On March 1st, I purchased a 2011 ******* Sonata for my 16 year old daughter. They failed to disclose to me that the vehicle had transmission issues and odometer roll back. Which is why the vehicle was listed for sale for $6500 with only ******* miles.. I was told by the General Manager ****, that it would be 30 days same as cash if I paid the entire amount of $6500 plus dealer fee and taxes with in that 30 days. I paid $3000 March 1st and $3000 March 17th. On March 18th, the vehicle was leaking transmission fluid in my garage, I took it to the dealership and they said it was just a seal on the transmission and assured me it was fixed. A week later the car broke down and my daughter was stranded as I was out of town. They would not send a tow truck to come pick up the vehicle. Once I returned back to town I took the vehicle to a Hyndai dealership because I felt their mechanics were very incompetent. Thats when I learned the transmission was blown and it would cost $5000+ to repair. They refused to pay for repairs , when I requested a refund of my $6000 I was told by **** that she had to contact their ***************** that does not exist. After 3 weeks of back and forth they told me I wont get a refund but could put to the purchase another of their 12 junk cars on the lot and it was going to be plus, plus, plus. I was told I had to pay an additional $4000 on top of the $6000 I already have for a vehicle that I as priced at $7500. So here we are 4 months later, I have no vehicle and no money to purchase another car for my daughter. These inconsiderate people havent even had the decency to call me for 3 months. And on top of all of that, they listed the vehicle for sale again. By far the worst experience Ive ever had purchasing anything in my entire life. These people dont deserve to be in business.

Upon return they gave me a different truck 2013 ***** XC60. Upon leaving no problems. Headed to the gas station filled the truck up their was issues with the fuel pump, and the air compressor went out. Drive back to the dealership told them what had just happened they stated they would fix the issue and for me to bring it back the following day 6/13/24 to be fixed. As soon as I got home that check engine light came on, then the abs light, dstc light. I went to auto zone got the ***** check engine light looked at and was told it was the catalyic converter and o2 sensors. The dealership fixed the air compressor and fuel pump on 6/13. They stated they would fix the o2 situation and I had to wait on the parts and to bring it in 6/17/24 to be fixed. 6/15/24 was the first full day of me driving the ***** since purchasing and I had to get a jump because the truck stopped on me. 6/16/24 the truck wouldnt start. 6/17/24 I contacted the dealership letting them know my truck wasn't working and I was told I had to pay $125.00 for a tow. I then speak to who supposed to been the manager and was told a refund request would be put in for my $2,200. Then I received another call stating their tow truck driver was there to pick up the truck since I requested a refund. This was at 12:02 pm. They reached out to me at 2:44pm stating they just received the ***** it started right up and was driving fine. I then stated to them that I wanted to proceed through with getting a refund because of the troubles I encountered in less than a week with TWO cars from them. I was told NO! I was told since they have thr truck and its running fine and they saw no problems that the refund wasn't happening.

I bought a 2018 Outlander from this company for $5k, i put $2300 down payment and made another $875 payment. I then decided that I no longer wanted the vehicle and was trying to trade a 2019 ********, **** the manager assisted me in getting the Outlander which needed major repairs, i spent about $2k on tires, repairs, cosmetics, etc. **** promised to sell the Outlander and Veloster for me since I decided to leave the country for better living. Last time we spoke he told me there was an offer on the Outlander to sell, I havent heard from his since after multiple attempts to contact through text, email, and phone. No luck, i just want my money back for my deposit and the equity from what I paid to fix the car. Also, need my Veloster properly returned to the lein holder. NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION. Also, this was all done to a 100 percent disabled Veteran who served 13 years in the US ***** ******* should be burned to the ground.

November 8 2023 I entered a finance agreement with a sales representative ********** for a 2008 ******** C300 listed at 4500$ which I put 50% down which is their policy and was promised 0%apr for 6 months , **** then did a bait and switch scheme and Changed my Bill of sale to 8500 and with fees totaling over 10,000$ and THEN applied my down payment, and just rushed me to sign paperwork. Also did not fully disclose mechanical issues with the vehicle such as electrical issues or that it leaks, the engine has been fully rebuilt and it seems to have been in an accident. I have proof of all statement said above and Id like the contract overturned and a full refund of my down payment of 2250$ and the last 6 months of payments totaling 1,935$.

