      On November 4th, I signed up for their credit service to dispute some previous credit issues that were reported in error. When I signed up, they offered a 60 day 100% money back guarantee which is indicated on their website. After being billed multiple times with no progress on my credit report, I requested to cancel my service and receive a refund. It took numerous times for them to cancel my service and now they refuse to communicate in regards to my refund. Very poor, misleading, and fraudulent business practices. I will be reporting this to the Florida Attorney General as well.

We have closed your account as you requested and sent you confirmation.  Our satisfaction guarantee is not a 60 day 100% money back guarantee which is why a refund wasn't processed. The Satisfaction Guarantee on our website is: "If, after 60 days, you are not satisfied with our service, we will extend your service up to the number of paid months at no additional cost."  We offered the guarantee and you refused it. We are sorry that you're disappointed but we do appreciate your feedback.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Their business practices are very deceiving. A satisfaction guarantee is simple. If you are unhappy with your services, you should be able to cancel immediately and receive a refund. TheCreditPros states that they offer an additional 60 days for free as a satisfaction guarantee. How does this logically make sense? If I am unhappy with the service, why would I want an additional 60 days of a service?

      This company is a complete scam. They did absolutely nothing to assist with my credit. The only work they did was charge my credit card. Im also following up with a report to the attorney general for the state they operate in as this is complete fraud. 

      If they refund my money, they can consider this matter closed, but until then, I will continue to disclose to others their fraudulent business practices.

      We've been in business for 16 years and were not a scam. We did work on your account. Unfortunately, we do apologize that you didn't receive the results you wanted. Most companies have some type of guarantee for their services. Even if the clients don't agree with it, it is still the company's guarantee or policy. 
       
      Before we canceled your account, we did offer the Satisfaction Guarantee to you due to your dissatisfaction of the service. You refused it and that is your choice. We received your email on 2/12/25. Although you're not eligible for a full refund, we did  respond and offer to refund the last payment of $129 as a courtesy but we haven't received your response yet. Please let us know if you will accept this offer.

      I have contacted this company three times to cancel my subscription, but they will not cancel it. It said I could cancel at any time, however they won't let me and my next payment is coming due in a few days, so I know they are avoiding me so they can collect another payment.

      In March I contacted The Credit Pros for help with my credit and for months the service did help remove or resolve issues and my score improved but in October I decided there wasnt much more to be done so on October 9th I called to cancel. After talking with customer service I decided to continue for only 2 more months (my monthly payment was always deducted from my checking account on the 14th of each month). I was also given a reduced rate for the last two months of *****, this was so any outstanding disputes could be resolved. Also they stated they would contact me at the end of the 2 months to see if I still wish to cancel. I wasnt contacted and I thought it would cancel since I agreed to only 2 months. I didnt notice the charges in December mainly because I have worked almost daily but I happened to notice that they did charge me for December and again today 1/14/25. Credit Pros used to call me weekly to go over disputes and discuss issues but I have heard nothing from them since I called on 10/9/24. I called today and had to call back twice to get someone to finally cancel my account and finally refund todays payment! I feel I am due Decembers payment back also as I never agreed to continue I ONLY for 2 more months to wrap up any outstanding disputes. Im frustrated that you handle business in this manner and that a government agency referred me to you-***. I plan to contact someone at the *** so they are aware of your business practices.

      On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at approximately 11:24 EST an initial verbal contract & financial transaction via phone was made and successfully completed with me and ****** ****** (Account Executive **************) ending in my **** Debit Card 9054 of $149. Prior to this financial transaction, Ms. ****** sold me on the false idea that my concerns with my negative credit will be resolved within two months & that the process immediately starts, after I login to my Customer Portal, signing necessary legal documents that I give them full consent to represent me in the disputes against various creditors. Ms. ****** also sold me on this false idea of $5,000 credit line with a third party the "same day" ready & available for use. This did not happen & I emailed her immediately with this concern. She failed to mention a very key detail that it won't be ready the same day as promised and that this $5000 credit line requires "weekly" payment, not monthly like most. Red flag, yet I still continue on with the business. The next day after I submitted the necessary documents & legally signed, I noticed that the letters of dispute was not sent out on my behalf like promised. I called into the customer service & complained about this matter. As of today, the service that I paid for $149 the six companies still haven't received the dispute letters. December 11, 2024, an illegally authorization of another $149 was attempted from this ************ bank stopped it. I called in personally & asked that I be removed from the program. Regardless, what I initially paid for had not been done & this company sold many broken promises. I want a full refund of $149. I do not want to allow them to fix anything, because the trust has already been broken for many reasons. I do not trust this company! I do not want a phone call; I want my refund back on my card ending in 9054 of $149. I paid for a service that I never received. No exception! I still am getting calls from these creditors!

      Credit services but no updates recently taking money out monthly. Attempted to cancel several times but it errors out, wont let me login in and if I attempt to reset password it sends me verification codes back to back or does not accept it and states invalid or too many logins. Have tried this for several months straight

      Theyve been taking $119.00 dollars a month and we just discovered it. They said my husband signed up for their service in December 2023 and we know he never signed up period but they said he did in December of 2023 he was in the hospital and on a ventilator and very ill after having a liver and kidney transplant so it is impossible to sign up on ANYTHING and now every time we contact them they put us on hold only to return to us and they tell him that they cannot cancel his service and they will have someone that can call us back. WHAT A SHOCK THAT CALL FROM THEM IS NEVER RETURNED. We will be in contact with our bank as well as our attorney. They OWE US FROM THE PAST MONTHS WELL OVER $1000.00 plus dollars.I hope this complaint is seen by anyone else thinking about using this company. PLEASE STEER CLEAR OF CREDIT PROS BECAUSE THEY WILL ALWAYS TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!!

