      1. The salesperson misled me into agreeing to switch from the electric power supplier, assuring me that I could cancel the AP&G contract within the first three days of receiving the Welcome Package and return my account to the previous supplier. This point was discussed at least twice in detail. Instead, after I canceled the switch the first day after receiving the Welcome Package (and realizing all the unspoken problems with the contract), I was switched to the utility company. As a result, my rate increased from 5.5c/kwt to 9.2c/kwt.2. Afterwards, I attempted to sign up for a 3-month fixed-rate contract at 6.7c with AP&G but was rejected.3. AP&G sent me a $25 gift card with "no strings attached." I called them twice, and twice they promised to send me a coupon code by email. After thee+ weeks of waiting, I have received nothing.Judging by other complaints and non-BBB reviews, these deceptive practices seem systemic and may warrant an additional Attorney General complaint.

      Multiple representatives from *** has contacted our office excessively (multiple times a day). We have asked them repeatedly to stop calling our office. We tell them we are not interested and they call back again and again. ****** stated that we don't know anything and just go get your billing ( from another company). They will not take no for an answer and they keep harassing the employees. I asked to speak to a manager three separate times, they refuse to let me speak to the manager and stated that I should just listen to what they say. The phone number they have left for us to call them back is ***************************. We just want them to stop calling us.

      Phishing style call clearly worded to intimidate callers to achieve a return call. Calls made to a number on the national do not call registry, so bad business ethics.

      This company has harassed us with phone calls after being told several times to take us off their list. I want the calls to stop. I don't want a phone call from them at all. We do not want their service. We try to block one number, they call from another. Multiple calls a day. How do we stop this?

      I am the director of a preschool, have no business with this company, have spoken to them and told them to stop calling, and they continue to repeatedly call during school hours. If one of the teachers happens to pick up the phone, they are rude and harass them. I want the calling to stop.

      THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE. THEY CALLED ME TODAY ASKING FOR A PERSON WHO HAS NOT OWNED THE BUISNESS IN 8 YEARS, THEN THEY DEMANDED TO SPEAK WITH THE OWNER OR THE PERSON WHO HANDLES THE ELECTRIC BILL AND DEMANDED I GET OUT MY ELECTRIC BILL AND GO OVER WITH HER. WHO ARE THEY TO CALL AND DEMAND SUCH INFO WITH SUCH AUTHORITY. THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE AND PRAYING ON THE ELDERLY AND LESS SMART PEOPLE OUT THERE. THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUISNESS AND NOT ALLOWED TO CALL AND HARASS PEOPLE THE WAY THEY DO. THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE.       We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

      Our records show the agent placed one outbound call to the business location in question. During that call, the agent politely asked for the person listed in our records. The individual on the phone explained that the listed person had not been affiliated with the business for several years.Our agent acknowledged this and explained the reason for the call, which was to discuss energy supply options with the person responsible for the electric account.

      At no point did our agent demand personal information or behave aggressively. In fact, the call ended shortly after the customer became agitated. Following the call, the customer began making repeated inbound calls to our office. Unfortunately, during these calls, our agents were subjected to threats of violence, vulgar and abusive language, and were not given the opportunity to speak or clarify the nature of our business. Any attempt to explain or de-escalate the situation resulted in the customer hanging up and calling back again in the same manner.

      We understand that receiving unsolicited calls can be frustrating, and we take that feedback seriously. However, we do not tolerate harassment or threats against our employees under any circumstances.

      Out of caution and in good faith, we have placed the customers number on our Do Not Call list, ensuring no further outreach will be made.

      I am rejecting this response because: THEIR AGENT MOST DEFINEATLY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO GIVE HER MY INFO OFF MY ELERTRIC BILL SHE WAS VERY PUSHING AND FORCEFULL. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS COMLAINT HAS BEEN MADE ABOUT THIS COMPANY AND THE ANSWER IS TO PUT THE NUMBER ON A DO NOT CALL LIST. THAT IS NOT A GOOD ANSWER THIS WAY THEY CAN CONTINUE TO HARASS OTHER ********* FAR AS VULGAR ABUSIVE LANGUAGE GROW UP AND DEAL WITH IT HAVE A 1ST ADMENDMENT RIGHT!!! YOU CALLED ME FIRST!! MAYBE IF MORE PEOPLE LIKE ME HAD THE BACK BONE TO STAND UP TO FOUL PRAYING COMPANIES LIKE THIS ONE THERE WOULD BE LESS OF THEM. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.       I am profoundly dissatisfied with a recent interaction with American Power and Gas. On a recent morning at 10:07am, I received an unsolicited call from a representative (I believe his name was ******) that can only be described as unprofessional, disrespectful, and profoundly inappropriate.From the moment I declined interest in a rate lock following my three-month contract, the representative displayed shocking behavior. He repeatedly interrupted me when I attempted to speak; refused my clear request to be removed from your call list; adopted a condescending tone, repeatedly stating that I "clearly did not understand" what was being offered; commanded me to "let him talk" when I attempted to respond; continued to dismiss my informed decision with patronizing remarks, and insisted on "explaining" despite my clear comprehension.When I requested to speak with a supervisor, the representative refused to connect me and would not provide his name. His unprofessional response that he "would be paid regardless" demonstrates a concerning lack of customer service ethics. Most egregiously, he deliberately spoke over me to complete his sales pitch before abruptly terminating the call.The implication that I couldn't possibly understand basic rate information despite clearly articulating my knowledge was insulting and gendered in nature. Being repeatedly silenced, talked over, and told what I do and don't understand is unacceptable treatment for any customer, but especially reflects problematic attitudes toward women's competence.This encounter represents the most negative customer service experience I have ever had. I chose to work with American Power and Gas for a specific three-month contract with full awareness of the terms. To be treated with such disrespect on an unsolicited call is beyond unacceptable.

      This company contacted me about offering lower rates compared to my rates directly with the electric company. The classic bait and switch now I'm paying double the rates and for literally nothing. They charge me double and then give back 25% of that and I can't get that money back. So they charge me for nothing. Literally nothing. Instead of saving money they are scamming people and don't answer the phones when you call them. I want out of their program and I know it's highly unlikely but I'd love to get my money back since no service was provided. Worst case I will file a case with the attorney general against them for being a harmful scam.

      This company refuses to stop calling me. I unfortunately signed up for their service, and as soon as I did I was called 5+ times per day every single day asking if I wanted to add more services to my account. They call so frequently it goes through my do not disturb setting on my phone. I have emailed, picked up the calls, and tried to call them on their own to be removed from their promotional lists. I told them if they called again I would go with a different provider. They did call again, so I cancelled my service with them. Despite not being a customer and asking to be removed from their list, I am still getting phone calls.

      The month of January and February I was charged ****** for supplier fees. I called them to cancel and they claimed they did only to be charged again. I called and said they could only reimburse me the 51 dollars which doesn't even cover the charge. I payed it last month but to be charged again is ridiculous. They refused to let me speak to a manager. I was told by ******* that he could answer any questions I had. And then come to find out I am being charged on my gas bill too.
