              Membership would not be cancelled until balance was paid . Originally told me I was going to be charged a flat fee for 3 months. I tried to cancel my membership before the 3 months was over but they would not accept until that time period passed. At the end of 3 months they attempted to charge me for an annual maintenance fee of approximately 60 dollars even though I barely attended the gym due to health complications. After that was attempted, I refused to pay that charge. I called multiple times that I was incorrectly billed and I wanted to cancel and they said they would keep charging me until it the balance was paid or it would be sent to collections.

              I told the receptionist that I had to cancel my membership because the nearest Crunch Fitness location is 30 minutes drive from my house. She said that I need to pay for extra one month membership fee to close the account. I told her I cannot pay for the service I will not use. She didn't close my account and continue to bill me monthly charge. I went to this location 2 months later to ask to close the account. She gave me manager's email. This manager didn't not reply my email for a month and asked me to pay for 4 months of membership fees that I didn't use. I replied that I cannot pay for the service I didn't use. This manager never replied my email. I received email from the corporate office that they will put the accumulating balance to collection.
