    Virgin Voyages offered healthier food choices than other liners that my wife and I have traveled and I thank Virgin for that. The rooms were clean. The day pass to the spa was well worth the money. My wife and I enjoyed the day pass that was only 79 dollars. The ship is a beautiful and sporty looking. their app was good but maybe needs some improvements.. Virgin's private beach at Bimini Island is awesome. They put on a great pool party for us. They grilled food especially Caribbean style food which was excellent. We loved Virgin and we highly recommend traveling on Virgin Voyages.

    I am writing this review, because my experience on Virgin Voyages was greatly impacted by the level of comfort I experienced in my cabin. I recently sailed on a booking in March, and my room was located on the 8th deck of the Scarlet Lady (8236M). I did not know that my room would be assigned above the Manor, which hosts various themed club nights and events. The noise and bass from the music kept me awake until 2:00am-3:00am every night. This in turn caused me to wake up later than planned, and caused me to be late to an excursion that I booked. My plans of starting my day early on most mornings were derailed due to being so drowsy in the morning after being kept awake.

    I am filing this complaint to express my deep disappointment and frustration with Virgin Voyages cruise line due to their unfair pricing practices. I booked a Virgin Voyages cruise well in advance, under the impression that early booking would secure the best fare for a premium experience. However, as the sailing date approached, Virgin Voyages significantly reduced their prices in an apparent attempt to fill unsold cabins. These last-minute, low-ball fares were often half the price that I and other early bookers paid.For individuals like myself who work hard, save, and plan ahead, it is extremely disappointing to see that Virgin Voyages pricing strategy actively penalizes loyal, early-booking customers. This approach feels like a blatant disregard for those who put their trust and money into the company by booking early. In essence, we are being forced to pay double for the exact same experience, while last-minute bookers benefit from significantly reduced fares.Virgin Voyages has marketed itself as a luxury, customer-focused cruise line. However, their pricing tactics do not align with the fair and transparent business practices they promote. This is not a question of competition or supply and demand but a fundamental lack of fairness. Other cruise lines employ price-matching guarantees or offer loyalty incentives to acknowledge and respect early bookings; Virgin Voyages does none of this.I am requesting that Virgin Voyages re-evaluate their pricing policies to ensure that all customers are treated equitably. Early bookers should not be penalized for planning ahead and supporting the brand. Until such changes are made, I believe others should be aware of these questionable practices before considering their hard-earned money and time with Virgin Voyages.

    Terrible customer service, defensive and not helpful. I sent an email, and no one contacted as promise. Too expensive for low grade customer service. STAY AWAY FROM ********************** (NO CUSTMER SERVICE) VOYAGE.

    Absolutely traumatic horrific experience. I was put into involuntary isolation for simply having a panic attack. I broke no rules, there was no violence, public intoxication, or any sailor conduct codes broken for that matter. I was simply medically discriminated against, and locked in a room for three days. I have many witnesses who could speak on my behalf. I have reached out to the company via email with specific details of my extremely traumatic experience and have not gotten a reply.

    Absolute worst experience ever. I purchased Virgin cruise as I have never cruised with them before. When purchasing the cruise, there was a promotion to receive up to $300 on board bar tab and you could view eligible sailings for that promotion. I booked a cruise that came up under that promotion as it came with a bar tab and a brand new ship. The ship has now been switched and they are not honoring the bar tab. I called in and was told that the ship was not eligible as listed in the terms and conditions even though it came up under the promotional search. The only reason I booked this cruise was because of the promotion and the new ship and now neither of these are eligible. I have cruised with 5 other cruise companies and have nothing but great customer service and they go above and beyond to make their customers happy, where Virgin is willing to completely ruin a first time customer over their website not being clear.

    The virgin voyager cruise is a joke. It's not adult themed like they suggest. I spent alot of money I took on the scarlet lady. My room service was messed up a few times and still got charged delivery fees, when the ship is at port there is nothing to do on the ship. While at sea there were very little adult theme things to so. They don't an ounce events so quite a few missed out on the few good events they had. Every thing gets sold out quick and they don't offer another class. I went to the sailor services manager and she didn't even address my concerns. I asked for some money back from this cruise as I did not have a good time nor did I feel it was worth the money. I have reached out to corporate and have not heard back. My next step will be a bbb complaint.

