This company randomly popped up on my credit report and I have no idea where this comes from. It is affecting my credit and I need this resolved...Business response

I have forward an email to the agency who has the account. We the Alcoa Billing Center has recently taken over this ER physician billing. I have asked ARS that if they have placed this on their credit to please have it removed and send the patient something to let them know that this has been closed and deleted from their credit. I saw 3 collections on my account from this company from 12/20/2020, 8/20/2020, 4/24/2020 totalling $5,002. I do not owe anyone anything so I am very upset that this company is ruining credit and I don't even know who you guys are I've never even heard of your company.Business response

We the Alcoa Billing Center recently took over some ER physician billing in Florida. I would like to ask Ms. ***** if she could let me know who the patient was and their date of birth. Once I have that information I will be able to provide a positive outcome but until then I am not able to. We also bill for emergency room provider services. I have located for Ms. ***** ***** one emergency room provider bill with service date 09/27/2017 at St. Mary's ED Oklahoma. This date of service has a zero balance after insurance processing; there was no balance due from patient. I have no further accounts in our system for Ms. ***** that are with a collection agency. I has also reviewed our medical record system with Ms. *****'s name and date of birth; we have no accounts for dates 12/20/2020, 08/20/2020 or 04/24/2020. If Ms. ***** has account numbers for the above 2020 dates of service in question please let us know. Also, if patient name was different on date of service advise as our system is specific. I have been asked to locate your account. On behalf of the Physician Group I have sent an email to ARS and I have asked them to write off anything they have in their office on your behalf. In my email to the agency I have asked them to write off the invoices, I have asked them to remove this from your credit if they have placed this on there. I have also asked them to send you something showing this adjusted to a zero balance and something showing this has been deleted from your credit. I would like to say that the physician group doesn't place anything on anyone credit this is done by the agency. If there is anything else I can do please do not hesitate to let me know and again thank your for providing the date of birth. I have to reports on my credit report from Paragon Consulting working with Wakefield and Associates one is 3000 change and the other is 2000 in chain and I don't have anything to do with either of these companiesBusiness response

I would like to state that we the Alcoa Billing Center has taken over the ER physician billing. On behalf of the Alcoa Billing Center I have sent an email to Wakefield and I have asked them to write off the charges. I have asked them that if they have placed this on the patient credit to please have it removed and send Ms. ******** something in the mail showing this closed and removed from her credit. If there is anything else I can do please do not hesitate to let me know.
