Our house was built in Nov 2021. We Moved in Dec 2021. Our ac died 8/17/22. I called that evening. Left message. Never got a return call that night. We had to go to Walmart and spend almost 400 dollars on window units. My husband is on oxygen and has end stage lung cancer. Received call around 9 am 8/18. Tech came out that afternoon. Never went into the attic just said our compressor and condenser was broken. And left. Did not tell us he was leaving. Left my garage door open. I called the office a few hours later to find out what was going on. I was informed that because we did not have a yearly inspection we would be charged labor and Freon charges. And that would be 990 dollars!!! On a unit that was not even 2 years old. I informed them I was getting a second opinion and calling our builder. Spoke with our builder told him who I spoke with and he said he'd call me back, which he did. He said that there was nothing they could do but he did tell them to order the parts and if we didn't go with the company the builder would use them. When I called back bc no one else will come look at the unit bc of our warranty they hadn't even ordered anything. When I said well our builder told you guys to order the part the lady said well he isn't the owner of the home. I said order everything. We need our ac. Again informed them of my husband conditions. I also informed them that I was going to out of the country and that they needed to call my husband, gave them my husband cell phone. Which was read back to me. My surprise Friday when I get an email for a contract. As I was flying out of the country. I wasn't able to sign it right away. I signed and sent it back as soon as possible. I arrived home Thursday morning and still no ac in the house. Friday morning I get a text saying they were coming out between 9-1030. I saw this at 10 am. Due to sleeping from time changes. They responded about an hour later stating we had to give away your slot. I called the office bc all this was

We received a voicemail on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 9:27 pm. The voicemail said, "Hi, my name is ***** ********** my number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Hum, I was just talking to Mike from ******** Homes, you guys installed our AC unit, and it is not working right now; it's like 88° in this house, so if somebody could please call me back, again, my name is ***** ************ number is XXX-XXX-XXXX we are on ******* *****
We call ***** back Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 8:15 am & text at 8:17 am; text a second at 9:38 am, per office notes. ***** responded at 9:42 am our service tech Dave P arrived at 10:36:41 am, according to the GPS.
On our closing documents given to ******** Homes, to keep the valid warranty customer must have yearly maintenance per the manufacturer & Air Source.
The unit was installed on 10/27/2022. The ************* closed on the house on 11-13-2020. Our company name & phone number is on the thermostat and the paperwork provided to ******** Homes. Upon speaking with Mike, he stated that the homeowner was given that paperwork at closing.
Upon inspection of the AC system, the service tech found a complete pack filter restricting the airflow.
As for another AC company that would not do the job, any licensed HVAC Company can repair ************* system under warranty. However, they are not locked to one AC/ HVAC Company.
The compressor was ordered once the homeowner gave authorization. When the compressor was received on August 18, 2022, we texted ***** at 8:15 am on August 19, 2022, and we received a response until 9:58 am that said, "OK." At that point, we sent the service to another job. The job was completed on August 26, 2022. The service tech arrived at 1:59:59 and departed at 4:59:13. There was a lot of discussion over the payment with the office. The service tech was given the authorization to start the job at 2:57 pm.

I hear their commercials on the radio all the time, so when I got an estimate from another company for about $2000, I decided to call AirSource to give them a try. I had nothing to lose. The service manager spoke to me personally on the phone. The tech came out in a timely manner, and repaired and serviced the whole unit, inside and out for $800. The tech was very nice and professional. I'll definitely use them again!
