      Before you go to the storage unit office to reserve your space, please bring proof your ***************** of registration if you are renting a space for a camper or vehicle. These proofs are required to reserve a space. I wasn't told these were necessary so l had to make two trips into town to reserve my outside parking space. Other than this little hiccup, my experience with the phone *************** managers was a pleasant one. They were helpful, polite & patient. The facility seems clean & well guarded, & there is ample space for my little camper.

      I lost my home in June of 2024 & needed to find a storage location. I went through **** with their manager location at ****************************************************, but actually had a unit rented at their ****************************************************** location. I was behind in rent & working at making payments towards the unit when I was notified that my unit was going to auction 11-4-24. I called to see what could be done to prevent this as everything I owned along with cremated remains of my mother & legal documents of social security card, birth certificates, & tax documents were in this unit. I was told I would need to contact the district manager which I did. I was given the amount due & let her know I could not pay all of that but would be able to make a payment to which she agreed. I had to arrive before 9:50am on 11-4-24 & make payment to keep unit from going to auction block. I arrived a little after 9:30am when the ********** location opened, made the payment & notified the district manager. She informed me that my unit would not go to auction & would work with me on remaining and any accruing totals if I agreed to the late fees which I gladly accepted as I stated this was everything I had left as well as the remains of my mother. I was assured my unit would not be auctioned. I received an email 11-4-24 from them which was the receipt for my payment. I went in the middle of December to make another cash payment & was told from the girl working she was having difficulties entering this into the system & would email my receipt. I suffer from a long battle with breast cancer & reached out about my unit & told it had been auctioned. This was never supposed to have happened as an agreement was made. The last documentation I received was the receipt from 11-4-24 & nothing more. I called & filed an escalated grievance to which I finally received a call back. We are working at a solution but it appears a lawsuit will be filed & the consultations done have informed me I have an airtight case.

      I attempted to move my things out of my unit twice before the month was over. Both times a week apart, and the gate malfunctioned. TWICE. After calling and failing to get a hold of the property manager, he finally called me back the day rent was due, after i had already left. He said that i apperently could just push the gate open (even though i tried that and it didnt work). I of course rented a truck for both occasions which costed $90 a peice and on top of everything, THEY ARE MAKING ME PAY THIS MONTHS RENT. The worst part of all of this, is that they knew about the malfunctioning gate but said nothing, posted nothing, no email, no direction on how to deal with this. I am now expected to pay a whole months rent because im just stupid aparently. I am physically disabled. "Pushing the gate open" is a ridiculous and unsafe thing to request a PAYING CUSTOMER to do. In any case, i should at least have been notified about the gate before renting a moving truck traveling ***************************************************** credit for the inconvenience, but instead the property manager made ME feel like the inconvenience.
