I had outstanding credit until Oliphant USA LLC placed a collection account on my TransUnion file, dropping my score 70 plus points. I KNOW I do not have any bad debt and attempted to find out where this came from. I spent several hours calling number after number only to be told they didn't own the account as it belonged to another branch of their company, CKS Financial. I called them and same story. Someone borrowed money from a *******'s Bank. I have NEVER taken out a loan with this entity, nor have I done any business with them - EVER! I cannot get anyone to help me. This place is a scam operation trying to take advantage of senior citizens.

The company was fine for the first two years but as the debt gets closer to the statutes of limitations they are becoming more pushy and aggressive with their collection methods. I was out of the country for 7 months, and the payments were coming out as planned. I had already told Oliphant the ***** range is best for me as there is no accruing interest. I was unexpectedly laid off but continued having an interest in continuing the payments as I budgeted accordingly.I received a call with a pushy agent that I spoke with last year that stated this account needs to be close by ex amount of time. What part of laid dont you get. They should have never stopped the payments if they felt like the amount I paid was no longer enough. On top of they definitely misrepresented the amount I owed vs what they told me I could pay to totally pay it off. I asked the agent it seems like the balance is much higher than it was last year. I suggested to the agent if Oliphant wants to sell or transfer the debt then feel free to as I will not be going over the amount Ive been paying for the past 2.5 years. Oliphant May no longer contact me for any reason if these are the tactics they are taking.

I have a negative mark on my credit as of today when I checked it. I don’t owe them anything or have had an account with them. They have not contacted me by mail or phone to provide a debt validation letter.

I received court documents in my mailbox which already doesn't make sense as these should have been given directly to me and I should have had to sign for them. Regardless, Oliphant Financial LLC states that a judgement has already been issued against me in Dallas County Texas, Cause No. *********** This is the first I am hearing of a judgement being filed. They do not state who the original creditor is nor the amount of the debt. I just don't understand how I am receiving Post Judgement paperwork when I never received anything prior. I assume because I live in Texas this company will try to garnish my bank account since legally they cannot garnish my wages. What I demand to know is the Original Creditor, the amount owed, and WHY was I not given the option to make payment arrangements if this debt is valid.

Oliphant Financial has placed multiple garnishments against my pay under Gordon, aylsworth and Tami PC. The case number is cXX-XXXX. I have no idea who the original Creditor is and do not see any collection items being settled as paid on my credit report. Also, both garnishments were done without any notification to me. How can a judgement be filed without proof of service of any kind? The total amount owed was stated to be $4109.11 and the total garnished was $4317.09. The first amount was completed on 11/2/2021 in the amount of $3469.69 and the second amount was completed on 5/3/2021 for $847.40. I demand to know the original Creditor and when this will be settled and removed from my credit report because it is paid. I also want to see proof of service.

My Best friend received mail from Oliphant Financial in my name and she is a Public figure. This is a debt collector and is in violation of The State Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Federal fair debt Collection Practices Act. According to the Act, collectors may not tell another person, other than my attorney or spouse about my debt. I have an account in good standing with Oliphant and do not know how or why they obtained my friend's address let alone send her mail in my name to her private address.

I received a phone call on or about 08/01/2021 from a person named Linda claiming to work for Oliphant Financial LLC. When I returned the call I spoke with a gentleman whose name I cannot recall. I informed him that I believed that they were contacting the wrong person. Instead of verifying my information, he started to ask me for my PII e.g. full name, current address, last address, etc... I stopped him said I am not going to give you my PII over the phone. I also informed him that the alleged amount I owed was not possible because I never took out a loan from the supposed agency that they were collecting for and definitely not for the time frame he was suggesting. For reasons, I will not put a public forum it was physically impossible for me to have taken out a loan during that time frame and or make a subsequent payment a month or so later. I have NO outstanding debts. I tried to explain this to the gentleman over the phone however, he was insistent that I make payment immediately over the phone. I am NOT going pay money I DON'T owe.