    Virgin Voyages was my first cruise ever and it was one of THE WORST experiences of my life. I don’t think I can ever get on a cruise again. It is so unfortunate because I was so excited for the trip and to celebrate my bf’s birthday. Their social media pages show how they pay influencers to make them look good because they need help. We ate at one of the cruise's restaurants called “Test Kitchen” our first night. The next night we started feeling chills. We woke up the following morning and were SUPER sick. Headache, bad stomach ache, chills, bowel issues, etc. Kept going to the bathroom and literally couldn’t get out of bed/leave our room. We missed Mexico and our excursion as well as several activities for TWO WHOLE DAYS. We paid for this experience and missed out on A LOT. The medical team never tested us and made us quarantine and on top of that – the customer service has been HORRIBLE. We were never refunded for everything we missed. We couldn’t enjoy this cruise to the fullest like we were hoping to when we first booked. My bf’s birthday was ruined. Peoples’ anniversaries were ruined. Virgin Voyages only offered us a credit so we can use it for a future Virgin Voyages cruise. After this kind of HORRIBLE experience, who the heck would want to get on another cruise with them? I want our money back. How can we trust a cruise that fed us food that made us super sick? Some people had to be hospitalized! They could’ve killed someone. How dare they offer us a credit just so we can spend more money that’ll go back to their horrible services? I am so disappointed and it’s a huge letdown from a company that I had faith in. I will NEVER RECOMMEND Virgin Voyages to anyone. I regret getting on their cruise in the first place. If the customer service was better and we were refunded our money, then I would be a little more forgiving. But this whole experience has showed how they don’t want to take accountability for a problem they caused and cannot solve. ***** ON THEM.

    I was supposed to go on a European cruise for our anniversary. Our Delta flight cancelled due to weather,so we rebooked for the next day, and they cancelled again! We tried another airline and they cancelled. the flights were full cause of the cancellations. I took out the insurance that Virgin offered. I called Virgin to tell them what was going on that we would not be able to make the cruise. Virgin responded with "sorry" and you will have to cancel your trip to get your money back so I did what I was told! I contacted the insurance company Aon that was handling the claim. I sent in all documentation and letter from airline. I was denied the claim, I called them numerous times wanting an explanation even called Virgin! This is a scam they take your money you pay for insurance and don't cover cancellations! I was so upset ! I called Virgin back and spoke with supervisor and told them what was going on! Virgin did not care that we could not make the cruise! I asked for a credit and they will not give me a credit because I cancelled the cruise! I said." your representative told me to cancel it ! I said," this is all recorded and she did not care! I am our $5000.00 ! This is the worst company! I will never book a cruise with Virgin again! They also do not return emails! the worst customer service !

    10/08/2023 This was my first and will be my last VIRGIN cruise. The day of embarkation very excited to experience the Rock Star Suite and treatment. I also booked a room for my son and his long time girlfriend. We'll boarded the ship Sunday 10/08/23 at around 2pm from Miami. We ate lunch and I ate in the Galley, Benton Box. The later that night we all attended The Test Kitchen, went downhill from there. The next morning I was beyond sick and toughed it out until Tuesday when I went to the medical center. Gave me some meds for my illness and then learned that several other people came down with the same illness. So Virgin gave me my excursion money back and waived the medical fee, yet have not eaten in 5 days. The rest of the voyage was horrific for all in our party was starved and no food available. Our Rock Star Agent Lazar came by a room 3 times the entire cruise, that's it. **** AND ****** were are room stewards and these ladies were awesome. Virgin Sailor services didn't offer us anything as compensation or at least to refund me some money back for this cruise. Today is 10/14/23 and we are now home and we are all extremely dehydrated and ill still. ?? I am shocked that Virgin wouldn't even refund us a portion of what we paid for the cruise for we hardly left our room, went to 2 shows, and never got off the ship at any ports. To state this was a terrible experience is in fact an understatement.