On December 14, 2023, I purchased a **** Focus SE from Florida Auto House LLC in *******, **. I just turned 18 years old and was purchasing my first car, which I had saved for over 7 months. In the sales office, my uncle and I discovered that the car was a 2012, not a 2014 like the big blue "14" indicated on the windshield. I trusted the person who sold me the car because he said he was trying to make a name for himself in this business. He referred to the Sales Manager as his business partner. He also indicated that a mechanic(or other employee) that works at the dealership drove the car for 2 weeks and that it ran really well, was reliable, and had no issues. In the end, I handed the Sales Manager every cent I had to my name, $3,605. On the way home from the dealership, I had to put gas in the car as there was no gas in it. After purchasing gas and pulling out of the station, the oil change light came on the display of the car. Another setback but I was just going to take care of it as my expectations were low. During the drive home, a blinking light popped up on the dashboard display - "Transmission error". That was such an unsettling feeling and I did not feel safe. Luckily, my uncle was following me home so we proceeded. Once we arrived at home, I engaged the parking brake as the driveway is on a slope. Once I engaged the parking brake, it would not disengage. It was permanently stuck in that position and there was no way to disengage it. Then, the housing came completely off the parking brake stick. In fact, there wasn't even a real functioning release underneath the housing, just a metal stick. This all happened in the first hour or so after leaving the dealership. In the time it took to drive the vehicle home, the transmission light was issuing warnings, the check engine light was on, the oil change light was flashing, and now the parking brake was permanently stuck in the engaged position. I was livid and asked my uncle for help. He texted and called the salesman and the Sales Manager and finally got through to the salesman. We described the issues we encountered just driving it off the lot and demanded a refund. The vehicle is not safe, especially for a new driver. We were then advised to bring the vehicle back, even though the parking brake was permanently engaged. On December 15, 2023, my uncle took time off work and I took time off of school to deal with this as instructed. On the way to the dealership, the car stalled out 5 times and we had to pull over and drive with the emergency lights on and drive slowly. The transmission light continued to blink all along the way. When we arrived, we requested a refund from the Sales Manager. We sat in his office for 20 minutes or so while we discussed these issues and he told us that this particular vehicle was notorious for transmission issues and also mentioned other vehicles we should stay away from. We were then handed off to another employee to "process the refund" and led to another office. We were told that even though we paid $3605 in cash the night before, the funds were not available because it "had to go through the system" and said that we can expect a check in a few days. We asked if they could mail the check, as I did not want to be back in that building again. The Sales Manager said yes but it would take a few more days to get it mailed so we agreed. We were told we didn't need to be in the office anymore and that we could leave, as the employee was at a computer entering something. On the way out of the office, my uncle told the Sales Manager, sorry things didn't work out . He then retreated to his office and we thought we were done. The following week, I received a call from the Sales Manager saying the refund request was denied". I was shocked because I thought this whole process was done and over with. I asked my uncle for help again so he called the Sales Manager and was told that coming back to the dealership for the refund was just a "request". He then said the owner declined my request . My uncle asked to speak to the owner but the Sales Manager said he couldn't even speak to the owners himself and that he could only contact them via email. My uncle asked him to explain the situation to the owners once more because I did not feel safe driving the car. The only thing that was offered was to either exchange the car or pay a 40% restocking fee. There were no other cars that were in my price range and I did not trust them or their vehicles at this point. A 40% restocking fee is outrageous considering these issues occurred simply by driving it home from the dealership that same night. My uncle asked him to please help and contact the owner to explain this horrible situation once more. Several days passed, and we heard nothing from Florida Auto House. On December 29, we finally received a text from the Sales Manager stating, "The owner stood by his first decision and unfortunately, no refunds . We have not been able to contact whomever the owner is. The Sales Manager's phone number is what is listed on their website and on bbb.org. This wasn't adding up. In the same text, he also said, ********** is **** fixed the recall, you can pick it up anytime". At this point, I wanted this whole experience to end. On December 30, I made arrangements to get a ride back to the dealership. My uncle texted the Sales Manager that morning before we came down and was told the vehicle was still sitting at **** and waiting to be picked up by their transportation service . He then said that Tuesday, January 2, would "be a great day to come pick it up". We waited patiently until January 2nd and discovered from the salesman that it was indeed not ready and still at a **** dealership. Everything I was told up to this point about the car being fixed was a fabrication. The car's transmission was not fixed and neither was the parking brake. We then waited another week believing that they were working to fix these issues so the vehicle would be drivable. I would text the salesman periodically for updates and was told he was going to make sure everything was fixed and safe.On January 9, my uncle spoke to the Sales Manager and he didn't have much information regarding the car(neither did the salesman). He gave us the phone number to the **** dealership where the vehicle was. Soon after this, my uncle then called the **** dealership to get answers and we were told the worst possible situation. **** said that they were asked to replace a TCM(transmission control module) in the vehicle. The representative from **** said he did not believe this was the issue but the salesman from Florida Auto House insisted it was and they were waiting on the part as it was on back order. **** said they were unaware of the parking brake situation and it was not communicated to them and they would need to follow-up on that with the salesman. It has been nearly 4 weeks and I have lost my entire savings, have no car, and have had to endure 4 weeks of runaround. I do not know what to do. The salesman, in prior communications, apologized many times and ensured that the car would be returned to us in great working condition and that all issues would be fixed. They have not. They have not even started. The most recent communication we had with the salesman was describing to him what **** said and how all the issues still persisted. He then blamed us for the parking brake not working as if it was our fault. I am out $3,605, have no vehicle, and no idea if/when it will be fixed. All of these issues presented themselves on the same night I drove the car home. Florida Auto House does not seem to care. I just want my money back and to never have to deal with them again.

