From May, 2022 to April of 2023, Talquin did several projects. I paid a total of 12,698. The first project was to install drainage beside my neighbors fence to stop the flow of water into my yard. The project did not work, and the yard fill with rock and mud. The company stated they would come fix it. After contacting them several times, they returned in October, when I asked about sod. They put a different kind of rock in the drainage ditch and layer sod. I had to pay again for the first project to be fixed. The second solution did work, and did the same thing as the first one. A retaining wall was the only solution at that point to keep the water and mud from coming in the yard. I ended up paying another 5400 for the retaining wall. I also payed 5400 to have the weeds in my yard taken out, the soil to be graded and sod in October. When spring came, all the sod was full of crabgrass, which I had to hire a company to come try and kill the weeds. The gravel I’m the drainage ditch was not working either. When I sent a letter to the company they came and put different rock in the ditch, which I appreciate, however the left the job without cleaning up the rocks all over the yard, the clay where they dig out the sod to install the drainage wall, and the ground damages from the equipment. I was told that sod would be put back where it was dug up. Two guys showed up with some left over sod, and put it on top of the weeds and rocks. Another issue I encountered was the owner told me I had qualified for 7800 through their finance company. When I went to pay, it was not a finance company, it was a list of pre-approved companies to choose from. I was denied twice, resulting in three inquiries on my credit report.
