Jerry Ulm in Tampa, FL has the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I have been trying to cancel my extended truck warranty for 3.5 months and it is still not done. Steven Heard in finance never got back to me about this and left me to the wolves, Mr. M in finance has communicated slightly more than Steven however this is still not done, and the finance director Adam, has not called me back in weeks and is always "in a meeting" when I call. Now, I will have to take the time out of my day to drive to Tampa where I bought a truck for nearly $65,000 to get this handled. Jerry Ulm's team is highly incompetent when it comes to providing a pleasant experience for the customer after they have driven off the lot. I will make sure to deter anyone from buying a vehicle at Jerry Ulm!

This dealership will charge you as much as legally possible and work every penny out of you. Multimillion dollar business and allegedly the largest ram dealer in USA. they squeeze the customers for 3.5% credit card fee in service dept. They push extra insurances on you hard then when you go to cancel them a year or two later they run you around, make you fill out a ton of forms of which some need to be notarized. Then they bounce you from person to person in a cycle pattern over several months to frustrate you and burn you out. They don’t want you to cancel your 4k in extra policies you bought. I bought 3 vehicles at the same for close to 300k. This is the greediest dealer I have ever dealt with! They are going to play you like a fool and waste your valuable time.

The worst car buying experience I have ever had. I would never reccommend this dealership to anyone! They use bait and switch tatics and they shopped my credit report to 5 different lenders when I told them to only go to two. They took my keys to appraise my car and never gave them back to me so I couldn't leave even after I asked them multiple times to give my keys back. They they tried to raise the payment that was promised to me an additional $600 when it came to signing paper work. If you ever want to buy a car from them, dont take a trade because I got nothing for my trade at all. If you must buy from them, I advise you to get your loan before you get there and then work out the price. They will inflate the online price 7-8 thousand dollars when it comes to making a purchase.

As some previous reviews have stated, BEWARE of their certified pre-owned vehicles and service department. They are NOT doing the vehicle inspections on their CPOs as advertised. Purchased certified pre owned from them December 4, 2023. On December 15, 2023 I had to bring the car in because the oil change was never done. I brought the car in for an oil change and inspection July 20, 2024. Inspection done and no issues. Now in November 2024 they are saying my breaks are completely worn, metal on metal. That means on the July visit they either never did the inspection or lied. Also, that means the break pads were never changed in the first place with the CPO inspection. Now they want $1,400 for break service that could have been avoided if they actually did their CPO inspection or if they did the inspection in July. Extremely disappointed. They are not inspecting the vehicles like they say they are.

Bought a 2025 1500 Limited from this Shady dealer. Several underhanded moves, I should've known better. They'll move papers by you so fast so you don't catch the ** they try to pull. Cherry on top is the ************* Is even worse. Bait and switch who they'll finance you thru to line their pockets. My documents list who I asked it to be financed with, after the fact and without even so much as a call they switched to who they prefer. When. I called him out about it, I got a "sorry but it too late now". He couldn't have cared any less. STAY AWAY

I purchased a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealership last November and had it towed in recently as it was unable to drive due to Accelerator issues. Unfortunately, they took nearly 2 Weeks to provide me an overpriced quote, of roughly $4,200 when an alternative shop providing the service quoted $2,900. When I went to tow the vehicle out of the dealership, the Sales representative stated that it would take up to 8 hours to tow it out, which was false, it took less than an hour. When the tow truck arrived, I was disheartened to witness another employee of the dealership drive a new Dodge into the tires of the tow truck, causing a dent to form on the Driver's Side Door. The employee then glanced at us stating "Don't tell anyone", then proceeding to book it out of the lot. My vehicle is now towed out and I am relieved to say that I will never be back here!

I bought a 2021 Jeep Compass from this dealership and one week after driving it it broke down. I was told by dealership (Salesman) to have it towed in and they would fix the problem which would be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty that I paid extra for. The Salesman said he would get back to me the next day but never did. I called him a few times and he kept saying he would get back to me, but days went by and still I heard nothing and it got to the point he stopped answering my calls all together. So I then called the service department to see what was going on with the Jeep but they told me they could not find it and had no record of as being there and told me they would look into it and get back to me. I waited about 3 days and when they still didn't call I called them back a few times and they always said they would look into it and get back to me which they still never did. I continued to call them but at which point they didn't answer my calls anymore either like the Salesman did, the last time I talked to them I could here laughing in the background at the mention of my name. I'm disabled and get social security disability as well as a small check from the V.A. every month so I am far from rich. The only reason I could afford to buy a car after 20 years is I got some inheritance from my mother passing away. BBB please put the word out there so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

They try to auto charge you for lo jack. I told them I didn't want it and to remove it. They talked me into help pay for the labor to remove it. $200.00 I was just driving my truck after 1.5yrs and the lo jack box made by Spireon dropped down on my foot. So, they charged me to remove something that they didn't. Not only that Spireon is out of business. What a scam. Never buy from them ever again.

I am compelled to report a deeply concerning experience at Jerry Ulm Chrysler Jeep Ram in Tampa, FL. During my visit, I witnessed an alarming encounter involving employees Roberto G****, Gehad S*****, and Bryan A*****, who displayed unprofessional and potentially illegal behavior towards a well-informed young customer. These employees responded to the customer's knowledgeable questions about his rights with hostility and even threatened police involvement, which seemed more like an intimidation tactic than a legitimate action. The young customer expressed his intention to file formal complaints with the FTC, the Attorney State General, and the CFPB due to the dealership's apparent non-compliance with critical consumer protection laws such as the Truth In Lending Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and the Consumer Credit Protection Act. This behavior not only undermines trust in the dealership but also highlights a serious disregard for legal obligations and customer respect. Furthermore, I personally received a notification from American Credit Acceptance regarding a denial of an account, a decision that appears to contravene the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. This incident, along with the treatment observed, indicates a troubling pattern of behavior at this dealership. These issues must be urgently addressed to ensure that the dealership complies with all relevant consumer protection laws and to restore public confidence in their commitment to ethical and lawful business practices. Such actions are essential to prevent further damage to consumer trust and to uphold fundamental consumer rights.
