      For the second time in the last 60 days this company has reported my account as 30 days late with the credit bureaus inaccurately!!! I filed a complaint back in July for this very thing and they removed it and apologized!!! My payment was due Sept 22nd and they reported the account 30 days late on Sept 29th!!!!!! This company has unprofessional collection tactics and are illegally reporting payment history to *********** which is hurting and credit rating and hindering me from obtaining financial products that Im seeking and would be qualified for if not for this company!!!!!!!!!!!! I want them to correct my payment history immediately or I will file legal action....

      I paid off my Vivint account balance, and my account was in good standing. I even called Fortiva on multiple occasions and was informed that the account was considered closed, as it appears on my credit report. An email was sent stating that I've "earned" an account upgrade and had limited time to respond. In fact, it was not an account upgrade, it was a new account added with a much higher APR and restrictions that would allow the company to gain more profit upon consumer use. Since I was unresponsive, Fortiva opened a new account without my consent, which lowered my credit score. I am a Veteran and often on orders. This is absolutely disrespectful behavior and should be unlawful. I should never be a given time frame from any company that moves forward with a decision to push individuals into spending more money by creating new accounts that include a much higher APR, let alone negatively impact my credit. Instead limited time should be given to consumers to opt-in and not to opt-out. Being an initial account holder with good standing made me a specific target that is causing grief to be removed from my credit. Opening a new account negatively impacts your credit and remains up to 24 months. Removing or closing an account within a short given time also creates harm to an individual credit.Is this even lawful treatment to a consumer, let alone a Veteran who is busy answering the call to duty and is not necessarily privileged to answer an email that prevents a money-hungry corporation from individual monetary damage? This action is absolutely absurd and made it a challenge for me to purchase a vehicle at a more desirable rate.

      I am rejecting this response because I would like submission documentation, preferably on letterhead, to the credit bureaus that were requested to remove the Fortiva Credit Card tradeline from my credit history. As it stands, the new account is set to remain until ****. The actions of ******* lowered my credit and caused an impact.

      In addition, the explanation of my account changing over is not satisfactory, as this is the aforementioned data mentioned and further documented in the initial complaint. It appears it was an excuse for the business's greed. I am a Veteran and did not have access at the time to respond. Therefore, a no response in no way, shape, or form should have been considered consent. 

      Furthermore, A request for compensation should have been acknowledged.

      July 26th, Got a 0% interest for 12 months. The first payment they took the full amount (and also charged a $79 annual fee). I called land disputed that, they said it was refunded and would take 10 business days for me to have a refund check after it was cleared from my bank. The money cleared 8/31. I called monday 9/18, no check. Was told it would be here by Friday. Called again 9/22, still no check. At that time was told the "back office" didn't clear the refund until 9/11 so it would be 10 business days from then to get my refund. Told again to wait. Called again 9/25. Nothing. Spoke with a supervisor, *******. She said she would personally call me with an update on the 27th. Guess who didn't call. Spoke with ****, another supposed supervisor. No help. I told him to reverse the refund and close the account. He said it would take 3-5 days for that to take effect. Let's see if that's true, but I'm highly suspicious that I'll have to call them AGAIN.They have been nothing but a headache and I wish I would have just paid outright.

      I reported a fraudulent charge on my credit card to Aspire over the phone on 9/26/2023 **** hours. The representative closed the card but refused to remove the charge until I filed a report with them and they complete their investigation which takes 60 to 90 days. In the meantime, I am being held responsible for the interest accruing on this fraudulent charge. I requested the charge on 9/13/2023 by a Unique VAC/REP of SAND ***** ** for $166.00 be removed and any interest against this amount be reversed. This is an unauthorized charge made to my account by an unknown party. I have had this happen in the past by different CC companies in the past and always the charge is immediately removed while they do their investigations. To charge me interest on an amount I did not charge is absurd. I would like the $166.00 dollar charge removed with no past, current or future interst against this charge posted to my account.

