1 starI cannot recommend ACS Home Service based on my experience with them. I had an AC unit installed by them in July 2024, and from the start, the unit leaked water onto the floor. This wasn’t a minor issue—it was a moderate leak that required us to either turn off the unit or place a bucket underneath it. I initially trusted their technician’s explanation that the coils just needed time to settle, and that if the issue persisted, they could return to address it. When a second technician came out, he confirmed that the unit was faulty and needed some adjustments. While I appreciated the assessment, it took multiple reschedules to get someone out. Fast forward four months, and the problem is still unresolved. Not only is the water still leaking, but now there’s mold growth from the ongoing moisture. What’s worse, ACS is asking us to pay for them to return and fix the issue on a fully paid, brand new unit that they installed by them less than 5 months ago. I feel misled and extremely frustrated with their lack of accountability and unwillingness to stand by their work. They’ve shown no commitment to resolving the issue without further cost to the customer. At this point, I wouldn’t trust them with any future services or recommend them to others.

1 starDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have been ripped off twice. Last year, I had ductwork installed through ACS. Cristian Perez was the sales rep. One of the incentives he offered for the purchase of the ductwork was the inclusion of a UV light. That never happened, and I have mentioned it to every technician who has been out here since, with no resolution. Also, the ductwork was not run to my master bathroom, so my master bathroom does not have climate control other than the air flow between the master bedroom and master bathroom. Now, after I take a shower, it smells mildewy in there. During the installation, the appointment was cancelled twice. The first time, I was told that it was because the crew had gotten sick, but later found out that it was because they were overbooked. The next time was after the crew had removed the existing ductwork. It was a week before the crew returned to install the new ductwork. In July, my AC stopped working. Justin Erving came out and told me that the float switch had triggered because of a clogged drain line. After I refused the $2,500 quote to replace the entire drain line system, I paid ACS $350 for him to clean the drain line (he only vacuumed, did not flush the line). Only for the AC to stop working again overnight. I had to pay another $350 to a better company to clean the drain line again. I made a request for resolution, and every week since July I get an email telling me they have not forgotten about me. It's clear to me that they have no intention of ever doing right by me.

Good morning Mr. P***, my name is Josh, owner here at ACS.
After reading through all email threads as well as listening to phone calls, as well as reading the most recent review you left our company, it is evident that our level of responsiveness and customer service is not at the standard that you require.
We are at the mercy of the manufacturer with these parts but I understand that this answer is not satisfactory.
Your most recent review read- Horrible. Stay clear of this place. "Horrible customer service. Nothing but problems and didn’t want to back it up"
No one should feel this way with their service provider and we apologize for wherever you feel we fell short.
This being said, I will be issuing a refund for the most recent service charges of $378. This includes a refund of the leak detection test and refrigerant. This way you can search for a company that you feel comfortable with.

I just had to purchase another new air conditioner because of your incompetence. You installed the wrong size air conditioner. I told you and your people this from day one. You refused to do anything about it other than wanting to charge me another $8000 to install the right size unit at my expense. I wasnt paying you another $8000 to fix your incompetence. Then Im without air conditioning for a month because your manufacturer cant get a part? This was a horrible experience from day 1. You basically told me to go pound sand. Because you put the wrong size air conditioner in from day one, it never did cool. I complained but was basically told to go pound sand. Now that I purchased another new one because of your incompetence, my air conditioner now cools correctly. I hope everyone stay clear of you guys. My aunt who is 95 years old put A new AC with this company in April 2024 and has broken down 3 times within 4 months of purchase They have replace the motor 3 times already and it broke down again and this will be the 4th time They also wanted to charge her for coming out here to see whats wrong with the brand new unit they put in. But they waived it thank goodness Now theyre telling us that theyre talking to the manufacturer to get a 4th motor But in the meanwhile, my aunt is without air-conditioning in this hot August month. I spoke to them to please send a technician, but they said that theyre backed up that they dont have enough technicians and that some manager will be contacting us to see what they can do. I asked them to please try to fix this in the meanwhile, while they figure out the warranty with the unit manufacture I asked also if they can just take the unit out and give my aunt her money back. 1 starPrice gauging customers and no explanation of what the the high charge was for. Zero transparency. Took it all the way to the owner and still nothing. They charge what they charge and you either like it or not. Get other prices and shop around. The tech who did the work was very nice and professional.Review fromRalph B

They fixed up my unit, explained things without any fancy words, and even gave me the lowdown on potential future issues. You can tell they know their AC game.Quick, efficient, and no messing around. I received very quick service from them at very affordable rates. ACS helped with my new AC installation. Although the mounting location changed due to some technical issues, the technician worked smartly and provided a few options and suggestions, all of which were very helpful. While the cost got a little higher due to the changes, they offered me a good deal for the maintenance contract. Either way, it went very smoothly.ACS Home Services

On Mon, Jul 4, 2022 at 2:21 PM, Ronisha ***** from Choice Home Warranty would not allow me to send the pictures from ACS Home Services to him comparing the pictures from another company Protek taken two days later. ACS told me my coil needed to be dipped in an acid bath at least three times and that I really needed a new air conditioner at the price of $7000 plus new duct work. The pictures from Protek were completely different pictures from the ACS pictures. ACS lied about the condition of my Air conditioner and tried to trick me into buying a new one. Even going as far as getting his boss on the phone to try to give me a hard sell. All that I asked Ronisha to do was look at the pictures and see what ACS was trying to do and to report the Incident to the person who hires these companies that are coming out to your Warranty customers. He said pictures wouldn't show anything but I told him these definitely show the difference between what ACS said and what is actually inside my unit. I told him to just cancel my membership because he didn't know how to relate to his customers. Once he canceled my membership he would no longer talk to me because he said I was no longer a customer. I believe the way he talked to me was about the worse any business has ever talked to me. I think somebody needs to know what these companies that are carrying out your warranty business are doing. 5 starsI'm satisfied with the work and service I received from ACS. They fixed the compressor and saved a few bucks for me. It took 2 days to fix, but ************ seamlessly. I'm feeling proud of my decision to call ACS.
