I am not liable for the amount of $16,587 with HUNTER WARFIELD, LLC. I've never been in a contract with HUNTER WARFIELD, LLC. I have not been provided a contract stating that I owe HUNTER WARFIELD, LLC any amount to them. I am demanding that they remove this balance off my credit report.Business response

On June 13, 2024, I received a voicemail from ********************* from Hunter Warfield asking me to call him back. I called him back the same day. He said that he was calling on behalf of ***** Park Apartments in ********, ********. He said that I owe them $1600 (I can't remember the exact amount) and that I breached the contract. I told him I did not breach the contract. I moved out during the month that my lease was ending, which was November of 2023. I notified them 60 days in writing, and paid the said amount that the leasing manager told me to pay. I cleaned the apartment, and turned in the keys as I was supposed to do. I have emails showing the communication between myself and ************************* to show that I paid exactly what the leasing manager asked me to pay, which was $243.25. I asked them is there anything else, and they told me since I'm moving out on November 4, 2023, this the amount I would be responsible for. ********************* from Hunter Warfield then asked me did I receive an email from them about this; I said I never received anything from Hunter Warfield. He told me to check my spam, I said I delete emails in spam; I don't keep them. I asked ********************* to resend it, and he said he wouldn't; that I have to find it. I said I don't read anything in spam; I delete the emails because it's too much junk. He told me that I would have to find it....WHAT!!!! He said I owe them; I said no I do not... And he was so sarcastically nasty that I got angry and told him I moved out, I did what ************************** asked me to do, and that he was full of it. And I hung up. I haven't heard anything else from him. I never got any email from Hunter Warfield. Who are these people? Is this a scam? He wouldn't resend this so called email, and this company has never mailed me any documents. Bottom line is, I don't trust these people, and I'm concerned that they may be a scam...Business response
