      DO NOT USE . I had been a customer of Gulf to Bay Pools and was happy. Gulf to Bay sold their business to Economy Pools and trouble began. I had weekly chlorine service, but after multiple problems they convinced me to switch to a salt generator - promising me a $20 monthly discount to switch. So, I went to bi-weekly salt service. The discount never came and the problems got worse. There were multiple missed service calls, the salt generator often malfunctioned due to debris not being properly removed. Low/no salt error messages popped up often. This resulted in a green pool and being unusable often. When I called the office, there was no response. And within months my cost crept up from $99/month to $126/month. So, I asked to have the salt chlorinator removed and go back to the straight line chlorine system I originally had. This never happened, even after repeated requests. I have security cameras which show when the tech arrived and left. When I started checking them, I saw that the tech would arrive and in less than 6 minutes he left. There is no way to empty the skimmer, rinse out the filter, check the chlorine levels and make adjustments, and brush the pool in less than 5 minutes! I witnessed as the tech came in, threw a few handfuls of a white substance into the pool and left. Two weeks later, the tech arrives, snaps a picture of the pool then leaves. There was an error message on the chlorinator - the tech should have seen this and addressed the problem but he did not. I called the office and was told that someone would be out in a couple of days. No one showed up. (Just one example of many instances.) Economy Pools recently went from monthly billing to bi-weekly billing without notifying me of the change. This produces additional revenue for them without providing additional services to me. Kinda sketchy.

      Such a horrible company, We came back home after 6 months from EU and I can not believed my ayes .Never had pool in such a shape.One quarter of dirty black water in my pool. The filter wasn't clean for whole period of 6 months.Broken pipe to my chlorinater. According to ,my neighbor no one show here up for three months to service the pool.On my call to Economy pools I was told that they fired an employee serving my property and forget assign some one other to take care of my pool. After telling the employee (who came after my call) that I do not need they service any longer, I get call from manager George who promised to send some one who will take care of this pool and will correct all problems. But no one show up. And that promise's continue for three weeks. But this somehow doesn't stop the Company to charging my credit card $ 97.60 (Contract was sign for $85 each month and 0 for no service.) So ,I fired the company and hired someone else,but it still doesn't bother them (Economy pools )to charge my credit card for 4 months without any service in total of : $391.6 So, I want them that amount to be returned to my credit card .       Horrible company, they shouldnt be in business at all. They lie about everything, they are not showing up and when i told them that they basically call me a liar. I have a pool camera with a 360 degree eye for motion detection, i told them that nobody came for 7 days otherwise i would notice that. Whatever they promised they didnt deliver. I am so upset that i am ready to take a class action lawsuit against them and most probably this is what i will do since they are refusing even giving me my money back!

      The company is not knowledgeable in cleaning pools or how the pool equipment works. They also do not come as they agreed. No steady and skilled workers. I canceled, and they illegally charged me after cancelation. I paid the service rendered but will not pay after giving them 30 days' notice. Though they attempt to disregard my letters and USPS confirmation, I do not recommend that anyone dealing with them be prepared for fast talking or double-talking. If you call, do not expect an answer or get a callback or for them to follow through as they said they will. It feels like you are being handled and disregarded. It is as if they can do whatever they like, not provide good service, and you are at their mercy. Horrible Experience! Please put everything in writing for your proof in dealing with this company repeated and still getting charged. You hire a pool cleaning service to take the work weekly and steady; to take the stress off you, not for you to do the work; they come whenever they want to or do not show up and to have a disregard for their customer.

      When it comes to pool service and the schedule weather and other circumstances are sometimes out of our control.

      DO NOT USE this pool service. When I bought my house it had been sitting for three months. The skimmer and skimmer line was full of debris. The pool wasn't functioning as well as it should so they put in a new pool pump (which I told them they didn't need to do because the line was clogged). They did so anyway and charged my card over 900 dollars. The pump wasn't the issue (anyone with common sense would know this) so they came out to blow the line, which they did skimmer side down (instead of pump side out), causing a massive clog. After 10 hours of snaking the clog I cleared the line and ended up in the ER with chemical pneumonia because they dumped high amounts of chlorine in it without advising me or leaving me any reports. Recently the pump stopped working (electrical issue not pump) so they left the pool untreated. They stated that they tried to contact me two weeks ago but I had no missed calls and no voice mails left. I contacted them and they stated that someone would be out but nobody showed. They called today only after I left a scathing review on Google. Here was their response:

      We are sending technician out today. We tried calling you with no answer. The picture we see don't match the pictures you posted. While the pool has some debris it is no where near the shape in pictures attached.Once we figure out what happened we will reach back out to you. Thank

      They stated in a call today that they sent someone out and the pool was clear. This is true because I, myself, spent four days cleaning an algae filled pool. Their person never showed. Had they shown last week they would have seen the green pea soup colored pool.

      Please do not use this pool company. Check out all their reviews. Look at the photos. They have many one stars.

      Sorry for the inconvenience. There is nothing we can do to try and help you. I have looked at pics and your pictures they don't seem to match. We called and tried to help and you told u to leave. At this time this case is closed.

      We had a contract with the for salt water pool for the past 3 years. They were to show up weekly and clean, water check and clean the filter. The did not show up as our contract to do the services weekly and there was sometime they never showed up for a month. Our pool was Green for several months in 2022. They came by and cleaned but it turned green several times. Same problem not servicing the pool. It was embarrassing having friends/family look at our Green pool. I recently called requested service for our green pool and was on hold for 15 minutes left a voice mail message and never received any returned call or service. They were good at withdrawing our money monthly but never completed their services. Our Salt water pump was also not working and took several months for repairs. FINALLY we decided to cancel their service and they said have to give 30 day notice which we did. Our contract ended July 31st. However, they came by and quickly removed the salt water cell even thou we had 11 more days in our contract. I wish I can attach photo's showing our Green pool and green filter. We were not satisfied with their service for the past 3 years, but locked into their contract (again which they did not fulfill). I would never recommend Economy Pools

      I had just moved to FL from the north so I was in the market for a pool company and was delighted when a charming older gentleman showed up at my door offering services by Economy Pools. I know nothing about taking care of a pool so I did not realize that vacuuming was not included in the offer I signed up for. When the tech informed me that it was a separate charge I called and upgraded to the once monthly vacuuming service. I noticed that after having been charged for it twice the pool was still very dirty as though it had never been cleaned, sandy residue still present from the day I moved in. I called the company and was told they had had a miscommunication with the tech, that he had not been made aware that I had upgraded and he would be out the following day to do so. After he didn't show up I called and was told the same thing so when he did not come the second time, I called and left a message cancelling the service. I called back a few days later just in case they don't check their voicemail and had to leave another message because I was on hold so long. At this time I also WROTE them through their website so they had their 30 days notice. They do not have an email address posted anywhere so I had to go through the comments section of their website instead of through my email account. About a week later, the tech showed up and we informed him that we had cancelled and hired another company. He said "no problem", and he left. That was a month ago. Nothing has been done, yet my credit card has once again been charged. I called for a third time fully intending to wait as long as it took for someone to pick up but I was forced to leave another message. I think they are intentionally ignoring my calls when they see my number on the caller id. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any business!

      Customer canceled account through technician and it didn't get back to office. We charge on the first if the month and it was charged before we canceled the account. The customer then challenged the charge with the credit card before we had a chance to fix.
      As for the phone lines we had a issue with our internet and Verizon didn't have the staff to get our building to fix and once they did we had a hard time catching up. I hope you can understand and except our apology. With the way the economy is right now getting staffed is an issue.