      Hello, my name is ****************** . The reason for this letter is that I signed up for vivint Home Security back in September ****. I thought I was only paying one company for equipment. I didn't know that I was paying 2 different companies. Until I got something in the mail showing me that I was paying two different people companies, I did have a problem paying In the beginning of the contract.then I got a good job that pays very well So I start making my payments before time on time. And I'm not understand how the company tells me as long as I make the payment before time or on time. There will be no penalty, but all this is a lie each month. I pay before time, and I'm not understand how if I pay before time. Why am I still paying interest? They tell me a minimum payment. That's due, and then they ask extra money on it. I would never get out of debt with this company because the more I pay, the more they charge me more. ****** never told me that it was a different company that I had to pay as well. I just start everything goes into one contract until I found out it was more than 1 company and I'm feeling like I'm getting screwed me over because the more I paid, the more they're still at an interest if I pay a $100 they put $16 if I paid $200 they put $20 on the internet. I'm just not understanding how this interest is able to keep going. And I never read anything regarding about the interest rate through fortiva Then when I call customer service and I ask them, why is the insurance keep going up-and-up and up, and if I was paid before time? They told me it doesn't matter if you pay it on times or before time, you still gonna pay interest more more interest and I don't understand how to accompany this able to do that? But it's 2 points where I'm ready for our chapter 7 bank grocery because I see, this is the only help I'm gonna get. So I'm trying to get some type of help because I'm not understanding why the customer service tells me as long as my payments are due before time or if you pay before time, your interest doesn't increase. But it's costly increasing every time I make a payment. And then they told me yesterday. If you pay 200 dollars, then your interest would not be that high. It's starting to get frustrated every day. Is something different with this company? I did know about this third-party party. I only thought that I was getting business too, baby. So this was the last set alarm. Not to get no one else's home security. I'm gonna be forever in debt with this company. Because the more I pay, the more interesting. Charge me and is getting really frustrating. Even when the account is closed out in collection. They still charge you interest. I just don't get it. It's even when you have a balance. This contract is a very nightmare, and I wouldn't want to.This is ridiculous. It feels like Im being a scam out of hundreds of dollars and I can't find out why this company. Keep doing interest when it's paid b4 time.

      To whom this may concern, I made contact with your office (24 August 2023) when I received the below email to let your company know that I did not approve this purchase because of your employee deceptive practices. I also requested a customer complaint form be sent to this email address as well. Informed your rep to have the field tech to return and reinstall the equipment he took from my home. Uninstall the new new equipment. ******* and I set up an appointment for your tech to come by to retrieve the equipment he installed and return my equipment he took. The tech did not show up for the appointment. I did not authorize a purchase of $1086.96 and would like for Fortiva to remove it immediately. Remove the purchase from my billing statement, Install my equipment your tech took. I want to know who in your office (*******) authorize this purchase it surely wasn't me.       On 8/30/2023 a previous BBB complaint was filed for Fortiva being deceptive and tricking me into accepting the Credit ****************** I did not want. They agreed to a resolution in the last BBB claim that they have not followed through with. I have now been charged for the credit protection fee again and they have not processed any refunds or credits to my account. ******* fails to answer the phone or have anyone at the company who can resolve this. I am demanding they refund the fees they have charged me for this totaling now $32.63 and discontinue charging these fees immediately. I would also request a $100 dollar statement credit for the inconvenience of having to file two separate BBB complaints because the company cannot manage the business well enough to answer the phone. I will not accept resolution until I have a guarantee that these charges will be waived, a discontinuation of further charges, and a statement credit.

      Date of transaction: 8/17/2023 Amount spent up front: $0.00; vivant checked my credit without my knowledge or consent for a Fortiva retail credit card and charged me more than $4,000 worth of security equipment that I was initially assured was free as part of an ongoing promotion. The Vivant sales representative pledged to purchase me out of my existing ADT security contract, improve my security equipment because my ADT equipment was incompatible, and guarantee that my monthly price would be roughly $65the same as I was paying for ADTbut with better/faster quality.The nature of the dispute is that I received two bills one from vivant with the quoted around $65 a month fee and an additional bill from fortiva retail credit for $92 which was not discussed with me by the rep and unauthorized by myself I have reached out to the business and sales rep several times to resolve this issue and was told the only option is to cancel my vivant service but I would still owe the $4000 for unauthorized equipment. They will not come get the equipment, or replace my ADT equipment that they took down. Account #: last 4 ****, full account # unknown

      I want to make a complaint against for Fortiva credit cards. I had made a purchase through a Gardner White for a couch for $866 back in June and I went through three couches and fortriva financed them. garden white had given me back $610 on a credit for the couch that was defective and Fortivas original balance was $866 and they will not give me back my $200 and some dollars that I made the payment so I made a payment for $240 in June $48, in July or August and $48 in September and they refuse to give me my money back so I dont know what to do if someone could please look into this I just tried calling them and they said it was too late to give me my payment back when I dont owe anything on the bill they took the couch back and gave me $610 credit but they still owe me a couple hundred dollars that the payments that I had made Please advise thank you. I should get a full refund. If you need my June bill I have it for proof. Thank you and I also made a complaint for *************************.
