      My home was damaged by hurricane *** and I file a claim to get the property restored to the original condition. The claim was filed on October (CHO-00153943) but the response was received only until January, I understand that due to the problems created by this natural disaster the response was delayed, however, the amount that we receive is not near to the amount that was accessed by the public adjuster, since then, we've been trying to get in communication with the insurance adjuster's but she doesn't responde to all the emails and never actually provides an update, when she replies she is always asking for 3 to 5 business days because they are working on it. It has been almost 7 months since I started the claim and I need to get the roof of my house fixed, the tarp is past the end of the life and no resolution has been presented to me. Currently the public adjuster that I hired is asking for a settlement but no answer has been provided. It cannot be possible that all this time the company still without providing an answer but when is the time to collect the insurance payment they are really quick about it.

      My home in Florida (fully insured by American Integrity) was damaged as a result of Hurricane *** on 9/28/2022. I filed a claim with this company for the damages to the property which consisted of full roof replacement, air conditioning (HVAC) system replacement, lanai screen replacement, interior ceiling paint for water spots, and sliding glass door replacement on 9/30/2022. The company assigned a claim #CHO-00136503 for my damages and on 12/7/2022 the company sent me a partial settlement ($3,700) which was substantially less than the estimated cost of repairs ($33,000) and only referenced the roof and lanai screens in the settlement documents. I subsequently submitted five estimates for damage repairs from the licensed contractors I chose and asked for my claim to be re-opened for supplemental claims on 12/21/2022. My claim has been re-opened and has been in a state of limbo ever since. My claim has been passed through 7 different desk adjusters (who all work for ******** Claims) and I have not received any additional settlement money for my claim. I have emailed and called the various adjusters almost daily and get either no response or vague answers/promises of call backs that never happen and no information as to the status of my claim. I would like you to assist me with obtaining a settlement on my claim as I am currently $12,000 out of my own pocket to proceed with repairs. Current Adjusters name is ***************************, phone is ************, email is **************************** Her supervisor is *********************, email is ************************* This situation has gone on for too long without a resolution. This company is treating it's paying customers unfairly and needs to be investigated.

      I am rejecting this response because: The business has still not completed the claim process on two open items, ceilings repaint due to water spot damage and sliding glass door replacement due to frame damage.  I do understand that these items are still being worked on by the adjuster and I will allow additional time for them to complete the process on those items.

      I am also rejecting this response because: I am disputing a discrepancy on a charge against the "Roof Repair Line Item #** of $3087.72" that was paid to another company for the emergency roof tarp replacement in February 2023 to prevent further damage due to the failure of the original protective tarps.  The company has charged this as a roof repair and it has nothing to do with the roof repair, it was a preventative measure!

      The company's response regarding only just receiving my supplemental claims information is not a true statement, this complete supplemental claims information package was provided numerous times to various desk adjusters beginning on 12/21/2022.  I am rejecting that excuse for the delays in processing!

      There is no excuse for these claims to have taken four months and BBB intervention to begin to be resolved!

      I am rejecting this response because: on 4/16/22 I sent an email to the adjusters requesting an answer to a specific item of dispute that has nothing to do with "my contractors", it is an item that was incorrectly charged to my settlement by the adjusters,  I have not received a response to that dispute. See attached email!

      I do understand that the other 2 items are outstanding issues and they are being worked on by the adjusters.

      I am rejecting this response because: Although I have reached a satisfactory agreement with the adjusters on my claim, I would like to keep my complaint open until the promised payments have been delivered.  One check was issued on April 26th, but has still not been delivered by mail as of today May 9th.

      There will also be a final "recoverable depreciation" payment that still needs to be processed after I provide proof of completion of the roofing project to the adjusters. 

      Once these final payments have been received, I will accept the settlement and close the complaint.

      We had damage as a result of Hurricane ***. We hired a public adjuster who had several professionals access the damage to our property and place a dollar amount for what the repair costs would be. American Integrity sent us a check for 1/10th the repair estimate, clearly ignoring parts of our policy that should have resulted in coverage and substantially underestimating other damage. We have been trying for many months to set up mediation with the Florida ********** of ********* Services. Our public adjuster and we have sent several requests for the **** to coordinate with American Integrity. They are claiming that they never received mediation requests even though the **** stated that requests were sent.

