I had a loan which I paid in full. The next week they withdrew 3 of my weekly payments on one day and I have called them 3 times to get my money refunded and they keep saying that they need 24 hours. I have also repeatedly asked them for a document stating that it is paid off and they are refusing to provide that to me.

**** Lending JEM DBA Explore Credit (Company) has completed its review of Aymen Ouerfellis concerns. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we want each customer to know how much we value them. The Company takes these types of inquiries very seriously and appreciates the opportunity to respond to you regarding Aymen Ouerfellis concerns. Be advised, nothing in this communication should be construed as a waiver of the Tribes or the Companys sovereign immunity, all of which are expressly preserved.
Regarding Aymen Ouerfellis concerns about repaying the loan in full and then having additional payments withdrawn,***** ********* did attempt to settle the account with the Company. The settlement payment was to be paid via a debit card, which when we attempted to charge the card was unsuccessful.  The system then processed that payment via an ACH, which was successful, however due the initial payment not being successful, the account did not update a settlement.
Due to the system not being updated to a settled status, the regularly scheduled payments processed in error.  The Company has since updated the account to reflect paid off as settled, and initiated the refund to ***** ********* in the about of $246.75 on April 18, 2025.
***** ********* can contact the Company at ************** or via email at ********************************** should he have any additional concerns.

I have received threatening texts, email and phone calls from this business. I replied to their email on April 1 asking me for the $1,000 to settle this account. I never received another email in reply. I received a threatening text today threatening to pursue legal action if I don't comply. I am in the middle of a cross country move and will not be able to make any payments until July. I am asking for this company to work with me as the phone people are money hungry and will not work with me.

According to my records with Explore Credit, I received funding for $2000 around 6/9/22. According to my records, I payed a total amount of $1248.98 on 8/19/25 and 9/16/25. I cannot find the bank statement but I do have copies of the email sent from Explore to confirm such transaction. Over the past years, I became ill and was not able to fulfill a full years work, my health took precedence leaving me to delay payment. Around last year, I became to communicate with them in finding a lump sum to close the account. At the time, my account was totaling $6800 and was going to close it but I would get a different offer every time from different reps. ****** did I know that I had made those mentioned payments, I was going to offer them $2800. I currently looked at my account and the balance lies at $15,605. A $2000 loan in which I payed $2500 continues to have a balance of $15,600. How can this be allowed by state and federal laws? I did business with ****** for $1000 and it has remained the same considering it was taken about the same time. I would like Explorer account to reach out to me by a supervisor or higher level person to settle this account. I would like for them to consider my original proposal. A 100+ ROI should suffice. The stated amount has been fraudulently breached. This account should have been closed and charged off.

The minute I signed the loan papers the blocked me from logging into my account to check the status of my funds because I still have yet to recieve them. I tried calling n the number as well. Go figure. It isnt a working number. Think I have totally been scammed. Ive contacted my bank an let them know all of this. The better not try to take a dime from me when they have not given me any money at all. NONE. Cant log in to my account so therefore I can get my account number. Never once sent me an email. They just sent text. Which by far screams scam/fraudulent an I should have took that sign to run.

I applied for a line of credit with Explore Credit *****, someone from ************* tried to go into my checking account and take ****** on Thanksgiving, so I had to get a new checking account. I told **********************, they told me to send both my checking account information into them, and I did. I explained to them I have a new checking account and why. They tried to take funds from my old checking account and for the life of me I didn't understand because I explained everything to them in the beginning, but then the turned around and withdrew the funds from my new checking account and tried to take an additional ***** because they said I was late on a payment when they automatically take the funds out of my account. I refused to pay the ***** because I wasn't late, they made the mistake and I refuse to be held accountable for their mistake. I have been harassed with text messages saying my account is closed, I should pay my bills, and all kinds of rude things. I just received a text message yesterday about payment, I texted back letting them know my payments are taken out automatically, then they text back apologizing, then I received another text message today about payment, so I'm being harassed by this company, and I want to seek a lawyer, so I can take legal action!!!! I'm tired, my nerves are bad, my anxiety is high, I'm being bullied, I can't think straight, and I don't deserve this kind of treatment!!!

