Gale Healthcare solutions has a late call policy for when there is a late request for an independent contractor nurse to fill a position at a facility that utilizes Gale Healthcare Solutions (****) to fill these positions. The policy states that if nurse agrees to work the shift, and arrives on time to the shift, the nurse will be paid for the entire 8 hour shift whether the shift is cancelled or not. I picked up a late call shift, I arrived on time to the requesting facility, I worked the entirety of the required shift until the facility said they no longer needed assistance from a nurse, and sent me on my way. **** is refusing to pay me for the 8 hours, stating that I did not finish the shift, when I did. I worked the entire shift the facility required, and despite the late call policy that **** promises on their website, they are only paying me for the hours I was in the building. This is not the first time there has been this issue. **** consistently withholds holiday pay, deducts for lunch breaks that were never taken, and refuses to ever correct the error when consistent evidence and receipts are provided. I am wanting the BBB to investigate Gale Healthcare solutions, because I believe they are billing the facilities money that they are not dispersing to the independent contractor nursing staff that they recruit with false promises of policies they refuse to hold themselves accountable to. This is a consistent issue across **** Healthcare of *******.Business response

*************************** was very unprofessional the way she handle my account. She had me doing all the steps to get hired, but couldnt get pass the I9 part, due to it not being compatible with my phone. She was hustling me to get finished, and I did everything that was asked. Just needed another day, to do the I9, because needed to be at a desktop. She made sure I wasnt hired afterwards. Never experienced such unprofessionalism.Business response

The recruiter, ***************************, handled this applicant in **********, **. She was VERY professional, called and was texting the applicant, working with her even on Saturday and Sunday and with no response from the Applicant . She tried to get the applicant to sign her i9 but she was unable to do it on her phone and didn't try to sign any other way.
Everything was very polite and all messaging was professional.Customer response
