      Purchased a set of wheels/tires that were mounted and balanced. One arrived damaged. They told me I was on my own, they couldnt help me as it would cost to much money to send a replacement

      I initially purchased these rims from a dealer, named ****************, in approximately March or April of 2023, I cant remember exactly when. About 3 weeks after purchasing them I noticed a very long crack and dent on the rim after driving it very minimally and in no way irresponsibly with the reality of having rims. I immediately contacted the dealer with concerns over the quality of the rims and it being unreasonable for this to have happen. He told me to send pictures and he would contact the company about replacing it under warranty. I didnt hear back but at that point was when I realized multiple rims had the same cracking in the same spot, and so I contacted them again and he advised to bring them in person. There was no damage whatsoever to the outside of the rims but was rather a very fragile interior that was recognized by the dealer as well when I brought them in, and this was where the manufacture defect had occurred. I brought them to him and he acknowledged as well this was definitely a manufacturer defect and obviously not my fault, but now I couldnt drive them either because of the risk to my tires being damaged as a result. So the dealer advised he would be working with manufacturer to get a resolution, however the manufacturer took no responsibility and stated that it was wear and tear, which was impossible because Id barely driven 100 miles on the vehicle since getting the rims. The dealer stated because the rims were originally from the manufacturer I would need to deal with them about it. I am making a complaint with both companies is at this point as I am out almost $3000 dollars cause these are nothing but large paperweights now still sitting at the dealer warehouse. I am not looking for the compensation for being without my vehicle and the damage to my tires but solely to get a replacement of good quality rims like I was told these were when I bought them.

      Hello,

      We appreciate you reaching out and notifying us of the situation. After further investigation, we were able to uncover some email communication between us and the retailer ****************. The images provided originally from the retailer had signs that the defect could potentially be damage from road impact or road hazard, which would not be covered under warranty. However, our Account Manager gave the retailer the option to replace as a customer service solution. However, we never heard back from the retailer. Once we received the BBB review, we decided it would be best to reach out to the customer directly, explained the situation but how we are still willing to replace the items free of charge. The customer was satisfied with the solution, and we have since shipped him replacement items directly. (TRACKING #1Z6AR2100392075204 1Z6AR2100392738980 1Z6AR2100391465571 1Z6AR2100391954195) to his home address. 

      We appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to correct a miscommunication, we included a free set of lug nuts just as a gesture of our appreciation of the customer.

      I have tried multiple times to get answers. Call and text and emails. OE wheels **** listing states that the wheels will fit a **** ******** slk320. They do not. I have just wanted to return the wheels and get my return shipping costs back. Because of being ignored and not responded to, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Before I bought them, they guaranteed me over and over they would fit. I have notified **** of the false advertising. I had a certified mechanic that did the test fit before mounting the tires to the wheels. He called and told me that they were hitting the struts on the front axle. I contacted ************************** TN. They assured me that the wheels offset are wrong. The wheels are a +35 offset. **** ******** slk320 offset is a +32. They rub on the strut. I am just trying to get my money back and the return shipping cost. Upon contacting OE Wheels, they told me that they would not give my return shipping cost back. Even though they are a wrong description advertising.

      Hello, 

      We have reviewed the information provided by the customer and spoken with our sales department to see what actions were taken on our side. All information provided by the customer appears to be accurate; the listing had incorrect data leading the customer to purchase items that were not applicable to the vehicle. The customer did purchase through our **** store which policies only allows sellers to refund the original purchase amount. The original purchase amount has been refunded in full through ****. The complaint from the customer is regarding the cost of the return freight. After speaking, we agreed that the customer should not be liable for the cost of return freight when our listing was inaccurate and have happily agreed to send the customer a check directly to reimburse him for the return freight expense he incurred. The check is to be mailed Friday 12/08/23 and we will follow up with the customer in 1 week to confirm receipt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. We hope to earn his business again in the future as he has been a repeat customer in the past.

      I have tried multiple times to get answers. Call and text and emails. Have in writing from ***** guaranteeing that the rims would fit. They have not. I have just wanted the rear rims switched out with another size that would fit. He even told me to mount tires and if it didn't work, he would pay for it. It's all in writing. Because of being ignored and not responded to, I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Before I bought them, they guaranteed me over and over they would fit. I need shipping labels for the last 2 rims, and reimbursed the $150 to ship the other 2 rims I shipped. Why is it costing ME more money because of rims not fitting.

