    I CAN NOT UNDERSTAND WHY BBB IS RATING STANLEY STEEMER A+ Your BBB has tried to present your complaint to Stanley Steemer Carpet Cleaner in an attempt to resolve this matter to your mutual satisfaction. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we have received no response to your complaint. AFTER STANLEY STEEMER SHAMPOOD MY CARPETS, I NOTICED CARPET'S BUCKLING. IMMEIATELY, CALLED THEM & WAS TOLD TO WAIT A FEW DAYS. 48 HOURS LATER NO CHANGE IN CARPETS BULKING. ALSO, NOTICED BLACK DIRTY WATER IN THE TOILET WHERE THEY EMPTIED THEIR MACHINE & CHIP THE ***** TILE. NUMEROUS ****** WERE MADE TO FOLLOW UP TO MY ORIGINAL COMPLAINT / DAMAGE. FINALY THE SUPERVISOR *********** S CALLED & CONFIRMED HE HAD RECEIVED THE PICTURES OF DAMAGES & WILL CALL ME IN A FEW HOURS TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT. LAST CALL RECEIVED FROM *********** S WAS WEEKS LATER & I WAS ASKED TO CALL "******" AT PHONE NUMBER X** 1546 DIRECTLY & MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH HIM TO STRETCH THE *************************** WOULD COME AT THE SAME TIME TO LOOK AT DAMAGE. IMMEDIATELY I CALLED ****** & LEFT TWO MESSAGES FOR HIM. ****** NEVER CALLED ME BACK. AS OF TODAY, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY CALLS OR FURTHER COMMUNICATIONS and/or FOLLOW UP FROM STANLEY STEEMER TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. CLEARLY NEITHER AS BBB.

    TIS IS FOR THE LOUISVILLE KY OFFICE OF STANLEY STEEMER. ****** AND ******* DID AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND HARD WORKERS. MY CARPETS LOOK GREAT AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO CLEAN YOUR CARPET, IF YOU NEED A GOOD JOB TO BE COMPLETED. THANKS GUYS!

    HORRIBLE Horrible Horrible. When I called to make the appointment, I was never asked what type of material my couch was made of, first mistake. When the technicians arrived they asked me what material my couch was made of, and I miss spoke. I then called the store, crate and barrel where I purchased the couch to verified the material and then relayed it was a Twill Cotton mix fabrics. At that point, the technician proceeded to call his manager, **** or *****, who told them not to touch my couch. *** spent all day Saturday waiting for them only for them to tell me theyre not going to do my couch. I even asked them to test a small portion of the fabric in the back of my couch and they refused to do that. I will never call them for anything ever again they will never touch a carpet in my house and I recommend that you dont allow them to do anything in yours either..Horrible horrible horrible. They dont even deserve one star

    Had Stanley Steemer out to clean a walk way & a few rooms. The rooms were fine. They spot cleaned the walk way, instead of cleaning the whole walk way. It looked worse than it did before they cleaned it. I called and emailed them pictures. They were scheduled to come back out on Saturday June 18th. They never showed up. I emailed the office again. Received a call, not an email, that they will be out on Wednesday 6/22 between 1 & 4. They showed up at 5pm as I was leaving. I asked that they also clean in front of the RN station. Well...now in front of the RN station looks just as bad as the walk way. I called again to let then know that I don't believe this was cleaned properly, and sent pictures. There are big dark patches on the carpet. I paid for the 3-rooms since they did clean the carpet and they looked fine. I refused to pay the other two areas. They sent me to collections. I cannot justify paying that bill. I had to find another company to come out and clean up their mess. Not only am I filing this complaint. I'm also filing a complaint with their corporate office.

    According to our records we did go back and reclean to the best of our abilities. It was noted that the stains were permanent and not able to be removed. We will however out of good faith be willing to spilt the amount owed ( ******) in half with customer.

    I will accept that. A check for half, will go out first thing tomorrow. The spots were not permanent, the other company did remove them.

    Paid $1,085 to have my carpet and tile cleaned. Also paid for carpet to be sanitized. Smell still there, tile actually turned milky in one area. They came back for a second attempt on one room. I did not allow them to touch the rest of the house, I did it myself. Lied and said they returned for two hours. They may have been there 30 minutes saying they don't know why tile did that and making excuses for everything that didn't get clean. AFTER poor work, they say they don't guarantee anything but their "workmanship", not their results?!? Sorry, incomplete work and not advised of no guarantee until after they had my money.

    Stanley Steemer has tried to resolve this issue to the best of our abilities. We offered to send Mgr out to access the job that was done, we sent out a different crew to reclean areas of concern and we also refunded a partial amount of the money out of good faith. It is noted that some of these areas are permanent stains that cannot be removed.

    They lied and claimed to have returned and spent 2 more hours recleaning. Spent a few minutes on tile that did no good and left. Total rip off of a company

    They came out a second time for a few minutes---NOT TWO HOURS. I did not let them soak my carpet again. Took over ***************************** for not requesting they suction up more moisture. House was empty and they rushed the job and overpriced me. Made excuses for dirt around edges of every carpeted area, every stain is an unremovable stain, and white haze on tile after cleaning was something they couldn't explain. Sorry workmanship. No mention of a no refund policy. No excuses about poor outcome till AFTER they had my almost $1,100. Hope everyone avoids them like the plaque.
