On ********** I contacted Sizemore Plumbing service and asked if they could send someone to my home to repair a clogged sink. On *********** at 4;30p.m. Brandon, technician arrived. I showed him the bathroom sink that was clogged. He tried plunging the sink, ran a rod from on top of the house, pour solution down the drain, drill and knocked on the bathroom pipes underneath the cabinet, he still was unable to unclog the sink. At *:05, p.m. Brandon said that he could not fixed the sink today and that he would have to run the rod a separate way, behind the washing machine. (Never came back to do) On * April 2022, 09:14 a.m. I contacted Sizemore plumbing and talked once again to Terry. I told her about the work Brandon had done in my home. Both me and my daughter saw Brandon standing in front of the sink with his arms fold. He seemed to be confused and did not know what to do and could not figure out what was going on. noticed water leaking from underneath the bathroom sink where Brandon was working. The vanity cabinet was newly installed. On * Apr 2022, Brandon returned and admitted that he should have tightened the pipes up before he left. I contacted Terry and ask if she could send someone else out, stated she would have to put me back on the schedule and call me back. Never heard from her again. On ** July 2022, I received a bill from the Sizemore plumbing company in the amount of $23*.50. The description of work that is listed on the bill was not true and is not accurate. He did no other work at my home. Neither did any other technician from the company make any repairs at or in my home. There were "NO" repairs needed on the kitchen sink. He NEVER CAME BACK to clear the washing machine line. Unable to unclog bathroom sink by using the rod on top of the house, drilling, and knocking on the Pipes underneath the vanity cabinet, poured chemical solution down the drain. Still was unable to unclog sink. Very dissatisfied with service, will not refer company to others

    Business response

    09/15/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 19, 2022/09/15) */ pdf attached I am writing in response to Ms. ******'s complaint. The call that we received was that the lavatory, kitchen sink and washing machine line was stopped up. Brandon was sent to do the repair and he has notes on the back of our repair tickets that the lavatory line was full of beads and toys. Customers do not understand that you cannot put everything down drains. I did receive a call back from Ms. ****** about the leak under the lavatory and I did send Brandon back to repair the leak that Ms. ****** claims Brandon created. We were there only for rodding lines. We did not install the lavatory that had the leak on it. We did repair the lavatory drain at no charge to Ms. ******. I have not been paid on the invoice which was $283.32 dollars and I have not received any other calls from Ms. ******. We have been in business for over 50 years, and we never charged our customers when we must go back because they are not satisfied. If Ms. ****** had called me again, we would have gone a third visit however, we cannot be held responsible for something we are not aware of. We pride ourselves in our customer service and I feel bad that someone has not given us a chance to make it right before contacting the Better Business Bureau. Consumer Response /* (3000, 21, 2022/09/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept the response from the business because it is not true. Alone with the complaint that I filed; I also included a witness statement. An individual who was present in the home the times Brandon, technician came and witnessed what he attempted to repair, bathroom sink and what he did not do or attempted to do. At no time did I ask the company to send someone to my home to make any other repairs except to repair the bathroom sink. However, I do understand that we cannot just put anything or everything down the sink and expect it to work properly. I had no problems with my kitchen sink or any other appliances in which he attempted to repair. Neither was he asked to make repairs on any other appliances. I do understand that the company has been in business for fifty or so years, but the fact of this incident remains the same. This troubles me as well, because I trusted them to come to my home and make whatever repairs necessary if could be. I expected the company to be an honest business when serving not only me, but the public as well. Therefore, no, I do not accept the business response. Consumer Response /* (3000, 25, 2022/10/03) */ ***Document Attached*** Sizemore Bros Plumbing Contractor Inc. Please see attached Information: I will be mailing and paying a check in the amount of $85.00 to Sizemore Bros. Plumbing Contractor Inc. for a service fee. However, I will not be paying ($237.50) for work that was Not done or in my home on***********. However, I continue to believe and say that it is wrong for a company, such as this one to falsify billing of work that was never done in my home. Once again, I expected the company to be an honest business when not only serving me, but the public as well regardless of the number of years they have been in business. Therefore, I do not accept the earlier response from the business but will pay the service fee of $85.00 for the company sending someone (Brandon) to my home on***********.