Vehicle was sold AS IS with no warranty. We offered a warranty which was declined. We also offer a 30 day exchange warranty for free. Where we give you full value towards any other car on the lot.Which we have extended to you.

We also helped by making some calls to **** and having them come pick the vehicle up to fix any recalls the vehicle may have that could be causing this issue. We understand they still have the vehicle because they are waiting on parts.

Just the other day we offered for you to still exchange the vehicle for another. Although we dont give refunds.

All of the words above regarding it being sold As IS and no refunds were disclosed before the sale and signed by both parties.

As a courtesy we are still offering an exchange to another vehicle.

I contacted **** (his phone ************) about a **** *** 6 Series Convertible. He told me the car was working and we made a payment arrangement. I made 6 payments to Florida Auto House (***** US 92 highway ******* **) via CashApp. I have attached proof of my payments totalling to $1500.- Jan 2nd, **** $600 - Nov 28, 2023 $600 - Nov 5th, 2023 $200 - Nov 4th, 2023 $100 On Thursday January 4th ****, I went to go pick up the car after talking to **** on the phone. The car would not get out of the parking lot. He willingly took payments on a car for 2 months knowing that the car does not work. He said the car got messed up because of a tow truck, which makes no sense! The car has been on his lot since November. Why didn't he check the car? Why did he accept my payment on January 2nd and make plans for me to pick up the car that week?? He said he was going to send a refund in 3 days and he still has not sent the refund. This is frustrating because I made plans for my life in anticipation of the car: trying to getting a new place to live and trying to getting a job. I renewed my license $60 and I paid for an uber to meet him for $20. I did all these in good faith and he lied to me. I would like my $1500 back ASAP. Or I will file a criminal report for fraud.

We have over 5 missed payments on the vehicle. Vehicle was repossessed for non payment and multiple NSF. We gave this customer multiple chances to catch up on her payment. Unfortunately this contract was not fulfilled by our customer resulting in the vehicle being picked up.