      The credit pros charged me over 150$ I filed a fraud claim and my bank said they contacted them saying I made the purchase.. I have called several times tbh why have NEVER ONCE called me back or told me how or why they are using my credit for their business..

      My name is ***** **** I have an account bank call **************** that is where my account is I had a problem I want to see can I deal with my credit report and help my credit I call this company it was called credit review had to pay them $129 well I had not heard for them in 3 weeks they told me that if I want to change my mind in less than 30 days I will be able to with no questions asked so I replied to that I will have asked that I will want a refund because I'm not heard from the company and three weeks so by then I was wondering why I'm not have no email no text message or nothing about so I called my bank and see if they would help me to retrieve my money back from the company so the bank took over and put down fraud and try to get paperwork from that company will stay there but I have no kind of paperwork at all know why they didn't return my money back or nothing they would keep telling me to go to my bank and ask questions so I did so my bank that they have proved and determined that I did give them the money so they gave it back to them I'm very problems from getting my refund back I did notify them that I wanted to refund after I not hired from them in 3 weeks after our concern to the bank they finally told me that now this is at net it was too late I already signed up for a refund with no questions asked that's what they say but they not listening I don't know why this is a company why not give him money back if I change my mind with no service why the bank give them my money I didn't give the money to my bank and I never said one time that this was a fraud it's not it's a real company so please could you help me get my money back I don't fix that income and I'm 63 years old I'm sorry whatever went down and whatever I don't understand I just want my money back for Christmas please help me for my grandbabies I have 29 of them mostly twins thank you

      If I even that you looking at October that was the bank payment for me for $129 that wasn't my check that was what they gave me because the company was paid from the bank after that they had took the money back out they still didn't pay me the bank took the money back out of the account that you see for October that is not that is not the Monday gave me so they close my case in the bank got the money back and the company that the direct credit company did not give me money yet I'm sorry to let you know I haven't received the money yet

      I received a phone call sometime in July of this year from this company regarding their credit repair services, as I am in need of some credit repair I signed up for the service paying $129 per month I saw my scores improving and was elated. I spoke with a friend that works in banking and was telling her how I was in this great credit repair program and she advised me to be wary, she checked my scores and it turned out the scores that my scores were basically superficial and my scores were actually more than 100 points lower that what was reflected on their app and Credit Karma as well, so I cancelled my membership and three days later one score dropped 99 points and the other 72 points and have been subsequently decreasing almost instantaneously after my cancellation, I contacted them and asked for a refund as it was obviously evident that the superficial changes they were making to reflect increases they were able to undo and revert the scores to probably lower than what they were before I started to pay them for repair, after the first score fell ****************************************************** into keeping the service, it is unfair that I paid them for those months and because cancelled they undid everything I am uncomfortable they now have access to all of my personal information as well.

      We spoke in regards to your account. You expressed that your scores went down after stopping the service with us. You did advise that you checked credit scores with Credit Karma and your friend at the bank against our scores. I did explain that there are different scoring models. Credit Karma uses the Vantage score model and most banks use the Fico score model. The factors in each score model weighs differently so the scores will be different. I explained that there were a few new negatives and inquiries that came up since you started the service. Negative items and inquiries bring down the credit scores. You did express that you were looking for an apartment. We did explain that if apartments do credit checks which is an inquiry. Inquiries take 10% of the scores at the time they're done. I also advised that we are not able to undo deletions. I did advise that you weren't eligible for a refund because we did work on your account. I offered to give you 3 months of free service instead because you weren't satisfied. You accepted the offer. I advised that if you don't want to continue after that to set a reminder to call us back at least a few days before 03/02/24 to close the service.

      Started 12/18/2023 I paid in total ****** They said they would help me fix my credit score. My score got worse, and nothing changed no inquiries no new debt. They always tell me they will call me back they never do. or email me After the first few months I realized my credit score was going down. I called them and they told me I would have to wait 90 days to see a positive change. I gave them the 3 months and on the 4th month I called back and told them I was still unsatisfied and I wanted to cancel. They tired to bring my payments down in hopes that I would stay. I told them no I want to cancel. They told me they would call me with a confirmation email me a confirmation that did not happen. Called again same thing they will cancel and email me again no email. Still being charged for something I've been asking to cancel.

      As per our conversation today, 11/29/24.  I explained that we did work on the account and got some negative items removed from the credit reports but that she wasn't finished. The scores not going up were due to credit card usage being more than 30% of the credit limit. You informed me that you were checking our scores and scores from Credit Karma. I did advise that there are different scoring models. Credit Karma uses the Vantage score model & most lenders use the Fico score model so they will be different. I offered to give you 6 months free to come back to the service since you weren't satisfied with the service although it wasn't our fault. You declined he offer.  I also advised that the refund amount of $819.75 you requested is not the amount that you paid from May until November of 2024. Although, you're not eligible for a refund at all, as a courtesy, I offered to refund you 3 months of $46.25 payments that totals $138.75. You accepted the offer.
