      After Same Day Windshields replaced my card windshield, a poping noise and vibration starting happening. I called them and they replaced the glass again and the poping noise Continued. Now they are refusing to come back. My car is only 4 years old with ***** miles, and never had any issues until this company worked on it. I read online about other people having the same issue and having to do with the installation process.

      We replaced the windshield as a courtesy to the customer when this issue was initially reported. We determined there is a flap of metal under the cowling that has a plastic under it, it could be that it is vibrating. The customer signed additional paperwork with a disclaimer acknowledging we reinstalled as a courtesy and was advised the noise is coming from somewhere other than the windshield. The customer acknowledged and signed in this disclaimer Same Day Windshields is not responsible if the issue persists.

      This company was scheduled to replace a windshield on my car. The service had been scheduled three times between 9am and 2pm. The technician never showed up for any of the appointments and the company doesn't have a dispatch department to contact the driver. The corporate office was unable to resolve the issue.

      8/30/2023- Windshield cracked and reported to Geico. Through their app, ***** set up appointment Sept 11th with Safelite. Couldn't wait that long. Googled Safelite's phone number to see if they would move the appointment and come to my office to change out. The number that I dialed sent me to ******************* Acqui where they said they were handling these for Safelite. (The call was a hijack.) They called ***** and had them assign the job to them. ***** told the lady that it order for them to receive this order they had to guarantee that the windshield would be calibrated at the time of install and the lady said that it would not be a problem. Same Day called after scheduling it for the following day to tell me that they were unable to get the windshield and would need to push the install to the following day, Friday, 9/01. On Friday morning they did call, came and replaced the windshield and was completed by 10am. When I went out to sign, I asked the installer about the calibration and he said that was a separate person that would be calling me within an hour and would be there that day to complete. Never received any call. After lunch I reached out to Same Day and they transferred the call to their "calibration department" where I was told that I would receive a call within 24 to 48 hours to set up an appointment. I called to report this to Geico and they called Same Day where they promised I would call within the hour and the work would be completed before end of the day. Never heard anything. Saturday, contacted ***** again. ***** called Same Day and spoke with **** that acted shocked that no one had reached out and said they were closed until Tuesday, 9/05 and promised they would call first thing Tuesday and have this taken care of. I have not heard anything. This is a major safety concern.

      On june 26th i got my windshield fixed by ******, a gentleman my brother referred me to to Have my windshield replaced due to me breaking it. He came to my office, changed my windshield and broke my rearview mirror in the process.He told me he would handle it with His company. A couple weeks later When i reached out to him about my mirror. He told me he didnt work for the company any longer. I want to be compensated for my mirror.

      A gentleman met me at my office yesterday, he didnt install the parts on my mirror due to him telling me the windshield was installed incorrectly and i needed a new install. He informed that why the gentleman broke it originally due to the windshield. He told me he would handle everything and someone would contact me. No one called me and i have the piece to my mirror in my glove compartment, because thats where he told me to place it.  No one called or came back out.

      I had a windshield installed by these people, at the time of installation I was working. When I got off work and looked at the windshield it looked like c*** The molding around my window was cut up and the technician left it that way (hoping I wouldn't notice?). I call him up and told him that he cut up my trim and that it needs to be replaced! He then told me he was going on vacation and that he would fix in two weeks. It has now been two months and I still haven't gotten it fixed. I called the shop and informed them of the situation and they said they would send the technician, that never happened.. What happened instead is I get a text from the technician at 10:30PM which is completely out of order! The text said I ordered your part they should be in soon. Two weeks after the text I have not heard anything from the shop nor the tech.

      We apologize that this has taken this long to resolve.  The tech informed us that the damaged part has been replaced and we do not take care of anything other then the damaged portion of any install we perform.  I know you are aware that this tech was gone from 3/18 to 4/10 on a vacation and we were notified of what happened when you contacted ** on  4/21.  We then followed up with the technician to ensure that the damaged part that he agreed to take care of was completed.  Unfortunately for ** that is the only technician we have for that area.  We apologize again for how long this has taken. If you are not satisfied with that we would send you a payment $50 for compensation for the trouble that this has caused.   This payment will be sent in a check form to the address we have on file.  Please let ** know.  Have a nice day.

      I had Same Day Windshields out today 03/15/2023 to replace my rear windshield early this afternoon. They presented a replaced window and quickly left. When I then turned the vehicle on I learned the rear latch no longer closed as they had done damage when removing parts to repair the window. They are now refusing to speak to me to find a way to resolve this and I'm left in worse shape than when I started. Prior to their disconnecting and doing whatever they did the real latch worked perfectly and after they worked on my vehicle it was immediately inoperable.

      1/23/2023 Worked with SameDay Windshields to have them fix my husband's windshield. They went to my husband's work and said that they would call if they needed anything. I told the technician which aisle the vehicle was located in. He stated that if he needed anything, he would call or text me. I got no message or call from the technician. When I spoke with my husband later that day, he informed me that the technician drove his jeep. The keys were left in the vehicle, yes, but at no point was permission given to the technician to put the keys into the ignition and/or drive the vehicle. My husband clocked out of work and went outside to find the technician finishing up on his Jeep and the tech said he was going to move the vehicle back into one place, as he had turned it to be diagonal in two places. In addition, my husband has medical grade tint on his front windshield due to retina damage from when he was in the Army in ***********. My insurance gave permission to change out the windshield if needed, but ******* never told me that they don't do fixes, they ONLY do replacements. If that was the case, I would have gone with another company. Now, we are going to have to pay more money just to get his windshield tinted again, but this company should have to foot the bill.

