Absolute horrible service, Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Have filed multiple complaints with our Property Management, with no resolution. I have weeks worth of video that I am about to take to the media. If you are looking for a reputable pool cleaning service, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

Tenant has repeatedly called into the office to complain about issues such as technicians not being friendly enough or dancing while cleaning pool or just playing around and everyone lacks customer service. We require our techs to take multiple photos of the process of cleaning the pool each visit (address on home, whole pool before cleaning, whole pool after cleaning, photos showing it being vacuumed, brushed, skimmed, baskets empty, chemical test kit). Tenant has stated she has video showing full cleaning not being done but has failed to provide any footage to us after multiple requests. We have been forced to reach out to her management company because of the harassment by her to our technicians and office staff. Additionally, we have changed her technician multiple times to appease her, however, she is continually harassing every technician that comes to her house and has gone as far as running after the tech when he was in his truck and banging on his window. We are contracted to provide weekly pool cleaning at her rental home and we have done so every week along with providing weekly photos/updates to her management company for their review as well.
Thank you,

I have videos of your techs not fulfilling their obligations to your customers. Please reach out to me if you care to see them. We have resolved the issue with the property company as we are no longer using this company. Hopefully others will be able to get the same results for the lack of service that they are getting with Clear Tech.Review fromWanda H

1 starI called Clear Tech for a Pool drain and wash quote with a new pump and installation. ****** quoted me $1275 to drain and clean and refill with all chemicals needed. My pool was effected by Hurricane ******. It has a lot of salt water and sewage My pump no longer worked. She quoted me $2095 for a Pentair Superflo 1.5 HP and installation. I requested to have the pump raised a foot. She said we can do that by adding Cynder Blocks and a standard hallow concrete stand. At the end of our 53 minute phone call. She said the total cost would be $3296.00. I figured that was the total cost for everything. But she charged me $3296 just for the pump and installation. Mind you, this is a $1400 pump. I have been totally ripped off and still have not had my pool drained. After reading all these reviews I feel the need to go with another company. Also, I would call almost everyday for two weeks, waiting on anyone to call me back to let me know when the drain will happen. Every phone call Made, with the exception of the last one, she or no one ever called me back. Then one day ,I get a Text that my Discover card was charged $3296.00. I have enough loss with my home flooding. Out of pocket cost for all this $100,000! damage at my house. I want to be credited back. There is no way I would want to pay $2000 for a pool pump installation.Review fromRobert D

continued worst service experience. Installed all new pump and major overhaul 1.5 years ago. Horrible service then and unfortunately continues. Pump stopped working, Clear Tech claimed it's not covered by warranty (sb 3 years) wanted $2000 to repair or $3400 to replace. Called manufacturer, contractor never registered it for warranty, got it covered and another company to repair. NEVER USE CLEAR TECH! THEY ARE AWFUL!Clear Tech Pools

Per our conversation with ************************ this was a simple misunderstanding. The pump was under warranty and was repaired one day after his phone call. The customer was very understanding and appreciated our quick response.Review fromSlavica B

Never in my life have I had to deal with kids is a pool cleaner, they keep sending this kid named Chris. Chris keeps leaving my filter cap loose and I keep losing water about 6 to 10 in, this has happened twice already. They stay on their phone the whole time, they take their pictures for the company, and you literally have to beg them to clean the pool filter for you. These people do not train their tecs... Do Not HireClear Tech Pools
Date: 01/03/2024
During 12/20 cleaning the technician cleaned the filter element and left the pressure relief open by accident, a job was booked for the technician to return as soon as we were made aware of the issue and a technician returned to correct this, while on site the technician was confronted by the tenants teenage son who began screaming and shouting at him so the technician left after addressing the issue with the pressure relief. The pool is blue and clear without any issues (picture attached from last cleaning), this tenant has been known to ask for her filter to be cleaned weekly, I have reached out to the PM and explained that the element does not need to be cleaned weekly as this can cause wear and tear on the element itself as well as the filter o ring and that technicians base their filter cleanings based off of pressure gauge readings, this pool is also screened in with little debris. I have also notified them that technicians are on their phones due to working from a dispatch board and are required to take live photos of their cleanings. We have changed the technician to help address this issue.
Thank you,

