I purchased a Short-Term Radon Test Kit from my local Ace Hardware. I set out the test tube for the 48 hours and mailed timely. It is over two weeks later and no results. This seems to be a very common issue with this outfit. How it can have a decent rating is beyond me.Business Response

We have not yet received the sample you mentioned. Could you confirm if the return address was written on the package, and if the information card was included with the sample? Additionally, do you happen to have the tracking number or vial serial numbers for the sample? This would greatly assist us in locating the sample.

I spent $20 for a radon test but they insisted on more than the additional $20 to do the test. They are scam organization Please shut them down.Business Response

Dear Better Business Bureau and ******* *******,
We have reviewed the complaint, and wed like to clarify the situation.
We noticed that the package was mailed on February 18th and client indicated on testing dates she tested in January ********* is client's information card, tracking history and email thread with communication). We immediately emailed her to verify the information provided.
As indicated on the information card provided by *******, both vials were used for testing. Only authorized a payment for one **** of $20. In the event she only wanted results for one we could have done that for her. We will process a refund of the $20 payment to ********* account and will be canceling the analysis associated with test id *******. However, please note that we are unable to refund the cost of the testing kit.

Unfortunately, we can only mail results to address on file per company policy unless there is a different mailing address provided on the information card. I submitted a test kit for asbestos testing and received a confirmation email stating my test results would be returned to me no later than March 4 2024. The payment for the services cleared my bank on 2/24/24 -FEB24 Withdrawal Debit Card ****** ******* *********************** PRO-LAB *** *********** FL FEB23 When I did not receive my results on March 4, I called the customer service number and listened to the phone ring for about 3-4 minutes until I got a recording that they were closed and I could leave a message, I left a message with my name, customer #, phone number and issue. On March 5 and 6 still no results received. I checked by deleted and spam folders but nothing there either. I then called again and again was forced to leave a voice mail. I also sent an email to their customer service email address. No results on 3/7 so I sent another email and left another voicemail advising if I don't have contact by eod 3/8/24 I will take other steps to resolve this issue. Pro-Lab charged me $40 on 2/14 for my Radon test kit. They said I would get results in 7 days. It has been 21, and I have not gotten results, any communication on why my results are late, or any refund. When I call it rings and goes to voicemail. I would like my results. Looking at their reviews on Amazon I am not the only person who has had this issue in February 2024.Business Response

We ordered this test and everything went smoothly. The petri dish grew visible mold right away. When we received the results it says **. I bought a mold testing kit from Prolab from Amazon. I bought the kit that included the self-addressed mail in the packet and the testing was prepaid. It's been 3 weeks since I mailed the mold samples in and I am still seeing" not received" . We resolved the missing information and applied the pre-paid credit for the analysis. Attached is the report and he was also emailed the report. I purchased a radon test and submitted the tests 8/2/22.test #*******. Pro Labs advised they could not process because it was not received in time due to **** not delivering in time. However they did cash my check but did not perform the service. On August 19, I requested a refund which they agreed to send. As of this date 10/11/22 I have not received my refund, nor have I been advised as to when I may receive it other than soon. I do not believe this is fair business practice and reviews for the same problem seem to be both many and recurring.
