Redpoint Tallahassee is fraudulently over-billing its residents for electricity during the end of summer months when the residents are not even present in their units. I am the guarantor for my daughter's (******* ******* lease while staying at Redpoint properties. The electric bill while they have been residents has averaged $45-$50 per month per tenant in their unit. With 5 tenants, that means that the entire electric bill for one unit is between $220-$250. The bill that was sent to them for August was $245 per resident. The residents were not even present in their unit for this time period. There is no way that 3-4 times the normal amount of electricity was used during that time period. The Redpoint management has consistently tried to deflect this blatant overcharge by sending the residents to Conservice or even to the city of Tallahassee. The Redpoint management is consistently difficult to communicate with - the listed phone number continually goes to voicemail and the management does not give out phone numbers that will reach them. The only way I have been able to communicate with them is by e-mail. The emails have been evasive and continually try to send the tenants to Conservice. Conservice, when contacted, tells the residents that it is a Redpoint Management error. Since the Conservice bill reads zero, I tend to believe the Conservice representative because the amount due only shows up on the Redpoint Bill. I am at the end of places to go for help. Redpoint is only interested in collecting extra money from fraudulent billing and not interested in doing the right thing and correcting this fraudulent bill. That is why I am filing this complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Redpoint Tallahassee needs to be held accountable for the fraudulent billing and any prospective tenants need to be made aware of this.

I moved into redpoint apartments on 08/12/22 Cleaning crew was sent out on move in day however they did not complete the job. We were told that they would be back, however never returned. The cleaning crew never returned. Due to allergies and medical conditions, from dog dander left in the sofa, I contacted the complex manager on Tuesday August 22,2022 in reference to notify her on the following concerns. I was told to take pictures and email them to management. An email was sent out on 08/27/22 in which today is 09/14/22 with no response whatso ever. We had to purchase cleaning supplies to make sure our sleeping space was sleep able. The following concerns are the fridge was very dirty and food was left in it and had a horrible smell, which attracted bugs which are now sitting dead inside the fridge. Also the fridge has a dent on the front. we should not be responsible for prior tenets messes. We have been spending out of pocket money to purchase food due to the fridge being very unsanitary. the sofa has a hole in it, one side of the stove is out and not working, and the dryer screams when you turn it on. As part of our lease agreement, we were told that we would have a newly furnished apartment and working appliances. The apartment remains the same till this day with no changes or response from management. Attached are the pictures provided, I would like for the apartment to be Cleaned. New appliances/ furniture, compensation for unclean living circumstances off the rent, and reimbursement for food spent due to unsanitary fridge.
