1 starI contracted Tadlock Roofing to replace shingle roof by metal roof at my property in Port St Lucie. The job was scheduled to start in August 19, 2024, nobody showed up or call to cancel. Then, they rescheduled the job for September 3, 2024 and they only worked one day on that week. First inspection failed, and also the final inspection failed. As a today, November 24, 2024, the roof is not completed, inspection is in the limbo, and nobody answered my calls or texts including the company's vice-president Mr. Kyle C*****. Ah! And they already collected almost $28,000. Do not hire this company. The roof looks terrible, poor workmanship on top of the lack of professionalism. I should had terminated the contract when I realized how long they took ( from April to August) to provide all the documents requested by mortgage company to verify the company doing the job. Tadlock Roofing has caused a lot of frustration and emotional distress to me and my family.Review fromSu W

1 starWe have had to have them come out multiple times to repair the new roof that was put on, and it has been 17 months since the city failed the inspection and they still have NOT gotten it resolved and the permit closed, but I should not be surprised because it took them 15 months to get the correctly sized glass for the skylight (I was left with a temporary cover that all noise came through and sounded HORRIBLE during the rain for OVER a YEAR)BE VERY CAREFUL with selecting a contractor. Make sure whoever you select will actually follow through with the entire process.Review fromJim T

5 stars********************* and his whole crew did a fantastic job putting a new roof on my house in ******* on July 24, 2024. They were prompt, professional, they worked very hard to get it all done in one day. And they were upfront with me when extra expenses came up (my roof needed more plywood than projected). Would recommend.Review fromLaura D

1 starScammers.A *********************** came our house on a cold call. He was aggressive, rude, and started taking photos of our house without our permission. He said the roof needed to be fixed and he needed to get on the roof! My husband asked who he was and ****** stated the insurance company sent him - and gave my husband his card, Tadlock Roofing, ********. My husband said we never contacted anyone about our roof, and to leave. ****** made a rude comment, and my husband told him to leave or we'd call the cops.Review fromHarry N

5 starsI had Tadlock replace my roof last year just a short time before Hurricane *** hit our area. I dealt with the local office in ********. After the hurricane we did notice any damage inside the house, or missing shingles. Our neighbor, who had her roof replaced by a different company about the same time, lost the sheetrock in her garage ceiling due to leaks. It's been over a year and still no problems. The job was done within 3 days.Review fromMark E

5 starsI used Tadlock Roofing on two rental homes I have. Both roofs were replaced without the slightest of an issue. Between punctual appointments, clear expectations set forth, and a respectable cleanup I am pleased with my finished products.Review fromDONNA M.

They were rude, unprofessional, lied, and left rotten plywood on our roof after promising 3xs in 1 conversation that he ( the boss) would replace. It. They wouldn't allow the workers to even speak to us. I speak enough Spanish to believe their employees are not all documented. Our roof had a Roof wrap that had a 1 year warranty on it and as I demanded they not cut it, because extremely dark clouds were nearly here, they said "we put on roofs in the rain all the time." It caused 4 ceilings to be damaged in our main house! They never repaired this!!! I was treated so poorly I am still considering filing a lawsuit against them! The "boss" came to my door to be paid and was still yelling at me saying, "prove it", when I informed him I have video, recorded calls, and pictures to show what he did! The workers even brought a woman and children to the work site to play! I quickly sent them away saying it is not safe! BEWARE THIS COMPANY! IN PENSACOLA THEY LIED TO US AND CHEATED US! They put charges on the bill for work they did not do and charged for wood never replaced! Such as the rotten plywood next to our fireplace chimney this "boss" swore would be replaced 3xs he told me this in less than 15 min. Then spun around, spoke quietly and quickly to a worker, then ran to his truck and sped away. Before I could even turn around that worker was gluing that same plywood down and nailed tar paper over it!!!! BEWARE THIS EVIL, DISHONEST, POOR, SLOW EXCUSE FOR A ROOFING COMPANY!!!Tadlock Roofing, Inc.

When the Tadlock crew arrived the first morning of production our superintendent met with ***************** and addressed her concern of us starting work with a chance of rain that day. We gave her the option to have her job postponed but she did not want to do this due to the delay we had already experienced due to material shortages. She gave us permission to remove the shrink wrap to begin production. During the entire first day of production, ***************** walked around the jobsite berating and cursing at the crew and our superintendent. The crew secured the property and left after day one and refused to return to the jobsite due to how they were treated by *****************. On the second day of production our superintendent met with ***************** and requested that she not speak directly to the crew (different crew) and if she had any concerns to please present them to him directly. He remained on-site the entire time we were there. Due to rain, we were unable to finish on the second day and had to tarp a section of the roof overnight. There were leaks in the tarped area which we offered to have repaired but were told by **************** that if we would issue a credit on his invoice, he would handle interior repairs. We issued the credit and he signed a damages release form. On day three, our superintendent again met with ***************** and stayed onsite until the crew finished the job that afternoon. Several days after the job was complete ***************** called our office stating that the crew had children on the jobsite and that we did not replace all of the rotten decking on her roof. She claimed she had video of the children which we asked to be sent to us and that was never sent to Tadlock so it could be addressed. We have photo documentation of all wood replaced and that was emailed to her upon her request and coincides with the charges on her invoice.Review fromTammy K

POOR (ACTUALLY NO) COMMUNICATION, POOR PROCESSES, UNORGANIZED, LACK KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE. I didn't just have one bad experience, it just never got better. Tadlock Roofing sent someone out to provide an estimate. I was told I would get one estimate for one area the next day and the other area in a couple of days. I starting calling a few days later and they continue to say it would come that day. Weeks passed, no quote. Then they needed to come back out to look again, which they did, again weeks later no quote. During these weeks, I continued to get emails from them asking, how they can help and how are they doing and advertisements . I spoke with **** ( a supervisor). He was pleasant but seemed frustrated about these occurrences also. I requesting these frequent emails stop. After 2 months, I received a blank quote from a supervisor who asked that I call with questions, which I did and he never returned my call. **** said he was aware of the problem with the quotes coming out blank. He scanned and emailed it to me. I asked that the owner call me, but that never happened either. Additionally, I had their commercial division do some work for me. I paid the same day. I then received a **** for $1000. I called and they apologized. A month later, I received another $1000 ****. I called and they said it was in case I wanted to have more work done.... WHAT??? **** seemed to not have the resources available to make things happen. It is worth mentioning that I attempted to leave a 1 STAR rating on their site and after I wrote the review it was rejected. I contacted them due to their reported high ratings, but now I am suspicious. How can they be this highly regarded and have these most basic issues.Tadlock Roofing, Inc.

Hello, *****. I am writing as the Founder and CEO of Tadlock Roofing in reference to the concerns you outlined on the Better Business Bureau. As a company, we have served ******* residents for more than 40 years and take sincere pride in providing a five star experience, both on the customer service and production side of our business. I understand your frustrations with the lack of communication from the sales consultant, and wed like to state that consultant was terminated. I sincerely apologize, and understand your time is valuable and that it is a privilege of ours to earn your business. As for invoicing, I spoke with our finance department and show the first invoice was sent on May 4, 2022, and the corrected invoice with the price for a permanent repair was set on May 5, 2022. A past due notice was sent on June 3, 2022 and a follow-up email same day explaining the outstanding payment correcting and recapping the previous email. I would like to reiterate my sincerest apologies, and would love the opportunity to speak with you. You can reach me at ******************************* or **************. Thank you, **** Tadlock.
