purchased a pair of ****** hs7 studio monitor speakers for ****** on 02-24-24 via paypal pay in 4 on accout ***************** Seller all of a sudden cancels the order on 02-28-24, but we go to the site and verify that the item is in stock on We do not receive any email stating why so I contact focused technology. *** on the phone looks up the order and starts off by telling me the item isnt available. I then state that I have verified it is available for order today 02-29-24 at the time of the call which was 250pm CST. He the stated it was cancelled due to availability again at which case I again open the site and verify it is available. I then state that I am going to file a BBB complaint because I feel like the company is dishonest and they are outright lying to me about my order. He then came back after and said it was a pricing error, that was listed as the reason. I don't believe either of these because the rep said he looked up my order and stated it was die to availability and then only changed his story when I threatened to file this case. I feel like this business is shady for the following reason, first no notification or clarification via email when the order was cancelled, and we only found out when paypal sent us a refund, second the agent stated he looked up the case and then lied to me about the reason, third agent then changed the story once BBB was mentioned. I tried to resolve this through esaclation but the agent did not want to help resolve this. What makes this worse is that these were for my daughters business she runs to pay for school. We sold he old monitor speakers when we ordered these to pay for them, and now she has nothing and cannot do work normally to pay for her school. this was also explained to the business who did not seem to care at all.
