I orderd a product from Amazon through third party which is Skar audio. The packaged was claimed to have been delivered December 1st they told me to report the issue to my bank but my bank cant help because its not fraud I asked for either the speaker or refund I honestly forgot about the situation and let time slip by I work full time and Im a single dad with 2 kids I was looking over my purchases through Amazon when I realized I never even got a refund or replacement I contacted them again and they just keep saying the same thing over and over I called Amazon and they hanged up on me twice today already Im just really frustrated and need help the name of the item is Skar Audio EVL-10 D2 10" 2000 Watt ********* Dual 2 OhmBusiness response

On November 28, 2023, ******************** placed an order for (2) Used EVL-10 D2 subwoofers with Skar Audio. The product was promptly shipped out via **** with tracking number 1Z6W35120391103598.
According to *** records, on December 1, 2023, the package was successfully delivered to the address provided by ******************** during checkout, as confirmed by picture proof of delivery. However, on December 2, 2023, ******************** contacted Skar Audio, stating that the package had not been received.
In response, Skar Audio acted swiftly and filed a claim with *** on ************************ behalf as a gesture of goodwill. Despite our efforts, *** denied the claim. We understand that this outcome may not meet ************************ expectations; however, it is important to note that Skar Audio is unable to refund or reship orders that have been confirmed as delivered to the correct address.
We want to express our appreciation to both the BBB and ******************** for their attention to this matter. We value your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns.

I purchased a Skar Audio Dual 12" 5000W Loaded EVL Series Vented Subwoofer Enclosure | EVL-2X12D4 from amazon for the price of $577.99. A week after being professionally installed the system was burnt out and no longer functioning. I contacted **** who told me to take photos of the equipment which I provided. At first they never indicated the product would be returned. The system was disposed of due to almost catching itself on fire. I no longer have the system and **** refuses to further assist me.Business response

On 3/10/24, ************************ contacted Skar Audio regarding a refund or replacement for a product purchased directly from Amazon. In response, Skar Audio promptly informed ************************ that for a refund, she would need to contact Amazon's customer support directly. However, ********************** assured her that if she sought warranty assistance, we would be more than willing to help.
************************ then expressed interest in receiving upgraded equipment in lieu of the items purchased from Amazon. Skar Audio proposed exploring the warranty option for her existing items and requested photos of the setup to better assess the issue. Upon receiving the images, Skar Audio provided ************************ with a pre-paid shipping label to send the items in for evaluation under our warranty policy.
Regrettably, ************************ later informed Skar Audio that all the equipment had been discarded. According to our warranty policy, Skar Audio requires the return of the product(s) seeking replacement. As such, Skar Audio is unable to proceed with replacing the items for ************************.

Despite this, Skar Audio made diligent efforts to reach out to ******************* on multiple occasions until finally establishing contact on 2/27/24 during business hours.
During this conversation, Skar Audio informed ******************* that they are encouraged to reach out to us directly via phone or email during business hours for assistance with any checkout errors. I ordered skar audio speakers in November of last year. Last month I removed my speaker from the box to find out why it was sounding off and noticed the metal frame was pulling from the speaker. I've emailed and called Skar audio on numerous occassions regarding this and have had no response from the company at all. I purchased an 18 Skar Audio speaker from Tint World and Tint World closed down after the pandemic started, with a note on their door apologizing to its customers. Once they reopened under new ownership almost a year after that, they told ** customers with warranties on our our purchased, products to contact Skar Audio! I have reached out to Skar multiple times and finally was able to EMAIL a human at Skar because theres no contact number, and they tell me they cant do anything without proof of purchase! I have no clue where to even look for that. Its not my fault the business closed down after Covid-19 hit and it still hasnt been resolved! I will never recommend Skar Audio to anyone! This is the third time now one of my speakers have a coil blown. All have been successfully replaced except this one. I also have emails from when I first tried to contact **** and got no response from them at all.Business response

