smooth white, not like the nubby showroon chair. We got rid of our existing furniture to make room for our delivery only to get a nubby white 2-seater. Called the customer service supervisor who said she was sorry but couldn't do anything. Was told we could refuse delivery but that would leave us with no-where to sit forcingt us to take delivery of the nubby white. Also, one seat is not as full as the other (seems to dip in center). We paid a substantal amount of cash ($2,000) up front and the supervisor said it would take several weeks to get it back if we refused the delivery, which would leave us with nothing to sit on. Totally disappointed with Kanes Furniture and discusted with the useless salesperson. Never again!

Our experience at this store was dismal to say the least. Salesman mislead us on fabric which was not discovered until delivery at which time the 2 seats had different firmness. A call at that time to the manager of the store brought no fix except to say "I'm sorry". My husband called the Head Quarters explained to a customer service rep named ******************** who looked at the pictures on file and PROMPTLY agreed to our seat problem & ARRANGED for it to be replaced within 2 days, which it WAS!! My faith in Kanes Furniture has been renewed due to ********'s help.Kane's Furniture Response

Kanes is never happy to learn that our guest has had a less than perfect experience.
Leather is a natural product created by the tanning of animal rawhide. Just as no two people look alike,different variations show up on the leather surface. For example, branding marks, scratches, and abrasions caused by barbed wire are natural. Grain patterns and wrinkles are also natural characteristics. Skin shading variations are perfectly normal and are not defects, but proof that this is truly a natural, one-of-a-kind product.
Management spoke with our consumer, who expressed his concern that one side of the two-piece reclining loveseat also felt under stuffed. In an effort to address his concern, Kanes Furniture LLC gave the option to return the loveseat and choose an alternative. But Mr. *** has chosen to accept an equal exchange of the loveseat in its place. We believe this matter has been addressed, and our consumer is now satisfied.Review from Sarah W

I bought a dresser from the ******** location (*************************************************) and chose pickup. However, after 20 weeks, I realized the dresser was missing 4 legs, even though it had legs in the store. Additionally, the provided carpet was used, emitted an unpleasant odor, and had a sticky texture, exacerbating my asthma. Despite my request for a replacement due to health concerns, they refused and abruptly ended the conversation.Kane's Furniture Response

The merchandise in question,namely the dresser and area rug, were originally purchased "as is" from our showroom floor on December 30, 2023. As per our terms of sale, merchandise sold under these conditions is not eligible for exchange, allowance refund, or service. It's important to note that all merchandise sold "as is"comes with no guarantees, either stated or implied. Our consumers have ample time to inspect items before taking possession of them. In this instance,the stated issues were reported to our offices three weeks after the consumer had taken ownership of the merchandise. Very disappointing experience! I purchased a bedroom set in December 2022 from Kanes. When the delivery guys brought it in, there was a small knick in one of the dresser drawers. I was going to refuse delivery but they said to call the service department and it could easily be corrected. I called and they sent a guy out who said he had to order the paint. I called once a week for three months and kept getting the runaround about the paint hadnt come in and blah blah blah. I finally gave up and its now been a calendar year and no one ever contacted me to follow up. I just bought a large amount of furniture for the rest of the house and thankfully it was not from Kanes. In January 2023 we bought a beautiful sectional sofa. December 2023. we noticed termite droppings on our floor we called our bug guy out he pulled the lining on sectional at the point where we saw the droppings. He looked in the sectional and informed me the it was infested with termites. I called the store January 10 **** and spoke to a manager by the name of Que I was informed today that cause we bought the floor model as is that they will not do anything for us. I will never recommend Kanes to anyone. We thought we was getting a floor model but never thought it would filled with termites. We are so upset about this. Have not even had it for a year and now we will have to buy another sofa NOT FROM KANES FURNITUREReview from C. R.

We purchased a loveseat from Kanes. It was a power loveseat and they claimed that the furniture had a lifetime guarantee. We also paid for the fabric protection and they told us that free solution was always available at the customer service desk. NOT SO. We are Snowbirds and we're looking forward to this loveseat lasting us untill we were no longer able to come south. The motor broke and they were going to replace it. Apparently the manufacture no long stocks this item. Kanes offered to take the loveseat back and to give us an instore credit at 25% the cost of our loveseat. I fount the replacement on Amazon and it will be delivered in 2 days. The Kanes employee said Kanes policy had changed from lifetime warranty to 10 years. I did not get the notice. This was at Kanes in Clearwater. They would not even pay for the motor that I located. They have lost me as a customer. It is stores like this who force the consumer to stop shopping local. Buyers beware.

We acknowledge our customer's feedback and apologize for any misunderstanding about the "Guarantee for Life" warranty promotion, which was discontinued March 2017.
The lifetime warranty states,If a covered defect arises after ten (10) years from the date of the original purchase, you shall be *********** receive 25% of the purchase price for the furniture in the form of in-store credit.
A motor in the loveseat purchased in December 2011 stopped operating, requiring a replacement.Unfortunately, the part is no longer available from the furniture manufacturer.
Therefore, we offered our consumer a 25% in-store credit for the return of the loveseat, but our consumer declined and is pursuing purchasing online an aftermarket component. The loveseat would be deemed altered, and the warranty would be nullified.
Our goal is to provide the best possible service to our consumers, and we appreciate the feedback.Customer Response

Perhaps better customer service would have been to advise customers who purchased prior to MARCH 2017 that the "Lifetime Warranty was now reduced to 10 years. The Service Technician had informed us that the motor was covered under our warranty.Review from K. D.

My experience with Kanes Furniture has been a total nightmare. I bought a Lazy Boy sofa and love seat. My salesperson was ***********************, I told him I was leaving next week for two months. He assured me they could deliver it the following Thursday and after checking with two 3rd party delivery people trying to have them delivered sooner, I had to wait until Thursday. When the set was delivered the arm on the sofa was all messed up and there was a big hole in the cushion. The next day Friday I went to Kanes *** said all he could do with a big smile is put it in the computer and maybe *** could help, but, she had already left for the day. I left the store and on my way home I received a call from a person called ***. when I answered he was SCREAMING that they were delivering it on Tuesday or not replacing it at all. I asked if they could have a 3rd party delivery service deliver it sooner. He said they didnt use 3rd party delivery services. I told him **** called two when I purchased them and **** flipped out SCREAMING I was calling him a liar. I had to hang up on him as he was so irate. He called back telling me I had two choices, either accept Tuesday delivery or they would send a repair person, when I returned. So I had to pay him $125.00 again to move the furniture. They set up a delivery time of 7:00am to 10: am. I called as my condominium association doesnt allow deliveries before 8:00am. They rescheduled the delivery for 11:00am to 2:00pm. I was surprised when they called at 7:30am to say the truck was on its way. Again I told them they couldnt deliver before 8:am. They arrived at 8:05am. I had rented a car to drive one way to ***** and had to postpone for one day at a charge to me of $85.00. I had to cancel my first night in the hotel and they charged me for the full night $232.89 for last minute cancellation. I couldnt believe *** called to tell me he was able to save me $70.00 dollars. Your incompetence and rudeness cost me $442.89 and your screaming at me was totally unprofessional. Kanes recognizes they arent providing good service by the fact that no executive is able to be contacted by any means. Sadly I didnt know what poor merchandise Kanes sells.. I can only post everywhere I can on line and share the expensive ****** I learned. The entire nightmare has shown the importance of researching a company before you buy. Im glad I brought it to your attention, but, your empty words doesnt get me my loss of $452.89 back
