      I have had an auto loan with GTE financial since 05/08/2022. I had been very satisfied with them until recently when I was experiencing a financial hardship and opted to use the once a year skip a payment option. I was told I would need to pay a $35 fee which I thought was reasonable except the fee can only be paid through a *********** or checking account. In order to open the account They would also need to perform a hard pull on my credit. To force an existing customer who is already experiencing ******************** stress into opening an additional account feels like predatory behavior and they are taking advantage of their customers.

      I had a mortgage from gte. I'm going through hard time to health issues. So I to sell pay and get the remaining to rent a place to stay. The closing done on 08/16/2024. I was told by my tille company waiting I will the refund from *** now about 4 weeks never received any money from them. I sent them several emails no response. I call them, they don't want to talk to me. And today rent a air is last day to pay them or move from I have no money to do any of them. Please help me get my refund.

      On 12/21/2020 I Finance a Home Loan with gte the purchase price was ****** I put down 5% off that amount. After a while my health status changed I can't work the hours I used to work I fell behind on my mortgage, so I decided to sell they can get their money back instead a foreclosure. When they sent the pay off request they requested ********* I called them to asked why so much she told me, she can't explain to me. because they don't owed me explanation. I said ok Ill them finished with everything than ***** refund me the excess, but after I closed on 08/16/2024 the little company told me in 2 weeks I will received the refund, almost 4-weeks I did not received anything I contact BBB but when BBB send me notification I could not read the message on 09/25 I finally able to do so their was a message from bbb a representative from *** stated they were going to deposited the money to my saving account. The account locked out off a long time ago. I don't have access too. After attempts the after hours services told their was $4800 dollars deposited to my account. I want to know why so small amount and why they collected the amount I never ow them. And all the money I paid on Principal what happened to it? I did not have interest only loan with them. My interest rate was 3.5% most of my payment went to the principal plus my down payment.

      This complaint refers to recent changes to GTE Financial (***) software that are dictating which email hosting companies a *** customer can use as part of transferring funds to an external (non-***) ********** part of transferring money to an external account the *** user is forced to re-verify their email address, and the *** software will not allow certain email hosting companies to be used, even though that same email has already been verified for use in accessing the *** users accounts.If the *** bank customer uses, say, ****** email they can verify their email address and transfer to external accounts, but if they use a company like ******** email hosting, as I do, it is impossible to verify their email address and therefore transfers to external accounts are impossible. My only options are the following none of which are good options:Get and use a different email account from a *** supported email provider (such as ******),Turn off a security feature called DMARC on my ********* email server that helps prevent email spoofing and SPAM.Get a different bank!My complaints are:**** took over a month of my time trying to get *** to escalate this issue to a high enough level to find out even roughly what the cause ******* violates the right to choose my own email hosting company restrictive practice?**** is inconsistent in the way emails are verified, applying a much higher standard for external transfers than it does for account *********** warning that this change was *********** list of approved email hosting companies that can be used with **** external transfer ************ detailed user error when email validation fails. (e.g. email is running on a non-supported email host)I would like to talk to someone at *** who truly understands why this restriction exists and try to get them to find a secure protocol for email verification for external transfers without using this email server restriction.

      I received a check from funds I received from a stock account. I deposited it and didnt realize there was a limit to the amount you can deposit which is $10,000.00 my check was $35,000.00. My husband passed away and this was part of money left to me. After 3 days I received a letter that said my check wasnt accepted and they destroyed the transaction. I callled and they were very rude I have banked with them more than 30 years. I asked how long the hold would be they never gave me a hold remover date. Probably 7 days. The seven days have come and gone I called again 2days ago still a run around said they can hold it for 15 days. Ive looked it up and I dont see any where that is possible. Its drawn on a Computer share account through ******** I took this money out to take my granddaughters on a camping trip with a group they belong to that was putting on a special weekend to celebrate their Pop Pop. Its a group for adults with Down Syndrome. my twin granddaughters have Down Syndrome. I had to quit my job and am trying to help my family while dealing with my husbands death. On top of that I am over drawn from bills that are automatically withdrawn and they keep denying. Please help me. ***************************

      I had an escrow overage and Gte sent a check to the wrong address. This was 4 going on 5 months ago. I have contacted them several times to have them reissue another check or credit the money back to my escrow account. They keep saying I need to complete an indemnity form for the check that they sent out. This is unheard of. How can I fill out a form that requires check information when I never got a check. I have worked for a bank for 23 years and the only time an indemnity form is required is when a person that purchased a cashiers check want to put a stop payment on it within a 90 day time period. Well GTE YOU PURCHASED THE CHECK. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE CHECK WAS NOT NEGOTIATED. It has been 4 months, almost 5 which is past the 90 day period. I want a new check sent to me or my escrow account ************************ back my money you have clearly stolen from me!

      I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against GTE Financial regarding their failure to clearly and openly disclose all associated fees or to provide adequate explanations of these fees when opening member share accounts. Had these fees been disclosed, I would have never opened an account with them.Up until the closure of my checking account on 07/14, ********************** was charging my account for declined transaction fees and overdraft fees, even after I explicitly requested that they not let my account go negative by turning off courtesy pay. As a result, I have incurred fees amounting to upwards of $200.00.I am seeking the return of all fees paid, as I believe GTE Financial's failure to disclose these fees and the manner in which the account was opened constitutes a bait-and-switch tactic.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

      I have an auto loan with GTE financial. The original loan was added to by adding car insurance to my loan which i didn't think you can do. I also already have car insurance. So how and why were they able to add this without my consent?

      Someone opened a checking account in my name for a GTE FINANCIAL CREDIT UNION CHECKING ACCOUNT. Listed on my ChexSystems Report is account # ********** that I have no knowledge of. I have no clue when the account was open and the reported address of ********************************************* which I have no knowledge of or am I associated with. It also states that whoever opened this account in my name owes an unpaid balance of $1120.64. I wrote 2 letters to you all and didn't get a response so I Filed a BBB complaint and wrote to The Attorney General to get this problem solved. Please send me all information pertaining to this account such as identifications use to open this account if there was any. Please send me all IP data if this account was opened online. Please send me all wet signature documents if this account was open in a local branch. Please remove this account from my ChexSystems Report as it doesn't belong to me because I did not open this account. If you cannot show me all of the above information as requested, then please remove this account from my ChexSystems report immediately.
