One Loan Place offered me a loan and I was told I was approved for $6,500.00. After providing my personal information, I was transferred to a credit specialist to repair my credit. I was asked to pay to get started $9.99. After telling the agent, I was not interested in debt consolidation and repairing my credit, I was told to call One Loan Place back. I spoke with an agent who sent me an email ************************ to approve the loan options. Then, she hung. this company is SCAM.

      *******,

Thank you for letting us know about your experience.  We see a couple of things that went wrong here.  First your application was accepted initially, meaning based on your income and loan amount you gave us, you should be able to get the loan you were looking for with one of our lenders or lending networks.  When you called in our representative *** discovered that your debt to income ratio could potentially impede you from getting your loan.  In cases like this we recommend you review your credit and debt situation.  None of these are required in any way to apply for a loan, but can help people with unusable credit.  The application we sent you was specific to your request and I encourage you to apply.  However if the terms are not favorable we recommend reviewing your credit reports, consider credit counseling if it makes sense in rare cases debt settlement.  Please feel free to call us back and ask for **** ** ****.  I would be very glad to go over all your potential options.  I believe there is a solution for you here.  I spoke to the representative who you spoke to last and she apologizes for hanging up prematurely.  I listened to the call and I believe she thought the conversation was over however I did discuss with her she should have waited longer for your reply after saying "OK".  We also reviewed customer etiquette with her for any future calls.

      Best,
      ****

I contacted 1 loan place after applying online for a loan. I was told that I was matched to a lender and I needed to call there ************ number. As I was talking to a representative by the name of “*******” (The name given to me) I began to ask questions about whether or not I qualified for a loan, in which she told me that she was gathering information to submit to other lending institutions. I told her that I was not interested in a debt consolidation company after being offered. She then became short and discontinued the call. I called back to inquire about the company and asked for a supervisor and was told one was not available and the representative hung up on me. I called back a 3rd time and was again hung up on. I want to insure that this is a legitimate company and that my personal information is not being sold or shared.

After a thorough investigation we found our client was treated in insensitive and inconsiderate manner.  I deeply regret this and we are taking corrective actions that we hope will improve out quality of service going forward.  We also have sent all involved into additional training to improve our level of empathy and professionalism.  We appreciate this complaint in terms of the feedback and advice provided.  Hopefully these changes will make us a better company going forward.

      Sincerely,

      **** ********

********* lender. Claimed to be a loan serviced, then spammed with emails & texts. Called their listed number per their approval ad and then was told that they are not a loan company. When asked to have my info deleted, rep called me derogatory names and disconnected abruptly. Called back, was told there no supervisors as they all work independently and they are unable to remove info from system and/or deactivate accounts. The reps continue to mute the calls and refuse to connect to a supervisor. Even their website has false accreditations. This company is preying on bad credit/low income individuals who are facing financial hardship.

First for clarification we are not a direct lender and do not present ourselves as such.  We work to connect qualified clients with lenders and financial solution providers according to the stated goals of our clients and requirements provided by lenders.   ********* **** called in after being referred from another website because of low scores and limited options.  However her loan application for $5,000 matched several lenders in our network.  In order to place her with the correct lender or financial solution we asked she call in to finalize her application.   We needed to ask a few questions that the referral form does not provide to make sure we send her the correct internal loan form.   We presently receive over 5,500 loan applications a day and we validate information and then present applications to our networks of over 50 lenders depending on where a client lives, loan amount and other criteria.

When ********* called in she explained that she expected a loan company not a company like ours in terms of service offering.   *********’s call was disconnected and or representative called back and left a message.  We don’t know if this disconnection was on purpose by our representative but we did take the precaution to send the rep through training on that issue as a precaution.  Disconnections are a daily occurrence and can happen on either side of the call.  The fact our representative made an effort to call ********* back is an indicator the disconnect was cause by a technical glitch and not in response to ********* being upset.

********* was later connected with a manager who initiated and investigation of all aspects of *********’s negative experience.   During the investigation we found no derogatory words were used in any conversation with *********.  ********* was not put on mute except to connect her with a manager.   If she had been she would have heard hold music.  We do occasionally put clients on mute when we run our system to find solutions for a client but that did not happen in this case.  *********’s request to remove information from our system was honored.   We did not text ********* or send ********* any marketing emails other than a welcome and loan application email associated with her application.  None of *********’s information was shared by our company with any third party.

We do specialize in helping clients find loans after being turned down elsewhere.  We also offer debt relief solutions and credit improvement and monitoring solutions if the client is interested and qualified.  Our primary focus is the help our clients providing them information and placing them with a financial solution who can help them.

Our CEO personally reviewed the investigation results of ********* ****’s application and is making himself available to ********* to provide further assistance and or answer any questions: **** *. *** *** ****
