1 starThe first ****** I talked to was great. Then I was called or messaged multiple times a day, only to find out they were all calling for the same thing. No one knew I had already done an admissions interview, and no one could answer me about my next step. When I finally got through that, they pushed me to Financial Aid and told me I was awarded a scholarship. I told them I didn't need aid and would pay out of pocket, and they took my scholarship away. Class was starting the week of thanksgiving. There were no notifications, assignments were due on Thanksgiving... they don't care about you, just your money!Review fromLee P

1 starplanned on going there for their cyber security program, until I saw the box. criminal background checks for students? Was told it was a law by the headhunter. that was a lie. I'm going in this field to help others with there privacy and security, and the school wants more of my data on the net? Its obvious they do not have security in mind for there students. anyone going there, good luck your going to need it.Review fromJake G

I graduated over a decade ago and I am simply trying to get record of a Full Sail class sent to my current university. I have called, emailed, called, emailed, and called. I still cannot get anyone at Full Sail to send this one document to assist me with a transfer credit validation. I want to believe they arent blowing smoke when they say they strive for a good experience, but my experience has not been good. I am simply asking for one document to be sent via email. This is something an intern can do on a vape break. Is it too much to ask of Full Sail to help its past student with a very simple request. Full Fail.Full Sail University

We appreciate the reviewers feedback. Upon receipt of this review, we looked into the graduates concern and found that our team provided the graduate with the requested course syllabus on September 11th and the newly requested course description was sent today. It is our understanding that the graduates requests have been fulfilled. The graduate is encouraged to contact ************************************ should he need any other documents. We hope this resolves the reviewers concern, and we remain dedicated to providing our students and graduates with exceptional education and services.Review fromAustin M

1 starIn the **** design program they will pass on line students just to help their numbers and keep collecting tuition. You cannot tell me otherwise. When in month 16 of a 22 month program, there are students that cannot code in blueprints, OR MOVE A BLOCK IN UNREAL ENGINE that you are not fraudulently passing online students just to keep pushing them through. They are wrong for forcing a quality student to work in graded group assignments with slackers that don't know any code. Their curriculum is all over the place. A lot of things they should be teaching much sooner. When voicing this to full sail discord spaces, I was shut down ostracized by their cult like behavior among faculty and students. Also 2 TA's had stalked my linkedin profile later that day. Then they brigaded my professional reddit account and got it permanently banned by mass reporting it. They are not who they claim to be. Just look at all the complaints against this institution, ****** class actions, ****** warning letters, accreditation issues.Review fromBrandon E

1 starNot only is this place a degree mill but they sell you a "launchbox", which is a MacBook Pro that they overcharge you for and tell you that it's yours and you own it. However, once you complete your program and try to sell the MacBook you will find out that they have device locks on them that they refuse to remove easily. I've been waiting weeks for their team to "click the button". Most recently, they blamed Apple stating that they were waiting for Apple to unlock it only to backtrack on the statement when I stated I would reach out to Apple to have it taken care of. It was then that it was disclosed that it was a Full Sail Employee that they were waiting on to decide it was time to unlock the device. Their teams seem clueless as to when or if they'll be able to process this unlock and removal from their DEP system and there are allegedly no escalation points to contact (according to them)This place is a complete scam and I've lost hundreds of dollars waiting for them to unlock a device that never should have been locked in the first place.Review fromAbria D

1 starI was solicited by a representative by the name of ******** from Fullsail University. She gave me information on the school and its accreditation. I told her that I was skeptical to sign up for school because in the past I was scammed by another school and they were still harassing me today. She assured me that everything would be great and directed me on how to fill out my FAFSA, how to get my loans into deferment, how to sign on to class, etc. At first, the school was very responsive and helpful but that soon changed when I hit a financial hardship and reached out to the school to see if they could help in any way. They began ignoring my calls and emails and when I finally got someone on the phone weeks later, the rep refused to allow me to speak to the financial aid department. They sent me a bill for over $11,000 and told me to get a lawyer. The charges are said to be for an I subsidized loan that they collected and part of a pell ***** that they also collected. Also, my repayment plan with ED **** is set to begin in September. So very horrible what theyve done. Especially after confiding in ******** about previous events that took place with Independence University. Im still being held accountable for this. Not to mention, I only attended classes for 3 weeks! Thats a heck of a bill and horrible of a group of people dedicated to help build the careers of students. Just despicable!Review fromkyle F

1 starFull Sail University - Cybersecurity Program: A Costly Disappointment I am deeply dissatisfied with my experience in the Cybersecurity program at Full Sail University. The program has failed to deliver on its promises of a quality education and career preparation. The curriculum is woefully outdated, failing to address current industry standards and practices. Instructors provide minimal guidance, relying on pre-recorded videos and offering little to no personalized feedback. The virtual learning environment (Proxmox) is plagued with persistent technical issues, including connectivity problems, crashes, and software incompatibilities. These issues have made it incredibly difficult to complete assignments and learn effectively.Despite numerous complaints from myself and other students, Full Sail has been unresponsive to our concerns. We have been given empty assurances, but no real action has been taken to address the problems we've raised. This lack of responsiveness and disregard for student concerns is unacceptable. It's clear that Full Sail is more interested in collecting tuition fees than providing a quality education.I strongly advise prospective students to reconsider enrolling in Full Sail's Cybersecurity program. There are far better options available that will actually prepare you for a successful career in cybersecurity.Review fromAydrik M

