  -Ive tried to get my vision issues resolved on three separate occasions with Mittleman Eye. I use contacts for Mono-vision, reading glasses, and have cataracts -Each time I received their required exams including dilation. Then was told I would have to return for another appointment for a contract prescription because of the dilation. Should have been informed initially.-At the final consultation, with a different doctor each time, I related my reasons for the visit and she never discussed the exam results but I then was given a sales pitch and costs of prescriptions that should have been covered by my health plan (Humana) because Ive used it with ********************. Also I informed her (Dr. ** that I fill prescriptions at ******. That sent up a red flag! Appointment scheduler was aware of insurance coverage.-Thats when I informed Dr. * I was finished, sidestepping checkout, and took the elevator to exit their building on **************** with unnecessary blurred vision from dilation (a liability). This also occurred on my previous visit with a supposed no charge? Havent checked charges with Humana. Im sure there were some.Mittleman needs to be more up front with clients.*** TicknorLake ****** Shores, FL. *****.

  I'm so sorry for the confusion with your visits. It appears our staff did not do a very good job explaining the process of the exam to you. Insurance coverage is very complicated at times. Someone from our clinical team will be reaching out to you.

  most of my experience was good until the day before surgery. The called to collect the payment and said it was 3600 I told them i was told 2800 they said they would have someone call me back. Marc Fraser called me back and explained I had signed a form for the 3600, I said I was told 2800 why the difference this is like bait and switch. He did not like my comment about bait and switch and cancelled my surgery. I went through hundreds of dollars for exams and tests and eyedrops and he cancelled the appointment because he didn't like m questioning the amount. This person is arrogant and deserves to be fired. I have to wait weeks if not months now to find another place to do the surgery. I also am out all the money because they will all want to do their own test and exams. When I asked him for my medical records he wanted to charge me. They have since given me the records without charge but that is how arrogant this person is. Sad to say a business can do this because they don't like you questioning the billing. Mr. Marc Fraser is a despicable person in my opinion.

  Review for *************************************, OD and Mittleman Eye:I recently had an appointment at this clinic and encountered several issues that were disappointing:Communication: The scheduling process was fraught with mistakes. On multiple occasions, my appointment was scheduled incorrectly, causing unnecessary inconvenience.Examination: During my visit for a contact lens exam, I was surprisingly tested for glasses while still wearing my contacts, which seemed out of place for the specific purpose of my visit.Glaucoma ********* clinic required me to undergo a glaucoma test before my vision test. While I understand the importance of such tests, I was not informed beforehand that my eyes would need to be dilated. This unexpected procedure affected my vision for the rest of the day, resulting in the loss of a day's work.Wait Time: Despite the aforementioned scheduling errors, when I finally had an appointment, I wasn't informed that I would be seen at the end of the day. The wait was excessive and not communicated upfront.Professionalism: Upon discussing these concerns with ******************, I felt dismissed. After mentioning my intention to leave a review detailing my experience, she declined to continue the examination.While I value the importance of comprehensive eye care, the experience was frustrating. Clear communication and a patient-first approach are essential in medical settings, and I hope future patients receive better service.

  Patient arrived on the wrong day for his appointment. We accommodated him and saw him. He became aggressive and disruptive towards staff and has been released  from our practice. Since patient is seeking legal action there will be no further response from us. Please see below an email sent to us from patient. 

  "More reviews on the way for the unbelievable treatment by your clinics. Today a requested a call back by management and received no call. 6 or 7 reviews posted today BBB, health grades and several more. More as time permits as prospective customers have right to know what you did to me as a paying customer. plan also to take legal action for losses."