On 4/29/2023 at 3:06 PM EST, ********************** contacted Skar Audio via email in reference to an issue she was experiencing with a Skar Audio product. Skar Audio responded promptly to ************************** email on 4/29/2023 at 3:51 PM EST, requesting a valid proof of purchase to verify the two-year warranty on the product. ********************** then responded to Skar Audio stating that she had moved and is no longer in possession of the original proof of purchase from her local car audio shop. Skar Audio informed ********************** that without valid proof of purchase, Skar Audio is unable to review or replace items under warranty. From here, *** ********* proceeded to tell ** that she was going to open up a Better Business Bureau complaint. Nevertheless, Skar Audio still assured ********************** that if she located the original proof of purchase, Skar Audio can then validate the two-year warranty and explore options to have the item replaced. I bought a speaker from ****************** last week. It was bad so i am trying to get it warrantied or refunded. I contacted ********** and told them about my problem and they told me id have to contact Skar Audio the subwoofer maker to start a warranty claim with them(Skar Audio) that they (**********) liquidated all there Skar Audio merchandise. *********** told me to go through skar and **** is telling me that i have to ********** warranty it. I have screenshots of both conversations. I even called ********** and they assured me that skar was to handle the warranty. They are giving me the run around on a $200 speaker. I wish i never had ever bought anything from both companies. Skar is blaming ********** and ********** is blaming skar and neither will help me. Per Skar Audio's Warranty Policy, items purchased from ********** are ineligible to be reviewed or replaced under warranty. As a courtesy, Skar Audio called and emailed ************** to make an exception to our policy and explore options to assist him. However, ************** never responded to Skar Audio.
Skar Audio never shies away from assisting loyal customers and ************** is no exception. On multiple occasions, Skar Audio has assisted ************** with warrantying equipment that ************** purchased directly from Skar Audio.

Dear BBB and ******************, Thank you for taking the time to bring this issue to our attention via the Better Business Bureau. On 10/31/2022 ****************** contacted Skar Audio via email in reference to an issue he was experiencing with a Skar Audio product. Skar Audio then proceeded to ask ****************** for a valid proof of purchase/itemized receipt because Skar Audio was unable to locate a previous order history with the contact Information ****************** provided. ****************** then responded to Skar Audio and stated that the audio shop that he purchased the equipment from refused to assist him with his warranty because the issue was not a result of an incorrect installation or factory defect. As a courtesy, Skar Audio is willing to assist ****************** with this out of policy warranty, however, ****************** refuses to contact the audio shop to acquire a copy of his itemized receipt. Skar Audio went as far as contacting the audio shop to acquire the proof of purchase, however, Skar Audio has yet to receive confirmation from the shop. Regardless, per Skar Audio's policy, ***************************** equipment does not constitute as a valid warranty. Dear BBB and ******************, Thank you for allowing Skar Audio the opportunity to address ********************** response rejection via the Better Business Bureau. Again, per Skar Audio's policy ********************** items are ineligible to be reviewed or replaced under Skar Audio's Warranty Policy. This was made clear when ****************** stated via email that the Authorized Dealer refused to replace his equipment under warranty. The reason for this is due to the fact that all Skar Audio Authorized Dealer's carefully install and tune the equipment to ensure that they are being utilized within their intended specifications. The Authorized Dealer's refusal to warranty the equipment indicates that ****************** was using the equipment outside of the recommended specifications after the installation. For reference, Skar Audio has attached a screenshot of the aforementioned warranty policy. Bought a Amplifier Wiring Kit from SKAR. The outcome at **** to me is unsatisfactory and I do not agree to send the item back. I seek a partial refund as this amp kit is not oxygen free copper. This is what I sent them to talk about the issue. I do not want to return item. Somehow the system took me to return item when all I wanted to do is contact you 1st. The item cones out as "NEW AUDIO ******** GAUGE **** WATT OFC AMPLIFIER WIRING KIT W RCA (AL4-CCA-KIT)" but at the same time the *** is "AL-AL4-OFC-KIT" which indicates all ofc and contradicts "(AL4-CCA-KIT)."The cut of the power wire indicates it CCA. The description says its "All Wire Included is 100% Oxygen-Free ******." Furthermore, in the description, the statements indicate the amp kit to be "100% ofc." The box and wire in the pic, bar code on box say its ofc. This item will not tolerate **** *****.They responded the item is made in *****; however, how they post it is extremely misleading and conniving. They have no intention of resolving the issue and not having others fall for the same thing.Note to BBB....I have not extended my phone payment and currently have no phone service.Business response