      Claim CHO ********. More details to follow, but in essence we were offered less than $1000 to repair our roof but every roofing company that has ************** states that it must be replaced, let alone that our shingles have been discontinued. I have been calling multiple times daily and leaving voicemails to my desk adjuster for months and an estimate from the roofing company is "still in review." I have had to forward along to any new desk adjuster I get and the situation starts all over. I call customer service, but they are unable to help "per policy." We are approaching the season of heavy rain and currently only have a tarp that is nearing the end of its lifespan. I did get in touch with a supervisor but I am also being informed from her to stay patient and it is still under review. We filed a hurricane claim after hurricane *** and it took approximately 1 month for an adjuster to come to our house to inspect the damages. He did not go up on the roof nor attempt to get better visibility using a ladder. He did not inspect the leaking by going into our attic. The two inspectors spent an average of less than 10 minutes on my property. We are now nearly 6 months out from the hurricane and there is no progress or review of our claim. I have evidence of every email and every phone call placed.

      When seeking home insurance run from this company. We filed due to Hurricane *** back in September. We had roof damage, two windows damaged with water and mold starting to grow under the carpet due to the water getting in through a window. AI sent someone out within 2 weeks and he was in and out very quick. He didnt even go through all of the rooms in my house. Thank god we hired a claims company and they were able to find the mold for us!! And tell us which windows had water damage, they found more damage outside our home etc etc. Bottom line, mold is a serious issue and I have a child in the house, as a parent how scary that is I cant even begin to explain. Not only did AI not answer our claims company, they issued us a check for around 7K which didnt even state the windows that were damaged or the ****** They issued the check to the wrong company and then never sent another one even after being contacted!! Its been almost 6 months now and we still have yet to even be any sort of funds. We have had to pay out of pocket for many things, our savings is pretty much gone due to them not answering anyone. After giving them all this time, we have decided to take them to court and fight for our rights and hope that no other family has to deal with these issues ever again. This company is not meant for anyone to have, especially for someone who has a family. Anytime my son coughs I start to think of that mold they didnt even catch. Please be careful and dont go with this company.

      On 09/28/2023 our home and barn was damaged by Hurricane ***. American Integrity is not responding to phone calls or emails and has said they are not paying for contents insurance or any other structural repairs to our home and barn. American Integrity hired an engineer to come to our home to inspect our roof along with a tarping company. The tarping company has placed tarps on our 12 foot pitch roof. American Integrity has stated there is no damage to our roof although the roofing company said there was and even felt the need to place tarps on our roof. We have requested copies of the engineer report several times and they have not complied. American Integrity stated our barn was damaged due to flooding which is not true. Our barn took on major damage when the roof, walls and doors were blown off and apart and we had torrential rain (22") for approximately 7 hours causing rain and wind driven damage. The flood occurred the next day. The damage was already done before the flood hit. I have called Senator ***************************** office, who American Integrity is ignoring as well. I am regretful that increased my coverages on our outbuildings as we knew the coverage they initially had was too low if a major disaster occurred. We have paid for additional coverage since 2012 and never had a claim. I have never been so disappointed with how a company who is supposed to protect you can be so blatantly irresponsible towards it clients.