ONCE again Clear Tech Dropped the ball. Im not sure who we spoke but they were very unprofessional and rude. Honestly she should take a customer ********************** course or get a new job. However they were currently in charge of the sub contracting people for a pool resurface, I cant even say companies because the people who showed up had nothing that showed they worked for anyone. They showed up unannounced. I feel like if youre showing up at someones home at least have the common courtesy, to call the tenants. This was just the beginning of the issues. They showed up and used our water and Electric.. they needed to use the outlets by the pool and then had the audacity to run three other extension cords into our home. My question is what would they have done if I didnt work from home? Continuing on I had to be rushed to the hospital, my husband told them not to enter our home to retrieve the extension cords because our dogs were out. My husband was checking our cameras from my hospital room and saw them removing their extension cords. That is breaking and entering. At the hospital my husband called clear tech pool so he could get a number or even a company name of those at our house. They refused to give it to us probably because the people who showed up werent an actual company. Clear tech pool called the guy and he said the didnt enter the home that they shimmed the cords out lol Ive attached photos I took of the cords being plugged in before we left anyone with common sense knows you cant shimmy out a heavy duty extension cord. Once we arrived home from the hospital it was dark and we were unable to see the work done. This morning another contractor came out and said the sandblasters did a horrible job they only completed 60% of the work. On top of that they left cigarettes and black and milds tips in our yard. I recommend clear tech for pool cleanings and thats it. Find another company for a pool resurface and save yourself the headache.Clear Tech Pools

****, ****** and ******* from our team kept in constant communication between you and your property management company. We received approval from your property management company to proceed with the pool resurface and confirmed with you on the dates we had available for our water blaster team.
The process was delayed a couple of times due to you refusing our crew to start the work because you hadnt received confirmation from your management company as to who was going to pay for the water. **** spoke with you multiple times on November 17th and you informed her that we could move forward because the management company said they would pay for the water and the water blaster still had November 27th available.
The guys needed 3 outlets and there was only one outside and you are the one that plugged the cords in for them. No one from our team ever entered the house and as you can see in the photos they were able to tug the cords to get them unplugged and back out of the window without entering the home. Your property management is very aware of this situation and has coordinated with us to get the job done. If you have any further questions or concerns, please reach out to them directly.Sincerely,

They are the worst vendor I have dealt with in my life. They are so shady, and it is from the office lady, manager and to their technicians. They dont clean the pool. I have multiple times had a nasty green pool because of them. I have watched the technicians on more than one occasion just drive up to the house, snap a picture with their phone that they were at the house, and then hang a note of service at the door. Then just continuously charge for service. Even after multiple calls talking with office people and managers, they just dont care. They will keep giving you BS and keep doing nothing. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this pool service company!!!!Clear Tech Pools

I will politely disagree with this assessment. We were locked out on a regular basis with this particular customer. The tenant did not want their service on the weekend which is understandable, but sometimes that was the only option. The tenant locked had gate locked even on Thursdays and Fridays on a regular basis and went as far as to say they were calling the police if we attempted to service their pool. This property is owned by a property management company who dictates the service. The only time the pool was green was on 6/17 and that was after having been locked out since May 13th. We have instructed the property management company we will no longer be servicing this location. I stand by the fact that we continually tried to service the pool and when we were able to access did our job correctly. I find the comment of our company being "Shady" slanderous and unsubstantiated. We have plenty documentation, including GPS reports, pictures etc. to back up our work.
Sincerely,

I have been a customer for 2+ years. Over the past several months, techs have not cleaned the pool for weeks at a time, never notifying me that they didnt come by, yet ClearTech continued to bill me for weekly cleaning. This has happened repeatedly.Clear Tech Pools

Good Afternoon Ms. P*****:
In response to your recent review, I would like to apologize for the 2 "lock outs" with regard to your pool service - 7/29 and 8/3. I acknowledge the code to get in was on file, but unfortunately not in the correct place for the technician to retrieve it. I am in agreement you should have received a phone call to advise we had an issue and also taken a look at the account more thoroughly where we would have noticed the code. As a courtesy I have issued a credit for one month's service and will be sending this to you in the mail. I want to assure you I have gone back through your account for the last two years and have only located 2 locks which are the most recent. I have all pictures and documentation to support the information I am speaking of. It disappoints me greatly we have lost you as a customer and again I apologize for the miscommunication with regard to the code to get in to service the pool. It is my sincere hope the opportunity arises where you would allow us another chance to service your pool.
Sincerely,
CLEAR-TECH, INC.

One star is a star too many. This company operates on quantity over quality. When you call with concerns they not only have no interest in addressing them they speak poorly to you. It’s not uncommon for them to replace an item that’s already been replaced just a few months previous to tack onto their invoice. Additionally , they can’t keep pool technicians and every time you turn around someone else will be maybe showing up. They do NOT adhere to the schedule they promise and make no apologies about missing service that’s been paid for. Save yourself the aggravation of dealing with this company. I wish I was able to attach photos of a pool that they think is acceptable per Ben on their management team.Clear Tech Pools
