      you guys suck. i haven’t lived at my place for 4 months and still got billed. my fault for forgetting to cancel which i finally did in december and some how still got billed again in january and february for 88 dollars for a cancel fee and another energy bill i never used. they told me they can’t do anything about it.

      I'm a 100% disabled veteran living on a fixed income from the va. I called teco to see about getting me a payment extension for just 2 days because I don't get paid untill the 31st of December the last day for me to pay for the bill is the 29 of December. Teco told me that there is nothing they can do I'm not eligible for an extension. My bill is not more then one payment over due and I've always paid everything in full in the past.

      **** offers multiple types of audits. But try to make an appointment for one of them and customer service will tell you their system is having technical difficulties and could you call back in 20 minutes. Same response 2 hour later. And again same response 3 hours later. Apparently they do NOT want to audit your energy usage. What a scam

      Very poor service related to gas service initiation. I received an email stating my service would be turned on today 10/29/2024. The yesterday I received a call confirming that initiation between 8am and noon. I called this am to get an update and Im told it will be tomorrow. Someone needs to read the email that was sent to me advising that I had to be present all day. Very poor service and crazy communication. Unsatisfactory, Very Unsatisfactory !

      Unimpressed with TECO's work ethic & customer service. They take on more customers than they can service in a 48-72 hour span, and instead of hiring more subcontractors from out of state to come help, they just let their clients sit in the dark & thank them for their patience, because if they hired more help, that would cut into their profit margins. Better to save money and let the customers sit there. They told me my power would be back on yesterday, it wasn't. I'm 7 days with no power and now they're saying it will take 2 more days.. haven't seen 1 electric truck in my neighborhood this whole time. They havent even looked at the problem to be able to give us a proper estimte, when i click on the outage is just says "on our way to investigate".. TECO also made a post to the public saying they restored all of Polk County by Sunday 10/13, but that was a lie to the public to try and save face. There are still people in Polk without electric. Lakeland Electric and Duke are out here running laps around TECO. We went with TECO because we thought they were the better Company, but clearly we were mistaken. If you live in Polk county, don't get TECO bc you'll be last on their list, and be weeks without electric. I'm speaking from experience. We're in 2024, theres no reason it should take more than 48-72 hours to turn a clients service back on especially with all the out of state help. Thank God it wasn't that serious of a hurriane, because if it was a CAT 5, with TECO's work ethic we would be out of electric for weeks if not months. I'm starting to think TECO is getting a little big for their britches. Disappointed & dissatisfied to say the least.

      Doesn’t do the job correctly and wastes resources rushing to get things done. Needs to lower rates since they cannot be reliable or quick provider.

      Pine Ridge estates NO POWER after 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Power all around us and TECO 6 trucks just sitting on the road by my house!!!!!!!! You are LUCKY you have a monopoly and we have no choice!!!!!! If I could use a different company I would switch RIGHT NOW!!!!

      The effort, hard work and dedication to restore power after Milton catastrophe is nothing but outstanding. Two days without power with all the damage I have seen with my own eyes to see power restore in my neighborhood can only be achieve by top notch companies like TECO. I am speechless. I was expecting weeks of no power with all the trash and flooding all over the county BUT ONLY TWO DAYS? Thank you TECO and all involved in the community and local government to see these come through.

      Every time there’s a hurricane they are incredibly slow, this hurricane they gave us power then took it away after two days and left us with nothing ready and went ahead and removed it without warning which was terrible. There was also barely any damage done to our area so most of the area already had electricity but for some reason they removed ours. On a regular day they are good. I guess. By what I can see no one else has anything nice to say about this company and they obviously don’t plan on being any better.