I submitted two claims with them as follows:Claim No. CHR-********, loss date 08/28/2022, Hurricane *** (windstorm)Claim No. CHR-********, loss date 12/21/21, Tornado (windstorm)Despite all of my efforts to obtain payment for these losses, American Integritys website simply shows the claims as closed. However, American Integrity has not issued a formal denial of my claims, something I needed in order to proceed with FEMA (if indeed the claims are denied).For the Hurricane *** claim (No. CHR-********), on Oct. 23, 2022, American Integrity sent a field adjuster, ****, who took photos of the damage. On Nov. 17, 2022, I spoke with adjuster **** and he confirmed that he uploaded all photos and his report. On December 9, 2022, **** provided me with the desk adjuster name, ***********************. On Dec. 13, 2022 I spoke with ************** who initially said it was a full denial of the claim but then recanted and said that she would call me back with more info. I spoke with ************** again on Dec.17, 2022, and she stated that the claim was not denied but that she needed to send out a structural engineer, and that she needed photos and a content list, and that adjusters do not upload that information. On December 21, 2022, the structural engineer called to schedule an appointment for ********************* on December 22, 2022 at 8 a.m. On December 22, 2022, no one showed. I called, received no answer, left multiple messages, and never received a call back or explanation as to why they didnt show. Then on January 18, 2023, I checked the American Integrity portal only to see that my claim has been closed. I have attempted, numerous times, to reach ************** for an explanation, only to receive no response at all. For the Tornado claim, American Integrity followed a similar pattern. After the claim was filed, the case was closed, with no explanation and no denial letter.

      Anerican Integrity sent me a denial of claim letter because they didnt agree with the sworn statement of loss, not as they stated to the BBB  Damage and losses ocurred from a Flood. The damages and losses occurred were caused by Hurricane ***, and not a flood, in which my policy covers all personal property losses, loss of use,  fungi, mold, wet or dry rot, or bacteria due to a Hurricane. American Integrity  has not made a settlement for which I was completely covered through the policy I hold.

      My home was completely damaged by Hurricane *** 9/28/22. Since that date I have been trying to be paid for the damage to my home. The roof was gone, ceilings inside house collapsed, and nearly all the drywall had to be removed, mold remediated and now trying to rebuild. Drywall alone is over $23,000, entire kitchen was destroyed, windows, walls, garage ceiling. Winds dislodged the air handler in the attic. Water came in through a soffit allowing water into the master bath and closet so all of that had to be removed. My house is uninhabitable. I am on my 4th desk adjuster and have not received a single ***** from American Integrity. An outbuilding was lifted and tossed, completely destroying that. My claim is over $300,000 and I am trying to rebuild but havent received anything. This was CAT 5 water! They need to pay! My roof replacement was over ******. American Integrity is not paying claims!!

      I was/am Insured by American Integrity for homeowners, hurricane as well as for Flood insurance. I experienced a catastrophic loss from Hurricane *** on Sept 28, 2022 due to flooding and wind. This insurance company has yet to pay put fully on my claim. They have paid ZERO dollars for contents when I have $40,000.00 coverage and provided pictures and RECEIPTS for in excess of $60,000.00 in losses and that was not the entirety of the loss however it already well exceeded my policy limits. The estimate of only INTERIOR home damages is over $198,000.00 and Anerican Integrity only sent $67,000.00, partial payment. There are many many items and losses that American Integrity has failed to pay for on the home/flood insurance claim. They have assigned and reassigned at least 12 different adjusters to my claim, none of which will return calls or pay this claim. They have 'inadvertently ' closed my claim, reopened it, and play 'hot potatoe' with it, to no resolution. They are and have been acting in bad faith throughout this entire process. Someone needs to stop this blatant bad faith effort to not pay out on my valid, covered losses. PLEASE, I beg you to assist here. There are thousands of documents available to review and I will be happy to submit the documents most important to resolve this claim, at your request.       I am rejecting this response because:

      I was not represented by an attorney until just a few weeks ago. That was LONG after American Integrity SHOULD have issued the payments that were due to me. The 'contents' portion alone, on this claim should have been paid immediately as this was a VERIFIED, COVERED LOSS,  submitted and substantiated with hundreds of pictures, documents and RECEIPTS, as well as documentation by AI adjusters that tge content loss alone EXCEEDED my policy limits. The fact that that 5 months later, PRIOR to retaining an attorney, this check had not been cut and at the very LEAST, this portion of my claim for CONTENTS should have been paid, says everything about how AI acted in BAD FAITH. deliberately. American Integrity should be compelled to IMMEDIATELY release at the very least, the CONTENTS portion of this claim. Shame on you American Integrity.

      I am rejecting this response because: it's nonsense. Their reply does not address any issues. The reason I am represented by an attorney now is in fact because American Integrity failed to pay this claim and acted in bad faith. It answers nothing. Again, shame on you.
