This has been the most horrific experience with moving that we have had in our life. We have relocated multiple times for various reasons (military, job relocation, etc.) Four of our moves were overseas and they ran smoothly compared to the one with Good Greek Moving.The following is a partial list of Good Greek Moving mistakes and foul-ups:1. The packing job was unprofessional: mislabeled boxes or not labeled at all. Using wardrobe boxes to pack books and heavy items (could not move these boxes anywhere as needed.) Items were combined randomly: bathroom items with kitchen items, clothes with garage items, etc.2. The packing crew claimed they ran out of boxes and the person who came over to meet us for the quote (******) misrepresented the job. 3. ******** left a lot behind, from rugs to kitchen items, chairs, etc. Good thing it was a local move and we have done several trips in our **** Expedition to get the remainder that was left behind. 4. I was quoted to include items to be moved like planters and the pool table. The packing crew refused to move them and when I called ****** during the move, he sounded surprised (he wrote down in his notes that those items had to be moved. At the end, they did not move the items.)5. The on the job moving crew manager was rude and condescending: complaining that we had too much stuff for them to pack (they packed everything in 6 hours and I had only one bedroom set, one dining room and part of a living room.) At the end of the packing day, he couldn't get through to the office (no answer) to verify I made the payment (he was always stressing out about the money part of the move,) and he said they were not going to show up the following day if the payment had not been made (as to say I was lying.)Furthermore we have tried to communicate our disappointment and complaints to ****** (the point of contact who originally met and quoted us the move,) but he said he would get back to us to make things right, but he never did.

For two days about 12 hrs total they blocked the handicap spot. Then blocked my car in 7 spots down. They saw me w my cane and ignored me. They never moved the truck and continued to park there after a huge area was open for them to park. I contacted the company and the manager didn't reach out. I doubt the owner would appreciate that. Yes I have proof. I am not their customer.Good Greek Moving & Storage

1 starI hired good greek because on the commercials the owner say's he know's what's it's like to be taken advantage of by other companies and prides himself and his company that you will have trained movers who will be providing superior service. I did NOT get this experience. I hired them to pack my collectables (delicate items and family airlooms), my paintings and what I was unable to get done. I explained when they came to give me the estimate how important it was to me that these items be backed correctly & with care and he assured me there would no issues. When the movers came I went over the same things with them. These individuals were not professional and damaged almost $4,000 worth of items. Every box that said fragile had a heavy box ontop of it and one of the movers kept putting items upside down in my apartment I was moving into despite me instructing him each time that it was upside done and the drawers had wheels on the bottom and were facing up still did not indicate to him that this was not correct.My furniture was not wrapped as promised nor were things put down on the floors to prevent scratching or damage as was promised.I got to the point I asked them to stop and get another crew here because I was so upset with how they were treating my items. I was told this could not happen and let them finish so I can get through this. I called and followed the claims process and was offered $430 and was told "legally that's all I am obligated to do" and that I was already given more then what should have been offered. For a company whose owner talks about doing the right thing and doing right by people, this is appalling!!! I am devastated because they treated things that were passed down to me and precious items with sentimental value like trash and did not care. I am reaching out to an attorney to see what my rights are. I am devastated that I thought this was an honorable company. I asked to speak to the owner and was not obliged.Review fromnate A

Movers were extremely slow. Could not communicate well. They were so slow I told them to forget about some of the stuff so family had to help with the move. Company charged over $1,000.00 more than ************* table was damaged and a piece of jewelry missing. No one is calling back. It was so stressful I ended up in the hospital.Good Greek Moving & Storage

************************ and ******** were very professional. All of my belongings arrived from *********** unbroken. The Good Greek was able to meet a lesser quote that I got from another company. All in all it was a great experience. If theres anything they need to improve on a little bit its communication from the office. I would certainly trust the Good Greek moving company and use them again! They really made a very stressful time less stressful, which was greatly appreciated.Good Greek Moving & Storage