      Complaint: 21024036

I am rejecting this response because: You are a scheme you and Mid Atlantic work together in deception you have worked with me on all of my late payments Florida Auto House my car was repossessed from you on 12/15 and I was not in default at the time actually caught up with every payment you sold my contract with the wrong balance coached me on what to say to the finance company so they could pay you for the loan. You cannot show one Nsf payment made to Florida Auto house and the Midatlantic nsf were not nsf they were ach payments that could not go through my savings however they were taken care of at the time you repossessed my car and you were not the contract owner midatlantic was at the time and lien holder anc they did not advise you to repo my car you did because you were being forced to buy back the contract and didnt want to per the contract I signed no Gps should be on my car as the boxes were not checked and a gps was on the car...you are being investigated by Flhsmv the Attorney General the Florida **** of ******** Protection and I am in process of filing a civil suit .You had no right to repossess the vehicle at the time you did because i was not in default and per **** i had to renegotiate my contract to get my car back but because i filed the complaints the terms changed and its all documented per one of those attachments it clearly says im approved but because i filed complaints i cant get my car back...approved for what I was in default and yes my payments made to midatlantic were disputed after the fact with my back to them because they said they didnt own the vehicle and I had to deal with you and i have bank statements that happened after you repossessed my car also **************** owe a red light ticket because he ran the light and my tag was registered to it...that will be challenged also..Midatlantic has since called me and asked me about the vehicle and the agreement with the the dealer and advised me that they were the car owner as of 5 days ago they are still reporting on my credit not you as you have threatned and that will be challenged because they tell me to deal with you the dealership so the allegations you said on the reason of repossession are false because you worked with me on every late payment i had until you sold my contract. ***************************** worked or works for asset recovery so she specializes in this kind of pratice she is using it to her advantage illegally she is not the owner of the company either Florida Auto House Llc is known for this deception and has changed their name before because of the reviews. The lawsuit will include my money paid loss of work harsship and the pain and suffering you caused to my mental health and also the amount I paid to purchase a new vehicle all because of dealers like you who tend to prey on consumers and falsifying facts just to gain a dollar causing others pain and suffering with your illegal deceptive and scheming ways..I do not accept your response to why my vehicle was repossessed on 12/15 because on that day I was not in default you can print a fake ledger just like your false contract its all being investigated and you will compensate for it all

      Sincerely,

On December 1st my boyfriend and I bought a car from this dealership we put $2,000 down and had a deferred payment of $750 due on December 8th for the rest of the down payment because we were doing the half down and finance the other half with no interest for 6 moths, when we bought the car they told us we had a 30 day engine and transmission warranty if anything happened. On December 5th my boyfriend brought the car back because the car wasn't shifting properly and wanted them to look at it we went back there later that evening and the financial manager told us that his mechanic said that it looks like we were driving the car rough and drifting in it and doing burn outs when we weren't and said it needed a whole new transmission because 3rd gear was gone and it would cost $1,000 to buy it and have it installed, when we asked about the warranty they said it was only an exchange warranty and we could only get credit for another car on the lot. we left it there over night for them to look at again because it was also over heating and we didn't think it was just the transmission. The next day my boyfriend decided to pick it up and take it to other places to get a price quote that's when the mechanic decided to do a burn out in the car after he knew the transmission was messed up. Later that night we called and asked if we could just bring the car back and get our money back and they told us yes and to bring it on the next morning on December 8th. On December 8th when we got there right when they opened they took the keys and said the car was being repossessed, which doesn't make sense since the deferred payment was due on that day and the first payment wasn't till December 22nd, one of the lady's then proceeded to grab my boyfriends mothers phone out of her hand and push her which he have on video and we have all the paperwork of when he bought the car and when the scheduled payments were. So now we have no car and no money. They scammed us.

This vehicle was sold as is, with no dealer warranty. We offer a 30-day exchange warranty on any car.

Unfortunately, you had missed payments and stated you were not going to make any future payments. Your actions and threats to damage the vehicle are the reasons why we were not able to help.

We apologize youve had a not so good experience. We would love to help and would give you full credit for another vehicle if you pay in full.
