I paid off a table a year ago and found out today that they have been talking money out of my account every month and now they are giving me the run around about returning my money. Customer came in and was inquiring about charges on her account that was not supposed to be there. After review, we found the account was paid off October 15th 2024 and the customer also had a club account that was not cancelled. We were unable to refund payment due to not enough cash in the drawer at the time, later in the day when enough cash was available, we took refund to Customer ****** ******* at her place of employment. Spoke with customer and explained that the $5 initiates the web order process and once the completed order form is completed, the store is able to determine the actual 1st payment needed to complete the delivery. Called them to come return their merchandise they waited days a later when I was home to retrieve it after failed attempts of knocking they unscrewed my home security camera from outside. I made contact and let them know when I would be home again, again they failed to come pick up the merchandise and come to my home when I wasnt their after banging on my door and ringing my door tell camera the buddys deliver man placed his gum on my door bell camera which is very unprofessional.Business Response

This company just debited my bank account. I have never authorized them to do this. I also dont have any accts with them under my name. I helped my mother ONE time make a one time payment 2 years ago. I never authorized them to store my card info, nor did I ever approve my mother to be authorized on my bank acct. They stored my acct info and debit my card without my consent. When I called to ask why, the women tells me my mother authorized reoccurring payments. I said maybe so but on HER cards. Mine should have never been stored and she is not authorized on my bank acct. The woman was rude and said they will not remove my card. She also said my mother has to be the one to sign off on removing my card. I said no, that is not how this works. It was a one time payment I helped her with. The card should have never been stored, she is not authorized on my acct, never is this store. I told them this is fraud. They did this 2 years ago.Business Response

Paid $75 down on a Xbox and was told the weekly payment would be $27.99 plus tax after. Charged my card $38.85 a week and a few days after when I called to see what was going on I was told insurance charges and damage waivers thats mandatory never was told the actual price I would be charged weekly otherwise I would have left the store and kept my $75 down payment. Not to mention online on their website the same product is listed as $21.99 weekly with only a $5 refundable deposit so how that translates to $75 down and $38 weekly in store confusing. On my contract is stated the damage waiver and the diamond club elite are optional items but when I called to opt out of these to lower my weekly price I was told they are required since the product is an electronic. This at the ****** ******* location. I have contacted corporate since the local store is saying the manager is out sick and they are unable to refund due to this.Business Response

Okay so I rented a new bike paid it off a laptop paid it off and I had the speaker I'm on my last two payments and I owe more in fees than I do for the speaker late fees I've always been on time and I've never gave this company a problem the two and a half almost 3 years that I've been there for paying the Evike off I received $100 gift certificate but to only be used if I make another purchase through them I never gave him a problem when it was there was a problem with the e-bike it took him almost 6 weeks to finish we didn't even have a bike and I still made my payments on time throughout the whole process and never gave him a problem very patient with them my last two payments for the speaker I currently have it Financial issues right now but I only owe two payments left but they're trying to tell me now that I always fees they can't tell me what the pay office I want to pay the last two payments all together at once they won't tell me how much I keep saying you got to pay this much before I can see how much you have left **** that don't make no sense I've always been good with these people never gave him a problem and very patient when they needed it I don't understand why they are like this how come I owe so much money just in fees alone just to these then I do for the speaker I have $100 credit with them right now but they won't let me use that to pay my speaker off but it's $100 gift certificate it's only if I make a new agreement now tell me how fair that isBusiness Response

I'm not a customer with the ******************************************** but ********************** home ********************** keep calling my number at ************ asking for a ******** ********** My name is ******** ********* Lately they have been calling with different phone numbers so I answered not knowing its buddys furnishings, they ask for ********, and I confirm I'm ********, but then they say Ms. ********** I tell the caller that's not me, I'm Mrs. ********* They say I own them money so I hang up because I haven't done business with them. On Dec ************************************ My sister tells them she knows for a fact that I don't own a washer and dryer, the buddys employees then threatens my sister by saying, "we are filling theft charges and we are declaring war on me." When I was told about this phone call I got scared and called my local police who then gave me the advice to report this situation here. As you will see from the attachments, ****** ********* opened an account with us on 10-12-24 and listed a reference (his wife) ******** ********* with the same phone number of ************ of which we have called. The person that answers denies being ********* ********, but that is what is listed on the order form he filled out.
Relevant or not, this customer made only two payments and is now refusing to answer his phone, door at residency and will not return the product as he is in breach of his agreement. We will persue legal action as this is our right. The store personal has denied making any statements or threats.

Buddys is a very deceitful business. I had made some payments for someone elses account and when that person fell behind they chose to make an unauthorized charge to my card after I went in and took my card off their account. The manager said it would be back on my card in 7-10 days and it wasnt so I contacted them and now they are saying I had an account in 2017. Ive NEVER had an account with these people at all. I asked for the contract and they will not provide. So BEWARE they will fraudulently continue to take money from any card thats been used on someone account. Buddys took money off my card where I had made the payment for someone before. That person got behind on their payments so they had secretly kept my debit card number after I had went in there and had it removed and they deceitfully kept my number and when that person got behind, they charged it to my. Card I contacted the manager ***** panel and the regional Director ***** ******** and I was told that my money would be on my card in 7 to 10 days. After the money was not back on my account then I contacted the manager again and he lied saying I have an account with them from 2017 where I have never in my life bought anything from Buddys furnishing. I asked for a copy of the contract from **************************************************************** the address where the stuff was delivered so I can find out where this bogus account is coming from. Ive been in a contract with Buddys for a total of 3 years here in *********** ** . When I started the relationship with them ended up breaking a tv in which Im currently paying for but I have none of Buddys merchandise within my home . Ive consistently asked **** ****** who is the manager of this location to give me a payoff amount because financially I cant continue to give them almost $90 every 2 weeks . For some odd reason this request has not been granted . I purchased a recliner the recliner was not put together correctly and caused me to have a fall I requested them to pick the recliner up they refused told me I had to keep it for an additional four or five days till they could get someone to pick it up then they ***** did my account twice me and the manager in Gadsden Alabama had words and she informed me if I did not weigh over 500 lb I would not have broke their chair I have spoke with my attorney about this matter then she called back and apologized and personally went to the bank and put my money back into the bank now they have debited my account once again after they have picked up their merchandise she has promised once again that she will put my money back into my checking account as of today it is still not put back I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect to be accused of breaking merchandise and weighing over ********************************************************** this manner?
