      On two seperate occasions, this company has either tricked our employees or falsified documents to take over at our ***************** Once it was an employee who was told misleading and false information. This time, they took over our bill without our consent. This is for Recovery Revolution, *** and A Clean Slate- both in ****** ***Electric companies use unethical and illegal practices and harrass companies to try to switch. Last time we had to put our account "on watch." This is the second time and they successfully forced us to have their service for 5 days. Our small nonprofits wants:a refund an agreement to never call or harrass our business again and reassurance that they won't randomly take over ANY of our bills.

      We have been unable to substantiate the claims made by ************************. Despite our attempts to reach **************** for further discussion,we have not yet been able to connect with her.

      Our records indicate that *********************** has enrolled with American Power & Gas multiple times since August 2017. Additionally, on September 6, 2019, AP&G paid a cancellation fee of $215.65 for Recovery Revolution, which was also completed by ***********************. The most recent enrollment in May 2024 was again completed by ***********************. We have emailed the recorded verifications to **************** for her review as well.

      Given this information, AP&G did not randomly take over accounts or enroll this customer without consent. We can only assume that this customer may be confusing our company with another provider.

      All associated accounts have been canceled with no fees, and we have placed the numbers ************** and ************** on our Do Not Call list. If **************** has any additional phone numbers she would like to add, we will gladly accommodate that request.

      The customer may respond to our email sent if they require further information or assistance.

      Phone call harassments. They have been asked to stop calling 9 times that we have record of. We would like the calls to stop.

      Dear *** or Madam,

      We reached out to the customer as we were unable to locate any calls requesting to be placed on our Do Not Call list. It is a serious violation of company policy for vendors to disregard such requests. Oftentimes, complaints are misaddressed to our company due to similar names, such as All-American Power and Gas or American Power Gas & Electric.

      The customer provided additional numbers allowing us to further investigate and to be placed on our Do Not Call list. **************** found our call and resolution satisfactory.

      I work for ******* *************************** AP&G, has repeatedly called us about "lowering our rates" and claiming that RG&E authorized them to call. They do not take "NO" for an answer. I tell them I'm not interested, hang up and block the number. They immediately call back from a different number. This goes on several times. This afternoon, they called 5 times in a row, I blocked every number, yet they call again from a different number. This needs to stop!

      I am used to electric and gas providers calling to get me to switch. Today I received a call from American Power and Gas about electicity. I told him I wasn't interested 3 times and he just kept talking. I finally hung up on him and thought it was done. He called again seconds later and again I hung up on him. You might think he would get the message but he didn't. He called a third time.This is not the way a business should try to attract new customers

      I signed up for a fixed rate electric service contract with no sign up fee and no early cancelation. As with every other electric service provider I've used, I was sent the notices regarding my contract expiration coming up. I called American Power & Gas recently to inquire what the next fixed rate they were offering me was. They told me the contract my plan would roll into would be a fixed rate a few cents higher than what my current rate was. I said that was fine and I would skip around to see if there was another provider with lower rates. They assured me that the new contract would be a fixed rate around *****. I received a letter from them today telling me I was enrolled in a flat monthly rate if $109.00 a month. That rate came from my usage. I barely use $35.00 a month for my electric supply. They lied on the phone call about the plan they were enrolling me in and now are expecting me to pay $109.00 a month for 5 days with them, since I canceled immediately once I got the letter.To make it clear, I've been choosing my own electric and gas supplies for years and always read the terms, conditions and set notices on my calendar for when the rates expire, so this is entirely on the company for lying about the rate contract they were going to enroll me in.

      Switched to a different provider, and am deluged with endless voicemails from them, over a year later. I no longer want to do business with this (terrible predatory overpriced) company, and they do not respect my time. I can see from the hundreds of other BBB complaints that they are complicit in their bad behavior all the way up to the * level class of executives.

      I had a very rude, aggressive man keep calling named *****. I repeatedly told him I was NOT interested. He would not take no for an answer, I ended up hanging up whenever he asked for a recorded call. These businesses should not be allowed to harass other businesses.

      This is a third-party energy company that was charging me four times the amount for over a year costing me $15-$18,000, which I unfortunately didnt notice until I did my taxes this past year and saw how much my utility bill had gone up as this is set to auto pay and I was not on top of Things as I should be National grid charges anywhere between three cents and five cents a kilowatt compared to the $.21 they are charging, and $1.14 a firm compared to national grids $.25 a firm Like I said this is cost me over $1000 a month for over a year and a half, and I had them signed into my business and my personal home.

      Upon researching this case, we found that ******************** enrolled with American Power & Gas under our variable rate offer, which has no penalties or fees for cancellation at any time. Our records show that ******************** has spoken with our **************************** and we were able to provide him with a courtesy adjustment to assist him. His accounts have been cancelled since 4/4/24, and we have placed his phone number ************** on our Do Not Call list. He may reach out to us anytime if he needs further assistance.

      I received a very aggressive call asking me to get our electric bills for all locations to review rate changes. That the caller was required to do this by New York State. I repeatedly said we were happy with our provider and would review any rate changes with them. It was clearly a scam to bully unsuspecting recipients into thinking they are an authority of the state. I had to eventually hang up.

      Hello,

      We are unable to validate the consumers claims regarding the call she received.After reviewing the situation, we found that the agent who contacted ********** is a newer representative who properly identified themselves and the company they were calling on behalf of while maintaining a professional demeanor.

      ********* provided the remaining part of her telephone number, which we have now added to our do-not-call list. She mentioned they have multiple locations, and we advised her we are committed to ensuring none of her locations are marketed to by AP&G in the future but would need the additional phone numbers to fulfill that commitment.  

      If the customer provides more phone numbers, we will gladly add them to our do-not-call list. Thank you.

      American Power & Gas of ********** is the worst. They call the office constantly, harassing us. They have been told that NO we are not interested, please stop calling. They get nasty and start yelling. We hang up on them and they call right back. They refuse to stop calling. We did not sign up for their service nor are we interested in signing up for their service.
