I was told that I would only be charged $0.99. I was charged $7.48. I do not care if I get that back. What I care about is the fact that they won't let me cancel my subscription and I don't want to be charged again.Business Response

I've never heard of or used this business or service and I've got 3 different transactions on 11/15/23 for .99, 11/15/23 for **** and 11/20/23 for *****. Again, I've never used or needed this service at all in my life! Now, I'm having to get a new card again just so nothing else comes off my account. I want my money back! Asap! Early today (11/7/23) signed up for this web site. It said it was .99 cents for a 5 day trial. So I did it. I cancelled within the hour and they actually took $30.98 out of my account. Have been trying all day to get a hold of someone with no luckBusiness Response

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We'd like to clarify that when you signed up and later canceled your account, the $30.98 transaction was a pre-authorization hold, not an actual charge. According to our billing terms, this hold remains pending during the trial period, and if you cancel before the trial ends, there should be no charges.

This internet web site lied about the amount charged. There is supposed to be a **** charge for 7 days. After 7 days you are charged $30.00. Well that's not what happened. They charged me $30.00 in less then 10 minutes also there is no way to cancel this site. They don't answer the phone. All I want is my money back.Business Response

I had a subscription to *************** for a few months until some time around 9/13/23, when spontaneously got a cancellation email and much to my chagrin a got a message that my account was BANNED!!! INFORMATION.com billed my debit card $ ***** on 9/25/2023 for an account I signed up for with a 5 day free trial of 99 cents. The amount I authorized and was at the check out cost was 99 cents. I received an immediate transaction notification with my debit card of $ *****. I will be reporting this bait and switch billing to the ******** ************************* today. I also did NOT receive an email for confirmation of payment. There is no feature under the account section to CANCEL. I have called an automated customer service number at ************** over ten times and have been disconnected every time after 1 minute. I cant reach a live person.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I appreciate the refund. However, this transaction with the company is still a bait and switch type of purchase. It is very misleading when purchasing the ********************************************************************************* simple terms, not just displaying 99 cents for the purchase amount. This is not a good business practice as customer service could not be reached. I'm sure this business knows this and makes money based off of the misleading charge of 99 cents. A disclaimer under the *************************************** fact are paying for a full month when purchasing the for 99 cents.