I pulled my 401k in July so I had 40 k in my account my bank wasn't set up to let me know transactions. it is now february and my bank lets me know transactions. I had money pulled out a little over 200 dollars didn't know what for. I had to track it down through bank and found out it is this explore credit. I have never done business with this place or applied a loan through this place nothing with this business. I contacted them and they say I did I have been paying over 400 a month since July for a loan I didnt take and then when I contact them they took another 500 to pay off loan I didnt take they will not correct it. I contacted them and argued and they will not do anything. I tried to get info for owner of company and they will not give me a number for any one to contact. I spoke with ******* **** who is supposed to be the boss I guess. and she will not give me any one to contact that can help. this place is a fraud and took over 4500 dollars from me on a loan I did not take. why would I take a loan when I have 40 k in my account and pay over 4 k in interest when I had money. I wouldn't. this company needs shut down sounds like there is a lot of fraud with this company and nothing is getting done. you can't even leave a review on there website to warn others. all I want is refunded my money back for a loan I didn't take. I wish I would of caught all these transactions sooner to fix it sooner. but now that I have caught it and found out what is going on i'm super angry they have taken so much from me for something I never applied for. I don't know how they got my info. or how any of this has happened. I hope you can do something to get this business to correct there bad transactions. it's scary that a company can do all of this and get away with it. I agree with what others are saying this company is criminal and fraudulent. please make them stop and prevent them from doing this to others.

On 21 February 2025, withdrawals of $168.20 and $56.20 were deducted from my checking account. I have not authorized any transactions nor received any funds or loan amounts from this company. I have received numerous emails regarding preauthorization and need to complete signature/authority of amount(s) available. This was during a research of available loan companies and rates available to me. At no point did I authorize Explore Credit to deposit nor deduct funds. Attempted calls to customer service were fruitless as the number listed is invalid. I am requesting a full refund and an additional $68 for overdraft fees incurred.

I took out a loan for $500, but due to some unforeseeable circumstances, I've been unable to pay them back with the payment that Explire Credit wanted me to pay. I tried working with a negotiating company to get my bills on track, without the results I come to expect, so I decided to save the money and pay one creditor off at a time so that I know things were being paid off. So my loan with Explore Credit was initially for only $500, which turned into a bill for $2365.65 as of 2.20.25, and they want to cut that in half and charge me $1000 in payments to pay it all off. I get that I borrowed money from them, but no matter what kind of a loan this is, or how stupid I was to do business with them in the first place, no company should be charging a person that kind of interest or fees. Legally, I have been making payments as they have continually hit my bank account every month for pennies on the dollar, thus they have been receiving a payment from me via my bank. Pennies are legal tender, and they have accepted those payments, sometimes taking payments out in pennies up to five times a month by placing a prepay note on the account. If I'm legally paying them, even if its pennies per month, that means they are accepting those funds. They should not be adding interest and fees to the total amount I borrowed. They are acting illegally against me by now sending my bill to collections when they have accepted my payments the entire time with them. I fail to understand the justification of so many fees and interest from them.

Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we want each customer to know how much we value them. The Company takes these types of inquiries very seriously and appreciates the opportunity to respond to you regarding Ms. ******* concerns. Be advised, nothing in this communication should be construed as a waiver of the Tribes or the Companys sovereign immunity, all of which are expressly preserved.
Regarding Ms. ******* concerns about the balance of the account, Ms. ****** received a loan in April 2024, for $500, and to date has made a total of $150.00 in payments.  As per the loan agreement, the account is charged daily interest, and some of the payments have been returned by her bank, so the balance will accumulate interest and late fees.
Regarding the account going into collections, the loan agreement established the payment dates and minimum payment amount due on those dates.  When full payments are not made, or payments are not made on time, the account moves to a collection status.  Ms. ****** has stated that she was not making full payments, so the account did move to a collection status.
We were contacted in December 2024, and Ms. ****** stated she was currently working with ******************************. To date we have not received any communications from them; nor have we received the *** to work with Lighthouse.  The Company is willing to work directly with Ms. ****** to establish a lower payment plan or possibly to settle the remaining balance.
Ms. ****** can contact the Company at ************** or via email at ********************************** should he have any additional concerns.

    Sincerely,
    Compliance Department
