I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the level of service I received at Jerry ***. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change and tire rotation this past Sunday. During that visit, I was informed that my car required steering wheel maintenance and replacement of the front shocks. Unlike most dealerships, I was not provided with any written documentation of the inspectionno printout, summary, or even the standard video inspection that many modern service centers provide. Despite this, I agreed to the recommended repairs and scheduled an appointment for April 4th.I dropped off my car at 7:00 AM on April 4th and, disturbingly, did not receive any communication until the end of the dayonly to be told that the parts were not in stock and no work had been done. That alone was a red flag. I was then told the parts were being ordered from a dealership in ********** and that my vehicle would be ready later that day. However, after hearing nothing further, I followed up with multiple phone calls, texts, and voicemails, none of which were returned.When I finally managed to get through to someone, I was passed around with no clear answersoften just directed to voicemail. It turns out the part had still not arrived, and my car was still not repaired. On top of that, the receptionist at Jerry *** was extremely rude. She hung up on me multiple times and has a habit of telling customers how and when they are allowed to speak to her, which is completely unacceptable behavior in any professional setting.This experience has been a complete waste of my time and money. I have had to rely on **** for transportation, racking up unnecessary expenses, all while receiving zero updates and abysmal customer service.The level of disorganization, poor communication, and outright disrespect at Jerry Ulm is beyond unprofessional. Known issue that happens with all of the newer **** 10speed transmissions. Transmission slipping, jerking, or hesitating Transmission not shifting properly Harsh shifting Jerky driving Transmission slipping Problems shifting gears Skipping gears Delayed gear shifting Lurching forward This happened on the interstate the other day and I had to pull over because when it downshifted it felt like I was rear ended - **** states this is normal which it is not and there is already a pending class action suit over this. The vehicles are UNSAFE and the consumer should know about it prior to buying - The dealer sold me a vehicle with the knowledge of known transmissions issues with these 10speed transmissions. Also had to buy new tires and brakes a month after purchase and NEVER got my second key that was promised.Business Response

I took my car to the dealer Jerry Uhm on **** ***** in Tampa, ******* on March 12, 2025 to have routine maintenance 10 days later my car was leaking oil and an unusual sound I went back to the dealer and told them what I was hearing and seeing, they said okay we will take a look, later they said the leak was because we missed something the first time, the noise they stated, we need more time for the an evaluation they said, it was the alternator when they fixed that another issue came up and so on now they have had my car all this time with no definite date of repairs I have been informed they are waiting on some part on April 9, 2025 I was sent a message stating they needed more time and they needed a gasket, they gave me a rental car but told me I need to cover the insurance while paying the insurance on my car and my car note, I use my car to work with and they have given me no definite time or date not even an estimate on when my car will be ready, during the diagnosis on my car they never said there was an issue with any of these things that they are holding my car for.Business Response

To Whom It May Concern,I am filing this complaint against Jerry Ulm Dealership and ********************************* for their role in an unauthorized and deceptive repossession of my vehicle on March 22, 2025.On March 8, 2025, I purchased a 2023 Dodge Charger R/T from Jerry ***. I paid $1,500 down, traded in my previous vehicle, and was given full possession. I legally drove the vehicle from March 8 to March 22 without issue.Without any notice, Perfection ********************** entered my apartment complex and took the vehicle. This company is not authorized or contracted by the apartment complex, making their presence and actions unauthorized and unlawful.I later learned that Jerry Ulm hired Perfection Towing directly, despite no legal default, court order, or repossession notice. Unfortunately we were not able to obtain financing for Mr. ******** We had multiple phone conversations and emails with Mr. ******* requesting him to bring our vehicle back. He did not comply. After a week we had perfection towing pick up our vehicle. The dealership is protected by the sellers 45 day right to cancel provision in our contract. Bought my car a year ago, I have had nothing but problems with the car since Ive had it, its been in a shop more than actually driven. Getting nothing but a run a round from the dealership and false information just to be passed off so they dont have to deal with it. Over charged for a rental due to their lack of time management to finish a job. Very disappointing the level of lack of customer care. ********************** does not follow through with paying customers if they have concerns and reach out. Multiple attempts made to contact, messages left and no call back. Concerns made regarding status of the vehicle and safety and just get passed off, been dealing with this treatment for months. I take back any recommendations I gave others to buy here. Car has had transmission replaced and now new engine replaced and still has a sound that it never had when it went in, techs claim its fuel injectors but I got confirmation it was not its internal issue.Business Response

im filing a complaint against this company due to the many lies to at the time i purchased the vehicle. the finance guy(****) advised me my monthly payment would be $870 including 2 warranties and my payment of my car. today 01/27/25 that im trying to use one of the warranties came to find out that was not the case that i only have one warranty that i was lied too and they are asking me make an addtl payment to the get other one. If i make the additional payment that will take my monthly payment higher then what im already paying and thats already unfair as i have already asked if those 2 warranties were already included on my payments. the warranties were to fix the electrical and tires on the vehicle. the one for the electrical is showing but the one for the tires is now missing and that is the one they are asking me to pay for. i need help to have my tire fix as i now have a flat tire and i have asked the dealership to please fix it thinking i have this warranty on file but since its not on file i might have to pay for it. but now that i have tell them that im filing a compaint with bbb they have agree to fixed it this one time but still not fair because if its happens again i will be resposible for it. they should take respossible for what they did. they lied to me. i firmly believed this is fraud. thank youBusiness Response

