I used ***** company (Atlanta Expert Carpet Repair) to stretch our carpet in one of our bedrooms on November 18, 2023. ***** had to take apart and move some of our bedroom furniture in order for him to complete the repair (which included the headboard and sideboards) and put everything back together. I paid ***** a $180 in cash to complete the service and did not receive a receipt. On December 3rd, 2023, I contacted ***** because I noticed two scratches on our headboard. ***** immediately apologized for his mistakes and sent me $20.00 via Zelle for the cost of furniture markers. I didn't think there were any other issues. Today, while doing a deep cleaning, I raised the bed skirt and noticed additional scratches on the left sideboard and also scratches on the footboard which was not there, and the bed skirt was not raised after the repair until today. FYI, this room is rarely occupied. I called ***** today, May 21, 2024 to discuss my concerns and during our discussion he acknowledged he wanted to focus on a resolution and even offered to pay the cost of our bedroom set. We agreed that he can refund me for the amount I paid for the repair service via Zelle to fully resolve the issue, and to send him a message or email including the details to settle my complaint. ***** also acknowledged the space was tight and he should have asked for help or waited to complete the repairs. When I sent the message and included the pictures (which he mentioned I did not have to send), ***** response changed and responded that he did not do any of the damage and was not able to refund me my money as he agreed. I would have never called him if the damage was there prior and he did not answer my questions as to how the damaged occurred. Where is the Integrity??? I became irate and he knows what we discussed during our phone conversation. I have text messages regarding our conversations also. To resolve this matter, I am requesting the full refund of the service.Customer response