Firstly, it was suggested that I purchase the expensive "launchbox" of tech needed for my program, only to later find out that there were items not included that were a necessity for daily assignments. However, the most egregious issues have occurred with the software and programs that we are forced to use as students that constantly malfunction and crash. No matter how much I complained, the instructors would hardly ever take these tech issues into consideration, and the Full Sail IT help that was promised would hardly ever solve the problem fully and never in a timely enough manner to ensure that I was able to complete the assignments on time. As for the instructor themselves, most seem to grade randomly, and /or arbitrarily, even when there is a published rubric for any assignments. Additionally, many of these instructors are either unable and/or unwilling to offer any sort of assistance when it comes to any questions about the assigned work. Escalating these issues to administration has also proven futile, as I would often have to wait several days to get any sort of response, and when someone did finally return a call, it was often from some sort of "student advocate" who didn't do much to resolve the problem. It is becoming increasingly obvious that the school is not in any way concerned with graduating students, but rather keeping them on the books until they have drained every financial aid dime from that student. It is obvious that I will most likely never attain my degree from this school, and now I have amassed a good amount of student debt as a result. I sincerely hope that my experience will prove to be a cautionary tale for anyone considering a program at Full Sail. As for me, I'm in the process of connecting with other students who may have had similar experiences, in hopes of pursuing a class-action lawsuit. I'm also curious as to how Full Sail plans to respond to this seeing as they have done NOTHING to address my concerns thus far.Full Sail University

At Full Sail, we strive to provide a quality education and exceptional services for all students. While we do not agree with the reviewers overall characterization of the University, we certainly take his experience seriously. In review of the complainants academic record, we can confirm that the University has followed its published academic policies with regard to the complainants enrollment. The complainant agreed to the terms and conditions of his program of study, including the grading policy, when he signed the Enrollment Agreement prior to starting his program. While we are dismayed by the reviewers comments, we have followed the academic standards outlined in both the Enrollment Agreement and Catalog. Additionally, we continue to offer our support services should the reviewer have additional questions.Aydrik M

I did indeed agree, however it was under false pretenses, as I was Ill-informed. It was told to me that should I accept the drop-box, everything that Id need moving forward, would be provided within said Drop-box, evidently, if I have to come out of pocket, that wasnt the case. Had I not been lied to, I wouldve merely gone with the alternative option. I feel sabotaged plain and simple.Review fromJuniper C

I became very ill from Covid in Spring of 2020 and had a very difficult recovery. I was diagnosed with Long Covid, but I continued to try and complete my degree with Full Sail. At one point I could not manage it all and tried to take a break to continue after I had better recovered. I was told by the school that I would owe over $7k, for what I don't know. My tuition costs were covered by financial aid. There shouldn't be any balance left over and that had never happened before. They didn't care that it was Covid that caused my issues. They wouldn't waive the $7k no matter what. Later on, more recently I tried to re-enroll again, mostly because I knew I would lose all the work I had put in thus far because their credits do not transfer. I'm not given enough room here to go into the racism and sexism I witnessed in my classes. They said I had to speak to a re-enrollment specialist, but it would be about a month wait before that would happen. Every day after my contact I received phone calls from the school asking me lots of questions about my career path, etc. details about my illness, only to find out they weren't a re-enrollment specialist, couldn't answer any of my questions, and they would transfer me to someone else who said the same things. I finally begged one of them to stop calling me as the invasive questions and comments about my Covid recovery left me feeling violated. They proceeded to blame me for the numerous unwanted phone calls. Someone finally transferred me to the business office where they explained that I could take care of the $7k balance by going through the enrollment process and "squishing together" the old balance with the new enrollment tuition costs. I'm frankly shocked by this because I had extensive conversations about the balance in the past and I specifically asked if financial aid would cover the balance (as it was supposed to anyway.) And to find out much later that all we had to do was "squish" it? This school functions on insanity.Full Sail University

At Full Sail, we strive to provide a quality education and exceptional services for all students. While we do not agree with the reviewers overall characterization of the University, we certainly take her experience seriously. We can confirm that our advisors provided extensive and documented guidance regarding the reviewers enrollment, absences, and tuition charges. The reviewer enrolled at the University twice with her first enrollment in 2017 and her second enrollment in 2020. The reviewers balance is due to the refund calculation required when a student withdraws. The University followed its published refund policy, which resulted in funds being owed to the institution. Our records indicate that our advisors have worked with the reviewer on multiple occasions to answer her questions and resolve her concerns. We continue to offer our support should the reviewer have additional questions.