After negotiations on 2019 hellcat we shook hands on ****** price After rushed through financial **** and going home I noticed they put purchase price at ****** On top of that they added,paint protection,low jack,and tint on a used car that they pulled out of showroom and handed me keys. No prep work whatsoever. Purchased a new Jeep Wrangler 4xE on 12/28/2024. I mentioned several times I was a loyal jeep owners if there was any incentives to buy a second jeep. I was told I got you but the sales person. Now I find out there was a $1000 gift card for loyal jeep owners as well as a free yeti cooler with ALL new jeep purchases. I contact the dealer and I was told they sales person will reach out to me. He did and claims oh you did not purchase MSRP. Nowhere in the promotion mentions requires **** purchase. Vehicle was sold as new for $55968.34 minus manufacturer rebates. but we found a registration on the glove compartment and the carfax shows the vehicle was registered already once. I requested the sales person to provide the yeti cooler and the $1000 **** gift card and he claims the vehicle was not purchase at **** but first nowhere does the page has that disclaimer. The business has still failed to provide response as how they will fix the carfax that shows vehicle has already had a previous owner, as well as vehicle still requires the seal replaced on the passenger rear window as was agreed. That seal is still pending. But the more pressing matter is the carfax showing vehicle had 1 previous owner affecting the value of the vehicle since it will now show 2 owners unless dealer corrects the carfax as it was promised.

I am rejecting this response because:The Carfax was updated, but now shows the vehicle was previously a LEASE and then was sold again to me as a SECOND OWNER. Therefore, the dealer failed to mention the vehicle was used not new, therefore, affecting value of the vehicle, and they claimed in multiple occasion they did not know, but how could they not know if the vehicle was leased in their own location. They have failed to provide any written statements to corroborate the vehicle is new, and attemps to solve the problem in person have not resolve the issue. The vehicle was sold as new, the loan was processed as a new car, but the records contradicts the dealer statements and the dealer selling the vehicle as new. They claimed in a phone call I received they will be fixing the carfax. The window seal that is damage I was told in person, they order the part and they will fix it, but as of today, I have not received any written evidence that they will fix the window seal, and the bubbles in the passenger window tinting was also allegedly to be fixed when the seal arrives. But request to receive in written all the promises have not been received.
They have not fixed the carfax as of today, instead now shows 2 owners. I have tried to contact their General manager in 2 occasions and no response using their own webpage contact the manager. In person I have only been met with resistance and attitude by most of their team.
-Jeep connect shows expired and no trial membership was provided, because was used by previous owner
-They refused to acknolegde vehicle was sold previously and claimed was not and was new. Even when records shows it was not.
-During the purchase process the question was asked multiple times if the vehicle was new, and sales person, sales managers and financial manager all claimed it was new, they would not be able to sell a vehicle that was not new as new. But carfax and florida registration shows otherwise.
I request all communication should be in written and to send an email or a letter with all the steps and promises that are being made and how they would address the value of the vehicle and the selling of a vehicle as new, when it was not.

On 12/1/24 I bought a 2014 dodge viper gts from the showroom of jerry ulm dodge for $88,200. Firstly this was $2,200 more than what was it was posted on from ************. I was informed this vehicle had under went 125 point car inspection. This was a lie as they marked everything off as green and in good condition. I drove up from *************, **, a 366 mile road trip to pick up this vehicle. A few days after picking it up. The vehicle losses power on the highway causing me to swerve off into the grass. The motor is locked up and has a rod knocking. I get the vehicle towed and turns out this vehicle has no oil. This vehicle holds 11qts of oil. It is physically impossible for this vehicle to run dry in less than 700 miles unless negligence from the dealer when they did their inspection. It has now been weeks and the selling dealer jerry ulm dodge will not honor their mistake. Not only that, they have sold me an extended warranty from Dealer general warranty and wont put in paper that they sold me a vehicle that has no catalytic converter or oem headers. Therefore, the extended warranty will not cover the repairs. This dealer is an absolute nightmare and a fraud. I refuse to believe this vehicle had a 125 point inspection. Now im short roughly $15k in a new engine for fraud from the selling dealer.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Latest update I received from the service manager ****** ******* is "We have already taken the oil pan out of the car to inspect, found a spun rod bearing damaging the crankshaft, the car will need an engine assembly. We have already sent the diagnostic and the estimate to the extended warranty and are currently waiting on a decision from them. As soon as I get an answer I will let you know, usually takes about a week as they are way backed up is what they told us. 1/7/25

Dropped my truck off for oil change and tire patch. 4 hours later I inquired as to the status of the vehicle to be told the tire cannot be patched that I would need a new tire. I told the *** I have held tread left and it nail is in the center of the tire. Thats not possible. The tire can be patched. After literally arguing he goes to talk to the technician. Comes back and says the tire has already been patched truck is ready. Felt very shady then drove home and a few days later noticed rim damage to the center cap / lug. Notified the dealership. No one called me back. Messaging the advisor basically told me he cant find footage so nothing he can do cant prove one way or the other. Wheee the damage is clearly is from the rim coming off and on. Couldnt even get a manager to call me. Horrible service prolly number 1 in tire sales due to unethical business practices.