As far as moving the vehicle the technician would have needed to turn the vehicle on not only to get the odometer reading for the insurance but also to move the vehicle into position to allow for installation.

      I called and scheduled this company to replace my cracked windshield at my home. After a windshield replacement, this vehicle requires a calibration to restore the automated safery aspects of the car. The company misrepresented itself by telling me that they do the calibration as well and both the replacement and calibration will be done the same day at my home. I waited to get this work done for two weeks without being able to drive the car both now it is apparent that they lied about their capability to calibrate the vehicle. The replacement got done this morning, and the technician said the calibration people will come within two hours. When the calibration people did not show up, I called the company and was told that calibration is done by another company, and that they this other company will reach out to me to schedule the calibration, basically washing their hands off that portion of the job. Had they told me the truth about what would happen, I would have taken the car to somewhere else two weeks ago to get the calibration done the same day. The company cannot be trusted to tell the truth about what they can and cannot do.

      ******************* does partner with the calibration company Same Day Calibration in order to provide calibration services to our customer. *****************************'s customer service representative did misspeak when she stated that we perform the calibration work. This information was explained during a subsequent call between a supervisor and Zerrin. We apologized for the confusion and offered a $25 compensation for the trouble caused. We have also addressed this issue with our staff and have clarified how this should be handled moving forward. Please le us know what additional steps we can take to come to a resolution.

      I am rejecting this response because: *********** needed to communicate with their partner calibration company to have the job completed. ***********'s website leads people to believe that they do the calibration themselves. This is not a case of one of their agents misspeaking. Their website contains false advertising. The $25.00 the company offered neither got my calibration done nor prevented me driving 120 miles round trip to get it done at my dealership instead of it being done by the company at my home. Given the fact that I waited for close to two weeks for the company to come and do the entire job and my trip tyo the dealership, I consider their offer of $25 an insult.

      Their agent did not misspoke, their website says they do the calibration with their agents. They are lying to the BBB. As to reaching out to us, they gave us the information to contact the other company and arrange the calibration ourselves. False advertising as well lies.if they are sincere in trying to make up for our inconvenience and extra expense, they can compensate us for  our 120 miles round trip to get the calibration done.

      I had set up an appointment for them to come out to my workplace on Friday 1/6/23 between 9-2pm. I was told I would receive a call beforehand. No one ever called, no one showed up. I called after work and asked if they could still come out Friday before they close. I was told they had until 6pm. No one showed up and no one called. I called back and was told they werent sure why I didnt receive a phone call or why the tech didnt show up. I was then promised the tech would come out to my home Saturday 1/7/23 between 9-2. Again, no phone call, no one showed up. I called 3 times after 2pm assured the tech had my windshield and would be there. I was assured ******* the manager said the tech is close by and would call me before he showed up. Again, no phone call, tech never showed up. I called back only to get a recording saying that I reached their office after hours. Never have I seen such incompetence in a company! I told them it was imperative I get my windshield replaced and if they couldnt do it, I could have called someone else, yet they assured me they could do it! Unbelievable. I want to make sure to let the public know that they should go elsewhere for a windshield!

      Hello, on Thur, May 19, 2022, I noticed that a dead palm tree branch fell on the windshield of my vehicle a (2003 Mercedes clk500) after noticing the damage, I reached out to sameday windshields repair which services customers in multiple areas within Florida including Miami. With that said I spoke to an agent who gave me a quote which I agreed upon. After paying full price the same day, even though the agent advised that it was just a hold until the work was completed I was still charged full price the same day. Per the agent the technicians arrival time would be Fri, May 20, 2022 between the hours of 9am and 2pm. After waiting until 1:15 pm, I called the company and the agent I spoke to advised that she would have the technician call me. Which he did, the gentlemen was polite and advised me that he was working on a vehicle and would contact me once he is in route. At 2pm I called out from work due to me not being able to drive my vehicle in the condition that it was in. The gentlemen was nice and called me but it was after hours and advised that he would come the following day which I agreed to not to loose another day of work. Sat, May 21, 2022 my windshield was changed, yet today May 23, 2022 after check finances I notice that the sameday windshield company attempted to charge me twice. I called to speak with a manager or supervisor and I was transferred to a person name Stacy who claimed to be the manager, I informed her that they were in violation of there sameday policy and that the work was done a day later costing me a day of work she attempted repeatedly to try and brush me off to her payment department. I informed her how would she rectify the sevice failure and she advised that she could compensate me $25 for my trouble which to me was an insult, I did not expect. After asking to speak to the owner or someone hire than her, she proceeded to say that she was the highest person to speak with (Stacy) number ************.

Your card was actually charged on May 23rd which was after your windshield was replaced and the technician turned in the documents. We do not have a same day policy so I'm unsure what you are referring to there. We do our best to replace windshields on the same day but there are many factors that affect that. We do everything we can to ensure a smooth process for our customers. I understand your frustration and I'm going to issue $50 back to your credit card. Thank you
