I am filing a complaint against ************************** (Account #******** regarding a lease-related debt they are collecting on behalf of Camden Aventura Apartments.I am a 100% disabled veteran and have made a good faith effort to resolve this matter. I sent a formal letter on April 15, 2025, requesting validation of the $4,079.85 debt. Specifically, I asked for:- Proof of payment application for my final rent (December 2022, paid in full)- How the security deposit was used or withheld - Final move-out documentation from Camden - An explanation of inconsistent balances (Camdens statement vs. Hunter Warfields claim)They have acknowledged receipt of my dispute but failed to provide the above. They continue to report the account to credit bureaus without proper validation, which is misleading and harmful to my credit.I respectfully request the BBB assist in resolving this matter by compelling Hunter Warfield to either fully document the debt or remove the account from my credit history. I am willing to provide all communications upon request.****Given that the amount reported by Hunter Warfield materially differs from the original balance provided by the apartment complex discrepancies which persist even when accounting for interest or fees I assert that the debt is inaccurately represented. Therefore, I request that this debt be fully dismissed and permanently removed from all credit reporting agencies due to failure to ensure accurate and verifiable reporting, as required under the Fair Credit Reporting ActBusiness Response

I called this company to do a payoff. On a dispute on my credit report under collections. I just wanted to call to make a payment arrangement to pay off the debt to have it removed. The person on the line tried to get my personal information, debit card or to purchase A gift card for me to pay two dollars to start and then an outrageous amount of repetitive bills of over three hundred and eighty seven dollars afterwards to fight the claim. The lady overtaked me. It was trying to get me to change my entire plan. Of action. I disputed this on my credit report because the charges should never have been placed on me by my rental company and they did a charge-off. But now I'm still stuck in a place where I'm trying to make a payment so that it's marked paid. But I can't use this company because they're trying to scam me out of more money, instead of setting me up to pay off the debt. On my credit report, and I don't know what to do at this point. To fix the issue i'm lost!! EVEN THOUGH THESE CHARGES WERE FALSELY PLACED ON ME AND MY SECURITY DEPOSIT WAS NEVER RETURNED TO ME FROM THE COMPANY and SENT IT TO THIS COMPANY. I JUST WANT TO SETTLE THE ISSUE. SO I HAVE SOME FORM OF DOCUMENT THAT STATES THAT THIS DEBT IS PAID OR REMOVED FOR false charges.