      For the last week or so I've been trying to return a wheel we had ordered from this company that was supposed to be black, however it's gunmetal grey. Every time I call they send me to someone named *****, and he never answers the phone nor returns phone calls. I won't be using or recommending this company.

      Hello.  The miscommunication occurred when the customer provided his personal information that did not match his order since it was originally bought through a business.  This resulted in several transfers, which we apologize for.  After some work, our service team located the record, spoke with the customer, explained what happened, apologized for the error, processed his Return Authorization and emailed him to let him know that we would refund the funds immediately instead of waiting for the product to return.  We are waiting for the customer to review his feedback.

      On October 7, 2022 I ordered a set of wheels from oe wheels. During the processes of this order, the order form asked about the vehicle I was ordering them for. The wheels I received so not fit the vehicle properly. They aren't even street legal. When I called, the seller said "aftermarket wheels" fit like that. All they sell are aftermarket wheels. Am I to assume none of them fit correctly? Why was I not informed of this prior to ordering? They will accept the wheels back, but it will cost me 15 percent of the purchase price and return shipping. It seems they should cover the entire return considering their lack of information prior to the sale.

      Thank you for the feedback and we apologize for the confusion.  These wheels are designed for lifted or leveled height trucks and SUVs and, depending on the vehicle, may require different tire sizes, leveling kits, fender flares, etc.  They meet or exceed all requirements as set forth by the *** and DOT.  We have already provided a 100% refund on the purchase.  Due to the fitment ambiguity in the listing,we will also provide the customer return shipping labels so that they can be returned at no cost to him.

      I ordered set of Black Chrome wheels order # XXX-XXXXXX. The wheels have started peeling. " wheels only had 7400 miles on them, when they started peeling. I had authorized GM dealership install. I contacted Steve W. on March 30th. He told me to send him images of peeling on wheels. " He told me another company did the black chrome for them, and the company was no longer in buisnes?" I sent him images on March 31st. He said he would have a manager contact me, once they seen photos. I have never heard from anyone. I have called, and sent numerous emails. With no reply. Just want to be treated fairly in this matter. Any help you can give in this matter, would be much appreciated . Thanks

The product you purchased was in fact coated by a 3rd party in the US, who is no longer in business. As stated on our website, all of our wheels carry a 1-year finish warranty and lifetime structural warranty. Your Order number XXX-XXXXXX was placed on February 17, 2020, well over 2 years ago. Though this clearly resides outside of our stated warranty timeframe, we do want to find a fair resolution for you and have asked someone on our management team to reach out to you.       I purchased a set of 4 wheels, tires, TPMS sensors and lug nuts. All mounted and balanced on 4/08/2022. They arrived on 4/13/2022, I investigated the packaging (cardboard to protect the face of wheel, some thin foam and plastic wrap) everything was perfect no cuts or damage to any of the packaging what so ever. I began installing the wheels on 4/13 and then realized I had not received the lug nuts. I messaged through eBay about them being missing. Luckily I had an old set to get me by. On the last wheel I discovered a bit of damage to the face of the wheel. I messaged and sent pictures of the wheel on 4/13. I installed the final wheel as I had no option as I was selling another vehicle and my old wheels were going on it as I was installing these new wheels. On 4/14 I received a message from Jason apologizing for the damage and said for me to leave the wheel in its packaging by my front door and fed ex would pick up and later I'd receive a new wheel/ tire etc. clearly he had not read my previous messages. Once he realized he told me "Unfortunately it's yours to keep now since I cannot file a shipping damage claim. Once the product is used we cannot do anything about it." I explained to him that the packaging was perfect upon arrival. Had there been any damage to the packaging materials I wouldn't have even unwrapped them. I have since messaged several times and have received no response. I'm not about to lie and claim shipping damage when everyone had done their job as they were supposed to except whoever packaged them missed the damage. I have yet to receive the lug nuts that were supposed to be in the package. I feel I have given them ample time to respond.