Thank you for taking the time to bring this issue to our attention via the Better Business Bureau. ********************** purchased an AL-AL1200.1D Amplifier and AL-AL4-OFC-KIT through **** on 10/15/2022. Both these products are not manufactured by Skar Audio, however, Skar Audio occasionally fulfills order on the manufacturer's behalf. ********************** contacted Skar Audio via ****'s messaging platform on 10/21/2022 stating that the AL-AL4-OFC-KIT did not meet the proper expectation and a return for a refund was then initiated on ****'s platform. Skar Audio then provided ********************** with a pre-paid shipping label and packing slip to return the item for a full refund. Skar Audio did not receive further communication from ********************** until this BBB complaint was filed. Skar Audio then proceeded to contact ********************** on 10/25/2022 through ****'s messaging platform to reach a resolution. I placed on order online back in February of this year. The shipper used fedex to ship the package to me. There was a mistake made by fedex and the package was never received. I have countless emails between me and skar concerning this issue. Finally after months of negotiating fedex reimbursed me for my lost package but sent the money to the shipper because they are the ones that filed in my behalf. The funds were paid on June 14th. Skar did not contact me letting me know about this reimbursement. After emailing them about this their reply was that I should get with my financial institution and try to get them to reimburse me. Skar not only kept my money from the original purchase but also kept the fedex reimbursement. They've been paid twice and refused to send me my money back. Please help. There is no working phone number to contact them. Only email. I am disgusted by their means of doing business.Business response

Skar Audio has conducted a thorough review of your shipment in regards to Order # XXXXXXXXXX with Skar Audio for (2) SPX-65C, (1) RP-150.4AB, (1) SKvX-XXXX.1D & (1) ZVX-15v2 D1. The FedEx proof of delivery for these shipments (Tracking #: XXXXXXXXXXXX, XXXXXXXXXXXX & XXXXXXXXXXXX) indicates that the items arrived on 2/24/2022 at 10:15 AM and were signed for by Mr. ***** *****. The shipments were sent with a Direct Signature Required designation which FedEx states "FedEx obtains a signature from someone at the delivery address. If no one is at the address, we reattempt delivery." on their website as to the requirements surrounding the handling of these specially designated deliveries. In an investigation initially completed by FedEx on 5/23/2022, FedEx confirmed that the driver was at the correct location at the time of delivery. In the proof of delivery provided to Skar Audio, Inc by FedEx, there was a signature on record. Skar Audio, Inc takes the delivery of our customer's purchases very seriously which is why we use tools such as having a package signed for delivery to ensure that there is no question at the time of delivery. Based on the information provided to Skar Audio, records indicate that the packages were initially delivered successfully and to the correct party on record. Unfortunately, Skar Audio does not provide refunds or replacements for any item(s) that show verified as delivered correctly with signature confirmation. However, Skar Audio was notified by FedEx that one of the three claims was overturned on 7/7/22, at which time FedEx paid out Skar Audio $131.95 on a $1,518.03 order. Despite the other two claims still being denied, Skar Audio offered to reship the entire order to Mr. ***** ***** as a courtesy. Skar Audio has yet to receive a response from Mr. ***** *****. Skar Audio appreciates the time of the BBB and Mr. ***** ***** in regards to this matter and the opportunity to address the investigation conducted into this shipment.
