I starting going here due to a lot of pain in my legs At first Dr P******* was through and explained what was going on with my veins. Then I went for an ultrasound which was NOT explained well at all. I was told to climb a ladder like structure which was 8 ft or so in the air. Had to stand there for at least 1/2 hour.i was told people have fainted. I have a lot of anxiety ! This was a nightmare for me while the tech was hurting me and also telling me he would go into certain areas which would be uncomfortable. ?? Then was 1st treatment I was treated badly because I wouldn't wear their balloon shorts!. One could see up to my private parts. I insisted with a no. I was given a hard time and hissed at. The asst was abrupt and nasty. It wasn't until a mgr from Tampa came one visit that ii had some help. Then she couldn't return so I had nastiness and poor customer service

I went to the UVC near me over a year ago. Dr. F***** was the doctor at the time. I had a few procedures done, I had extremely bad bulging veins. At the time the staff was pleasant, friendly and I felt comfortable. I had been to another vein doctor and did not feel that way so switched to United Vein Center. A year later I cannot even look at my legs. There are so many black and blue that sometimes are purple marks, red lines all over my legs. This summer my hope to wear a dress is gone except for a maxi. I decided to go see the doctor and find out WHY. Dr. F***** or any member of that staff is no longer there. (I wonder why????) I continued with my appointment to see the current doctor, who did not impress me and right off the bat wanted me to buy support stockings since mine are over a year old....if stockings were the only solution why are they in business? I should have stayed with the first doctor since that office they are real doctors Vascular Doctors who actually work on heart patients. Should have let the incompetent staff there not sway me to change. DO NOT GO TO UNITED VEIN CENTER it is a TV ad

Dont go! I went to ************* ** location. Treatments, particularly spider veins, were extremely painful that I had to halt more injections. My legs have not improved and now have scars from infected glue that did not get absorbed. I went back twice for follow up ultrasound and they saw the infection and everyone thought it was an infected bug bite. No one ever mentioned it could be the glue. Ended up at wound doctor who after I mentioned vein injections discovered it as glue. And yet the vein clinic that actually injected the glue did not react or treat. The result is permanent dark dimpling on my calf. And now, 7 months after injection, the other calf has the same glue issue! I just came back from having *************** ********** remove the glue on this leg. I understand that this can happen, but to not treat it when they saw it in ******* is inexcusable. I will never go back and will discourage others not to, also.

BEWARE! Medicare does not completely cover these services. This company has devised a way of extorting money from Medicare under the guise of needed deep vein work - the health of my legs is NO different. The only difference is that my bank account has less money in it than before I had this procedure. The inference of this company's television commercials is that a patient with Medicare will not be charged. Secondly, they infer and (I was also told when I specifically asked) that the spider veins would disappear or lessen tremendously after a period of time. Neither of these statements is true. Medicare was charged a tremendous amount and then they billed me additionally $1289.00 which I paid. I am now in receipt of another bill from them! I would not have submitted to the pain and inconvenience of this service if I wasn't lead to believe that, 1., Medicare would cover the services 2. That the ourtward appearance of veins on my legs would improve.

United Vein Center of Naperville, IL offers FREE consultations but well bill your insurance. They are scamming Medicare. I called their billing dept and they wouldn't tell me why.

The whole United Vein Center commercial and process is a fraud. The process is an assembly line waiting for the next victim to sign up. I went there twice and the first time I wasn't treated because they couldn't find anything. Kudos to the first group. It had been a year or so so I went unfortunately to the one on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater as a follow up. The kept asking are my legs tired, restless to the point an ultrasound is needed. It took the guy 45 minutes of searching high and low and KY jelly soaked underwear to find what he thought were some good candidates. So I signed up for a procedure. Supposedly I had 4 veins that were bad and all had to be done at different times. I was told repeatedly and through follow up calls that I was all set with my insurance. To me that means it is covered. To them it is free money because I didn't ask specifically how much I would have to pay out of pocket. The commercial that talks about free isn't free at all. Possibly if on Medicare but my nationwide brand insurance did not cover supposedly because of deductibles. So I had the 30 minute procedure done and I receive a bill for $1413 with a late fee of 251 dollars when I received the bill only 2 weeks ago. The procedure is $3000 for 10 minutes of laser zapping a vein and 15 minutes of compression fitting. I called to follow up and all that I was told is they do not have time to let patients know what is out of pocket unless they ask. Shame on me for not asking after being told it was covered by insurance both verbally and on the commercial. The whole thing is deceptive and their advertising and information given to patients needs to be reviewed. I am sure there are many more such as myself who have been taken advantage of and the few shown who have had issues is only a very small percentage of actual victims.

09/08/2021I was diagnosed with venous insufficiency-dates below I had procedures called ablation of veins:10/22/21(1st procedure),10/29/21(2nd),12/17/21(3rd),12/21/21(4th)by: United *************** Centers of *************** ********************************************************** 33431-**************************************.On the visit for my 3rd procedure,I reported to **************** that my compression stockings, were washed and dried in the dryer after I had worn them for 7 days immediately following my 2nd procedure. At the 3rd procedure,**************** mentioned that he did not have my size compression stockings in stock to sell **** continued to wear my existing compression stockings. On the visit for my 4th procedure United Vein still did not have compression stockings in my size in stock.I wore for 7 consecutive days post procedure. After the 4th procedure,I presented extreme pain in my legs, pulling sensation, bruising,my knees started to be numb, and I started to have varicose veins all over both my legs.At my 1/11/22appointment with *************** wrote on the report that I did not wear the compression stockings following my 4th procedure and therefore I was not in compliance with medical post procedure recommendations. At my 1/21/22appointment with United Vein,I found out that *************** is no longer with the company.I saw ***************************** that day.He told me that my numbness, pain, and varicose veins are caused by my scoliosis and my age(I am 45 years old).***************** mentioned that on the medical report for the 1/11/22visit, it was noted that I did not wear the compression stockings after my 4th procedure.I explained to ***************** that I DID wear the compression stockings according to the post procedure instructions. After the last appointment with United Vein, I consulted with the following medical professionals in order to find out the cause of the numbness and pain with my legs:PCP,Chiropractor,Spine,Neurologist. The reports from all the doctors confirmed that the numbness and pain are not caused by my scoliosis.
